About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. I completely respect owners wishes and direction regarding dog care, diet and exercise. I’m a fit person, and enjoy exercise myself. I enjoy the company of a dog when exercising. Makes us both happy. I spend a lot of time with who I’m boarding, since I am on leave when I do pet care. I am happy to take care of multiple pets from the same home. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and adjust my routine to suit my clients needs. Being on leave makes it easy. About: 18 Acres of Fun! Besides working in the veterinary field as a certified veterinary assistant, I’ve had dogs and cats since I started walking back home in Puerto Rico. I was always rescuing all kinds of critters in the streets and finding them new homes. Big animals, small animals, shy animals, hyper animals, you name it! She came to our campsite three times during the week to check on our dogs, spending about an hour with them each visit. I have many years of pet care experience, including puppy training from 8 weeks to one year old (all positive reinforcement), cat sitting and training, house plants, rodents, reptiles, and birds. When able I will travel distance from my home to yours for a fee to cover time and gas. I also have experience with horses, reptiles, and birds in case your fur babies are maybe less furry! My day job is wildland firefighting so I am infrequently available during the summer and often out of cell service. However, if I can make an impromptu sit work I will! I'm most available for last minute and short term pet or house sitting, just depends on work so please just ask to see if I'm available. However I'd love to take your pups for regular walks (or runs) if I can! Other than as needed services, like walking, I can care for your pets in your home where they are most comfortable. About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.
About: I’ve growing up with multiple types of dogs. Never having less than 2 in the house. I’ve always had at least one cat every where I go! I love animals. I love them like I love kids. As my own. I am currently a full time mom, wife and student I have endless time - on maternity leave to care of others babies. Unless I have specific directions or know that your pet is allowed to eat or do something not listed, it does not happen. We have fun while following the rules. Unless it is an EMERGENCY, your pet does not get in the car with me. I trust myself, I do not trust other drivers.
About: I grew up with dogs and I currently have a black lab who lives with my husband. I’ve dog sat for friends and family throughout my life. I love to run, walk and be outside in nature. Dogs are definitely considered family to me! I am a travel nurse from South Dakota but currently live in Des Moines. I work night shift so during the day I’m around. They are spoiled beyond measure and treated better than a family member. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to spend quality time with your pet! I am available on weekends and holidays, as well as weekdays depending on notice. I have a fenced in dog run with a dog door. I can easily crate your dog if that is helpful to his/her routine. I do have 2 dogs onsite but can keep them separate if needed. We live on 3 acres and walk our dogs every day! They are Family!
