“Maria was responsive to our texts, flexible, followed all our instructions, very prompt, and sent us nice photos of Riley during her stay. It was Riley’s first time away from home, she thoroughly enjoyed her time with Maria & Sandy. Based on our great experience, I will be using Maria’s services again the next time we need to leave Riley with a sitter.”

She got along well with and played hard with her Goldens so we could see the sights on our trip to the area. Her place is set up as a dog’s dream! If we come through again, we know where to bring our girl! Thank you Rebecca!”

“My puppy had an excellent time staying with Linda and her exceptional facilities. Communication was great and the pictures I received helped give me peace of mind while away. I will be sure to reach out to Linda again in the future! 10/10”

About: I'm an active gal who loves the companionship of a pooch while out and about. I love taking dogs on long walks or hikes through the woods or just down the city blocks for a quick leg stretch (and a bathroom stop). I'll be attentive to the needs of your dog, making sure they get plenty of activity, are well hydrated, and fed appropriately. While I don't have a dog of my own currently, I was a dog walker when I lived in New York City and I volunteered for two years with Border Paws Rescue in Rapid City caring for 5 - 10 pups for their pre-bedtime outings. I'm comfortable working with and providing a safe environment for the most goofy and social as well as the most solo and independent pups. I'm happy to accommodate any special needs you and your pup may have. I'm prompt and reliable. I hope to meet you and your pup soon! I work full time, but have flexibility to do bathroom breaks over lunch for kiddos that need more frequent outings. I can take pups on walks in the morning or evening depending on their activity needs. I have a small fenced in yard that is available for outside hangs. I am patient and kind and love to meet the needs of each pup where they are at. I have volunteered in a rescue and am comfortable around dogs of different temperaments.
“Brittany was AWESOME with our special needs (acute separation anxiety) Schnauzer mix named Cooper!! She was able to take him with her to work and gave him meds when he go anxious. She also sent photo updates during his stay to let us know how he was doing. I highly recommend Brittany and we will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

“Susan took excellent care of our fur baby Tucker. She sent lots of pics and he always looked so happy in each of them. Susan without question has a passion for animals and we highly recommend her.”

“I recently left my 2 yo dog, Wilson, in the care of Hector and his sister for 10 days while I was traveling abroad, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Hector provided good care, love and attention. I received regular updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind while I was overseas. It's clear that Hector and his family are true dog lovers, and I highly recommend his service to anyone in need of a reliable and caring host. 5 stars ⭐️!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I grew up, always having at least two dogs in the house, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog sat on many occasions for family members and friends, whether it was for a day or a whole weekend. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and of course, plenty of attention and cuddles! I understand the importance of needing someone you trust to care for your pets and you can trust me to treat your dogs like they’re my own :) I typically work three 12-hour shifts in a row which leaves me with several days off to spend with your pets during the week! This provides me with plenty of time to make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need rather than being left alone for long periods. You can trust that your dog can feel safe and comfortable at my home in my care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and playtime, along with access to nearby parks and walking trails for plenty of exercise and exploring. I also have toys and treats available to make their stay extra fun. When caring for pets in my own home, I’m happy to follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I know pets are often most comfortable in their usual routine/home, so I’ll make sure they get lots of attention and care while they’re away and of course I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.
“We loved having Margaret stay at our home and watch our Westie. She is exceptionally professional, punctual, friendly, caring and an all-around awesome person. We greatly appreciated her clear communication. Margaret texted us regular updates and photos. She took great care of our pup, following all of our intricate care instructions. She also kept the house in perfect shape. A++ experience”

“I’m very pleased. Birdie was obviously indulged and fully pampered, eagerly greeted her daily visits and spoiled as much as I would have done myself if not more. One photo even showed Birdie rolled onto her back which is an ultimate sign of acceptance and comfort with your care. Thank you so much!”

“I couldn't of been more grateful to find Chelsea to take care of Butter and Waffles like they were her own! She made sure to give consistent updates and follow their quirky needs/schedule that put my mind to ease. I could tell my kitties were really happy with her care! ☺️ She has such a genuine heart and made sure to leave my home better than when we left which was also SO nice to come back to after a long international flight. She really went above and beyond, I would definitely book with her again! ?”

“Kairi is awesome. I needed someone very last minute and she responded immediately and was able to help me out. She takes the time to play with the dogs and really pays attention to them.”

“Five stars! Jaiden was absolutely lovely helping me understand the Rover process. My cat came back relaxed and happy! She was an absolute lifesaver in this heat. Would 100000% book again and highly recommend.”

“Arianne was great with our boy Carbon. It was his first time spending a night without me or my husband present since we got him 3+ years ago, and she made sure that it wasn't a bad experience for him. We definitely went overboard when it came to providing information about him, but Arianne was able to handle it all without issue. 6/5.”

About: I’ve worked with animals, mostly dogs and horses my whole life. My career as a Ship’s Captain makes it impossible for me to have my own pets, so I care for others’s pets, like they are my own. I am very responsible and resourceful. I will always keep you informed on how your dog is, I’ll send you photos, a LOT! I completely respect owners wishes and direction regarding dog care, diet and exercise. I’m a fit person, and enjoy exercise myself. I enjoy the company of a dog when exercising. Makes us both happy. When I care for a dog in your home, I understand the boundaries. My home is in a beautiful area, with plenty of room. I do have a fenced space. I spend a lot of time with who I’m boarding, since I am on leave when I do pet care. I am happy to take care of multiple pets from the same home. However, I do try to take care of only one family at a time. When I’m caring for your pet, I am on leave, and have very few commitments. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and adjust my routine to suit my clients needs. Being on leave makes it easy. I have a lot of room at my home, no pets of my own, and my neighbors don’t have any either. I have a fenced dog run, but I seldom need to use it, but I know I am glad to have it, just in case.
“Kim did drop-in visits at my home. My two older kitties are both rescues from a shelter and both are very shy. Kim was able to win them over in a short time. I knew they would eat the food she'd put out but I was glad to hear they let her pet them. I'd definitely recommend Kim for any type of petsitting!”
“We have never done a drop-in before, so we were a bit nervous about how our dog would do with someone coming into her space. But Margaret was amazing and so patient with her! She came by for a meet-and-greet to get to know her ahead of time, which was perfect. We would 100% have Margaret watch June again!”

“Jaiden took great care of our dog! She was available last minute to watch him while we visited Mount Rushmore. He had lots of fun playing with his new friends, and Jaiden sent plenty of pictures. Definitely recommend her.”

“We are so happy to have found Susan on Rover. She cared for our pup Fern while we were in town on vacation. Some of the places we visited didn’t allow dogs, so having her cared for while we were sightseeing was such a blessing. Susan was amazing, she sent us many texts and videos of the adventures they took together. Fern had such a great time and we felt so comfortable that she was in good hands. We highly Susan, she’s a gem!!”

“We were so lucky to find Margaret for a last-minute daycare need while visiting the area. All the local boarding places were full, and we truly lucked out finding her. It was our first time using Rover, and she made us feel completely at ease from the beginning. Zoe had never stayed at a sitter’s home before, but Margaret made the drop-off easy and sent tons of photos throughout the day to keep us updated. If you’re visiting and need someone you can trust, Margaret is fantastic.”

“Gio had a great time with Caroline and her house today: following her around the yard while she planted, and getting loves and a nap in the house. I would definitely have him come again. And he got a cute bag, and a dapper tie.”

“Did amazing with our girl. She sent pictures throughout time and stayed in contact with us. Would definitely recommend Brittany to watch your fur babies. Will use her again when we come back to the area.”

“My dog liked Jessica right away. He is a nervous dog, but was not nervous around her and he was happy when we picked him up. Jessica was very helpful and didn't mind introducing my dog to her cats and seeing how he was with them. Great experience!”

“I’ve known Linda for several years, and implicitly trusted her with my German Shepard. I was in a pickle, was kind of last minute preparation for me ( I usually have everything written down, food bags prepared and labeled…) to leave home and have her watch my dog. He needs medication with his diet or he can’t digest what he eats, which was no issue with her. She sends pics and videos, and great communication, to help the ease of being separated from my best buddy and travel partner. She ‘speaks’ dog, reads and knows their energy. The facility is a dog’s haven and resort! I am sure my dog will love going back for a ‘dogcation’!”

About: 18 Acres of Fun! Besides working in the veterinary field as a certified veterinary assistant, I’ve had dogs and cats since I started walking back home in Puerto Rico. About: I have extensive experience in animal care, having grown up rehabilitating, caring for, and training a wide range of animals, from small squirrels to large horses. With several years of experience as a veterinary technician, I am deeply passionate about animal welfare. Over the past several years, I have also provided pet sitting services, caring for both young and elderly animals, as well as those with special needs. I am highly comfortable and confident in administering medications as needed as well as adhering to any specific dietary guidelines. I am a stay at home mom to my 11 month old son, so I have lots of time in my schedule to keep a close eye on your pet and give them as much attention as possible while you’re away! I have a fenced back yard which is perfect for playtime or just to hang out and get some sun! My own dog loves to run around up and down the hill in our yard! I also have a large dog kennel in case that is at all needed.
About: I've had pet dogs since I was around 8 years old and have loved taking care of my dogs. I wish to be able to take care of your pets as if they were like my own pups. I am currently working part time and will be going to college in the school time so I will be able to play with your pups as often as I can if not more! I will be watching your pets and playing with them as if they were in my home with me and be able to give them lots of cuddles and playtime
“We love Susan! Susan is amazing with Enzo! She is responsive, flexible, and punctual. She made an extra trip for our meet and greet to make sure that Enzo was comfortable. Can’t thank you enough! See you soon ?”

About: Hi there! I have many years of pet care experience, including puppy training from 8 weeks to one year old (all positive reinforcement), cat sitting and training, house plants, rodents, reptiles, and birds. I have dog and cat sit professionally for friends and clients for several years. As well as informal dog and cat training experience. Additionally, I was a volunteer at a raptor rehabilitation center for 3 years and have varied bird experience. I specialize in house sitting. When able I will travel distance from my home to yours for a fee to cover time and gas. I've had several extended over 2 week house sitting jobs which have included multiple creatures *cats dogs and plants!) to care for. I also have experience with horses, reptiles, and birds in case your fur babies are maybe less furry! My day job is wildland firefighting so I am infrequently available during the summer and often out of cell service. However, if I can make an impromptu sit work I will! I'm most available for last minute and short term pet or house sitting, just depends on work so please just ask to see if I'm available. However I'd love to take your pups for regular walks (or runs) if I can! Other than as needed services, like walking, I can care for your pets in your home where they are most comfortable. Either house-sitting if you are comfortable with that, or checking on them regularly and ensuring they are fed, walked, and loved in a way that fits their comfortability.
“Matilyn did a great job walking our dogs! She also let me that our female dog was showing signs of a UTI. Took her to the Vet the next day and sure enough, our dog did have a UTI! We would definitely rebook Matilyn!”
