About: I grew up taking care of dogs and spending time with other animals such as birds, reptiles and rodents. When I was a 10 years old my father and I partnered together to train a service dog for a family friend. I am an expert in animal behavior and training. As I got older I have been a very reliable and trust worthy person my family and friends have depended on for pet care. I can provide affordable, quality pet care for both dogs and cats. I promise my utmost attention and excellent care to each pet I sit. I am working a part time job and actively taking college courses. I am available for house sitting Sat-Tues, however I work Wed-Fri only being available in the evenings for sitting. I understand how important safety is to every pet owner. I am a passionate animal lover with experience providing both overnight/in-home pet sitting and drop-in visits for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I also make sure pets receive lots of affection and companionship so they feel secure while their family is away. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, including puppies who are still learning routines and anxious dogs who may need extra patience and reassurance. Because I have raised two puppies and have an anxious dog of my own, I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and individualized care. Communication is extremely important to me. I value keeping owners updated with messages, photos, and check-ins, and I want pet parents to feel confident that their dog is receiving excellent care. I always follow the owner's preferences and instructions, and I make sure any decisions regarding their pet are discussed with them whenever possible. About: Growing up, I have always had cats and dogs in the home. I have always had a passion for caring for animals and being their advocate since they can’t speak for themselves. I am comfortable with all sorts of animals, as I have worked in a small animal veterinary clinic and a wildlife rehab facility. As a recent college graduate, I have moved back home to save up by working a full time job. I am available most friday-sundays all day and outside the hours of 8-5 on weekdays. I am experienced in animal handling and can help the animal feel comfortable, even when the owner is not present. She listened to every single instruction with incredible attention to detail, she communicated with us with pictures regularly to ease our anxiety while we were gone, she clearly cared for our dogs, gave them tons of love and attention, and her experience with animals and background in dog training was evident. We came home to a spotless house, she washed dog dishes she didn’t have to wash, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. I also cared for my soul dog Marcello, who developed anxiety in his later years and needed patience, consistency, and a calm environment. Both of my dogs were seniors who lived long, full lives (15 and 17), so I’m very comfortable with senior care, medication routines, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health. I’ve also fostered multiple dogs over the years, including a puppy, so I’m familiar with different temperaments, energy levels, and basic training needs. Because I work from home, your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. I’ve had animals my entire life, and while I can’t have one of my own right now, caring for others’ pets truly brings me joy. I treat every animal like family and aim to create a calm, loving, and reliable environment while you’re away. I’m currently working remotely with a great deal of flexibility! I have no set meetings or calls that would conflict with a pet care schedule and can plan accordingly to accomodate your pets needs. I am unable to take your pets to my home due to lease regulations but can come watch your animals in the comfort of your own home.
