“Jessica has been a wonderful caretaker & companion to our sweet, old dogs. I would definitely recommend her to my family, friends, & co-workers for their pet care needs. Jessica was so nice to meet us prior to booking her services & sent pictures of her visit, as well as bring our sweet boys a treat or two. Our dogs usually have terrible separation anxiety & stop eating, yet with Jessica's help they didn't miss a meal, a belly rub, a treat, or a walk. Thank you so much Jessica for taking such good care of our furry family members! We appreciate you.”

About: From an early age, I've taken care of animals small-to-large, parrots-to-malamutes and I believe they're all special, giving us an endless quality of life 💓. Making time for ani-fam is never an inconvenience because it is a practice of fulfilling a pet's needs. ☺️ It also helps to fulfill my self-care/ spiritual health needs by nurturing another living being. I find I function best when I care for an animal as it keeps me on task, on schedule, and mentally happy, too! Our two family cats are fed early in the am/pm, plenty of (consensual) belly rubs, a daily lil' treat, playtime and plenty of nap time as well as personal space, as they see fit. We also share the past-time of birdwatching in the countryside. ✨ When it comes to your pet and your home, I am dedicated to respecting your pet's dietary restrictions, physical "play" needs, and always approaching with love and respect, as I will be the guest in their/your home. Between a strict regimen or low-maintenance regimen for your animal, I would require meeting with you/them in your space beforehand to make sure I get a thorough briefing. I also believe this helps with introductory bonding, showing I am a safe person to trust, and not cause unwanted stress on your pet.

I started house sitting and walking pets for my own parents and their friends in 11th grade and have continued if needed over the years. I have never had any difficulties or emergency during those times. Typically I work from home each week and occasionally leave on the weekends for sports activities. My after work activities are normal local or in Roanoke. I can easily crate a pet within my home away from the friendly animals in my home. I'm about to go to a home and provide any animals walks/breaks as needed and feed them.

“I am picky about who I will let watch our four legged children but Siara is the best! Our dogs and cats love her which makes it easier to leave them when we know she will be watching them. Very responsible and trustworthy!”

christina y.
“Christina has watched my 3 dogs on several occasions, she always made sure they was well fed, cleaned up after and loved while we weren’t there. She’s super caring and loves all animals like they’re her own, she followed all directions we left perfectly and we came home to happy, clean, and safe little puppies. There is no one id rather recommend to intrust your fur babies to, she will 100% do everything she can for them and exceed your expectations.”

Kristen M.
“We have been using Kristen for years for all of our pets. She has taken great care of our 4 dogs, snake, crested geckos and 11 fish tanks full of fish. She is our first call when we need to leave our animals at home. We never have to worry about them when we leave them in her hands. Highly recommended!”

Tyler C.
“Tyler is a naturally hardworking and caring person. He has always loved animals. He loves and takes care of his own dog named Roxi! Ever since he got her they have been side by side living their best lives. He is pretty active and takes his dog on plenty of walks. He wants all animals and people to have happy and wonderful experiences in life. Serving on a church production team and giving his time to influence and help others. Definitely a qualified and genuine person.”

Rachel M.
“There are dog people and then there are other people. Rachel is a dog person. Her affinity for our canine friends is a part of who she is, and dogs respond to her. They know she has their back. You couldn't ask for a better person to give your pal a great afternoon or weekend. There will be walkies, there will be treats and there will be lots of play. If I were a dog, I would tell you the solution is simple: If you're going to leave me, please let me go to Rachel's house to play. ”

Mikayla S.
“Mikayla is a very dedicated and caring individual who adores animals and puts their needs first. She is always kind and patient with my dogs, especially my special needs dog with a congenital heart defect who requires extra special feeding and exercise care. I have trusted her to care for my dogs for the last 4 years, and will continue to do so. Mikayla will treat your pets like her own.”

Sage J.
“You couldn't ask for anyone better than Sage to look after your dogs! She is caring, knowledgeable and dependable. We have first hand experience as Sage has cared for our 4 rescue pups while we traveled, feeding, walking and playing with them daily. We always knew that they were in good hands and are sad that Sage has moved away. Everybody misses her!”

Lani O.
“Lani is a very reliable person. You can count on things being just the way I left them if not better. She takes care of my 15 y/o and my 3 y/o and she does amazing with them. I sometimes think they like her more them me lol.”

Malcolm L.
“Malcolm Lofton has been around dogs since he was a itty-bitty thing. The family was very big on animals, especially dogs. That’s why it made sense that Malcolm got one of his own and his name is Nipsey and he is the sweetest boy ever. And speaking for him, I know that a big thing for him was to have a pitbull, which Nipsey is because growing up a lot of people would say that pitbulls are an aggressive breed, A statement that never ran true because it depends on the owners and I personally believe that’s why Malcolm got a pitbull because he wanted to show that with a good owner pitbull’s are the best pets! They say a dog is a man’s best friend, but if you saw Malcolm and Nipsey interact, they are like best friends, like brothers/Siblings and have the cutest relationship ever, which is not hard to believe because Malcolm has always been a great companion for dogs and vice versa.”
