About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience with diabetic dogs. Dogs that need medicine. Special needs dogs. I love to play with them, walk them and I will treat them as my own. We raise horses so I have a lot of experience where you have to pay close attention so I would notice if something is off with you dog and I would address it immediately. I’m retired so you would not have to worry about your dog or cat. I would walk, brush, and play with your dog or cat. I would take care of your animal as my own at your home. I would make sure they are loved like my own. If they have special needs or need shots, medicine or anything extra you can feel safe with me.

Aniya did an amazing job with Max and Milo with taking them out and sending me pictures while they were out on their walk. Anyia was very informative and I truly appreciate the fact that she took the time to be informative. I will use her again to take care of my fur babies.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, so getting older & widening my love for animals into a job seemed so fitting. I really enjoy those outdoors walks & dog park visits I am able to get in. Not only do the animals need to burn off energy, but I do as well! I currently am working a part-time hostess job at Casey’s in New Buffalo while I do only college classes at the same time, but still have plenty of hours in the day to attend to your fur babies! I am extremely flexible to any needs. I prefer watching the fur babies at the clients home because the pets are more comfortable there & can do their daily routines there. I would rather adjust myself than to have them adjust!

About: I have three pets (two dogs and a kitten). I have had my dogs since they were puppies and trained both. They are basic and advanced command trained, crate trained, and potty trained. My sister successfully captured a stray kitten and after getting him fully vetted he is now our indoor cat who has been successfully litter trained. I have babysat many of my neighbors dogs and love walking my two dogs. I know how to deliver medicine to pets and feel comfortable caring for older pets. I'm currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule! I am available most weekends and during the week. I start a hybrid college course in January. When I visit your home I ensure to leave things the way I found them (hang up leashed/put toys away) and I am happy to meet a home before care for instructions.

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs and cats of all personalities, and I always make sure each pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely loved. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and comfort so every visit feels familiar and stress-free. What sets me apart is my reliability, patience, and the personal connection I build with each pet—your animals get real, focused care every single time. I’m currently a senior in high school, and have lots of free time after school! I’m available any time after 4pm during the week. On the weekends, I’m almost always available! Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I focus on making their routine feel as normal and comforting as possible. In my home, pets get a calm, clean, and safe space with plenty of attention, playtime, and downtime. When I’m caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I follow your instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, medications, and special habits—so your pet stays comfortable in their own environment. No matter where the care happens, your pet gets gentle, reliable, and personalized attention every time.

About: Hi, I'm a 36 year old animal lover, I've had dogs and cats most of my life. Currently I don't have any pets due to the rules where I live, but I'd love to treat your pets like my own. Walks, baths or whatever the goodest boys and girls want/need. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. I currently have a pretty open schedule except 2-8pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday (can be worked around for the right situation). I have plenty of time to make sure your best friend is living their best lives while you're away. Pets are my top priority, potty and breakfast first thing in the morning, a nice walk around the neighborhood, lots of playtime especially for those high energy breeds, brushings and bathes for the dirty doggos and add in pretty painted nails for the pretty goodest girls.

About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!

Work part-time in specialized, diversified retail, otherwise freelance (gig work, journalism, music industry -related tasks, et. al.), with a flexible schedule for early mornings, evenings, and weekends. About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. Soon after it’ll start to feel like animals are attracted to you (but it’s mostly because I give them food lol). I go by Janet and I love animals from feathery to furry. I have 4 birds, 7 cats and 1 turtle (all rescues). I know that with the proper care and instruction I can take care of any friend! New update from November 2025 - I’m back on Rover after a year-long hiatus and accepting new clients in the Chicago land area and northwest Indiana. 😊 My husband and I moved into a house with a spacious backyard in Lansing, Illinois. I’m open for arranging pick up and drop off as I do have a reliable transportation. Lastly, a meet and greet at my home would be ideal so your pup(s) can meet my husband, who will be there a majority of the time, and get a feel of where they will be staying. But rest assured I will be 100% responsible at all times for your pup(s) while under my care. I currently work from home. I set my own schedule, so I’m available to work whenever I am needed including mornings and weekends. Preferably daytime and Fri - Sat date night evening. I care for pets by making sure to thoroughly read care instructions and immediately contacting the owner by either call or txt if I have any questions. And most importantly by never letting them out of my sight!
