“Kristen is so very good with all of the pets she boards. I witnessed how she cares for them on my 3 visits to her property. She has a young daughter. My min pin bonded with the little girl first. He does the best with women. We suspect he was previously mistreated by a man. Her house and her care was the best choice for my Chapo. She was attentive, responded to my text messages promptly. He did get out on her right off leash before I came to get him. She was able to retrieve him but not before he went through a tick nest chasing a rabbit. She promptly bathed him in flea and tick shampoo. I have seen no ticks on him. I was very grateful that she got him back safely and promptly took care of the tick issue. She is a rare gem. She really cares and takes excellent care of other people's pets. I have no hesitation leaving my dog with her again.”

Sadly, they went to doggy and kitty heaven when I was around 10🥺 In November of 2023, I lost my sweet Treeing-Walker Coonhound named, Maverick. He was as feisty as they come! Now, my boyfriend & I spend our time loving on his pup, Bella, a Pitbull/Alaskan Malamute mix. “Our previous sitter told me they are moving, which prompted me to search for a new sitter. I decided to try Rebecca, and am I glad I did! I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. “Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

About: I have worked in a small animal hospital for 15 years. Did equine vet tech For 5 years before returning to small animal with limited exotic animal medicine. I have experience with cats dogs horses And most rodents and personally own a snake. Limited experience with birds and reptiles. I went to school at SUNY Delhi for vet tech and SUNY cobleskill for horse training. My own dog is hand raised so I am familiar with dog care at all life stages. My cat is adopted and thinks she is a dog! And one of my horses is geriatric so I understand all of her special needs. Total per count is 2 dogs a cat 2 horses and a snake. I can give medications, do first aid treatment, and assist with basic medical procedures. No such thing as too needy of an animal! I like fur babies more than I like people most days :) Insured through PCI for cats dogs and pocket pets! I work as a vet tech at an animal hospital so am primarily available for walk after 6 pm during most week days, and am available all day on weekends! I have a fenced in yard but my neighbors dogs do get loose and cause occasional issues so I don’t risk Saftey and don’t offer in home service just in case.I will happily bring your dog on adventures with my dogs if you like! I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, potty breaks, exercise, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I currently do work full time but I do create my own schedule and am pretty flexible so we can work around the hours needed for you and your pet! I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

So I am very flexible when it comes to last minute jobs or even long term jobs! About: I have had the pleasure to take care of animals my whole life. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I am also very patient for kitties who just want to lay around and sleep. If given the opportunity I would love to spend my time with the animals you love. I am in the national guard so I work 1 weekend a month and the rest is free! I am currently trying to make animal sitting an everyday thing so I can work out any times needed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily. I do have a cat that is very friendly but she can go in my room if needed. There is room in my house to play and room for an animal to be alone if they wanted or needed

“Kristen is so very good with all of the pets she boards. I witnessed how she cares for them on my 3 visits to her property. She has a young daughter. My min pin bonded with the little girl first. He does the best with women. We suspect he was previously mistreated by a man. Her house and her care was the best choice for my Chapo. She was attentive, responded to my text messages promptly. He did get out on her right off leash before I came to get him. She was able to retrieve him but not before he went through a tick nest chasing a rabbit. She promptly bathed him in flea and tick shampoo. I have seen no ticks on him. I was very grateful that she got him back safely and promptly took care of the tick issue. She is a rare gem. She really cares and takes excellent care of other people's pets. I have no hesitation leaving my dog with her again.”
