About: My family and I raised my first dog from a puppy. All the dogs (and cats) who followed were rescues. Most were seniors that we cared for till they passed away. I’ve also owned parakeets, and taught them to talk! Our current lifestyle makes it difficult to have pets of our own, and we miss them! If you’re looking for someone to love on your pup, kitty, or bird, I’d love to help out. I’m happy to feed your pets, walk your dogs, or stay with pets in your home while you’re away. As an owner of pets for many years, I enjoy their company; and, many times, pets are drawn to me.

About: My number one pet care skill is dog walking. In current life I have now, my family recently adopted an eleven month lab mix puppy who I have been helping to house train and potty train her. I live near a park with a track around it, so it makes it easy to walk her. My other skill would be getting dogs to like and trust me. Ever since I was four, I have had at least two dogs, which has trained me to give dogs a lot of pettings, talk to them, and play with them. Other specialties I have are feeding, watering, bathing, brushing a dog, and training a dog basic tricks, such as sit. Overall, I have had five dogs, in my life time since I was four, including a Jack Russel, Terrier mix, Pyrenees Poodle, Feist, and a Lab mix. Parting outside of dogs, I have experience with caring for rabbits, birds and fowl (chicken, duck, geese, guinea), and a stray cat. Hi, I am a second year college student, and also have a job in fast food. Dog sitting is my side gig, which making my hours limited. I am available all day on Sundays, available after 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and before 3pm on Saturdays. The number one way I will care for your pet at your home is by being attentive. I'll make sure that they are not doing anything they should not be doing. I will also ensure they have plenty of time outside for potty breaks, walks, and exercise. Furthermore I will keep an eye that they are fed properly, have plenty of water, and loved and cared for. Lastly, I'll make certain to clean whatever mess your pet may make and guarantee that your pet is happy and content.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 12 . 5 years at spca as a teen, emergency vet office at 18, rehab of many critters. I have always had many pets exotic and domesticated. I now have a small Savannah cat breeding program, 11 chickens, 3 dogs , and a goat . I want to start this business to get out of hospitality. My husband is retired. We bought our dream home. This is something that fits my personality and my life. I work part time. The goal is to make this my full time job. I want to change my career into pet care . About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I’m currently in university and may need to adjust for my classes, but I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 4 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

About: I am your typical animal lover! The one you see talking to people’s pets in public. I currently have a rescue GSD and a rescue cat so whether you have had your pet since a puppy or adopted at an older age, I assure you they will get ALL the loving. My passion is to rescue hurt, sick, or abandoned animals. I love meeting all the different personalities pets bring. I am a travel emergency nurse that finished an assignment in Highlands, NC recently. I am pretty flexible on times currently. I loved the area so I have decided to hang out for a while until my next assignment. I travel back home (AL) to work every two weeks but will have several days of availability! I am currently working part time at Ingles but I'm very flexible and reliable. I just moved here so right now I don't have any clients. About: Growing up in a small town, I’ve always taken care of dogs including my own, neighbors, friends, and families. I have grown up caring for all dogs, and loved them all as my own. All ages and breeds are welcome! I am a registered nurse and work 3 days a week, my partner works from home and is there most of the day. I always including nightly or morning walks on my work day routines. I have a big beautiful yard dogs can run and play in, we have dog balls/toys to throw. Walking trails right off the driveway which we enjoy morning or nightly!

About: I am a college student at WCU! And since I was a little girl I have cared for animals and my heart grows bigger for them each day! I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. I can care for pets most mornings and evening, and several mid days a week! About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home,which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

About: I have cared for dogs, and cats, of all kind since I was a child. I have always had them in my life, usually rescued. I was a foster mom for a Pug rescue out of Kansas City for several years, and cared for Pugs of all ages, and from various backgrounds including puppymills. I have a lot of experience with socializing dogs from abusive and neglectful situations, caring for dogs with health issues such as diabetes/blindness, and dogs needing various medications. I have rescued many dogs that have been abandoned, and found loving homes for them through home and vet checks. Caring for dogs and cats is my passion. I am currently a home maker with no children, so my schedule is very flexible. Plus, if your dog is boarded at my home, there would be no need to kennel them since I am usually home all day. If I provided care during the day for a pet in someone's home, I would be happy to follow any and all instructions, and provide at least 2 walks a day. I would also love to send daily updates with pictures so pet parents can see how happy and well cared for their pets are. If the pet is in my care at my home, there would be three walks a day. I am home all day so there would be no need to kennel them unless the owner requests it. I currently have an older Pug mix dog that is playful and good with other dogs.

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and have had a wide variety of pets. I am comfortable taking care of senior pets puppies and ones that require special needs. I have a flexible lifestyle and flexible scheduling and can provide the needed time to care for your pet and will provide updates on a consistent basis. I have a large yard and will keep pets on leash if required but I am located in a rural area a good distance from any major road.
