About: Hi! My name is Joelle and I live and work in Wilmington, DE. My partner and I currently have four cats and a beagle/corgi mix! I’ve been pet-sitting dogs and cats for family, friends, neighbors and Rover clients for over 14 years and can’t imagine doing anything else with my free time! I am able to care for and have previous experience with up to 6 animals at a time. I'm currently offering drop-in care and dog walking services, with very limited availability for house sitting. References are available for anyone that is interested and I’d be happy to discuss making adjustments to the services/schedules I have listed if they don't match you or your pet’s specific needs. I work full-time and have a pretty flexible hybrid schedule. Most of my weeks are 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home and these days can be moved around as needed - especially to accommodate house sitting requests! While my work from home days change from week to week, I usually try to work from home on Thursdays and Fridays. For Mondays-Wednesdays when I am in the office I typically have the following availability (with some flexibility): Before 8:00am 12:00-1:00pm After 4:00pm If you feel like I would be a good fit for you and your pets but aren't sure if the schedules would line up well, please reach out! I am happy to switch my in-the-office days with work-from-home days if needed :) My goal while your pet is in my care is to create a relaxing and stress-free environment for them. I prefer to care for animals in their own home so that they are in an environment they are familiar with while also being surrounded by their favorite toys/things. I’m also big on routine and positive reinforcement! In my opinion, following the same routine as normal helps reduce stress on your pet while you’re away and I’m more than happy to recreate those routines for them.

I have experience in caring for a senior (19 yr old) cat and everything that includes — bathroom troubles, arthritis, medication, etc. I am working part-time, so I will have plenty of time (20+ hours) per week, day and night, to care for pets in whatever way necessary. Caring for pets in a client’s home is wholly about making the pet feel cared for in the comfort of their own environment — giving them exercise, ensuring they are fed and have pooped and peed, checking up on any issues, and keeping them company (or leaving them alone in some cases).

I have free time we mostly do pet sitting I have the time and care when your animal is with me while your away . About: I have lived with animals since I was born and have taken care of my family dog since I was 8, I love taking any kind of dog for a walk! I usually work my tennis instructing class from 9 am to 12 pm and I am available to walk dogs at anytime after that. Sometimes I work 5:30 pm to 8:30 but that is usually on one day of the week. I have two cats and one dog who all get along nicely. I have an open backyard where my cats stay in and play for an hour or two and come right back inside, and my dog likes to sunbathe and play ball but does not go out of eye sight.
