About: I have always had a passion for taking care of animals. I grew up with an energetic Black Lab that taught me how to throw the perfect ball toss. Then, my rescued schnauzer taught me patience when dealing with difficult behavior. I started to watch dogs when I was 15 after taking care of my own for many years. I was responsible for watching a senior dog, and entrusted to give her medicine and provide enrichment. I also volunteered walking dogs at local animal shelters, where I learned how to walk dogs with a variety of behaviors. In my care, I prioritize the pet’s comfortability and provide mental stimulation. Additionally, I am experienced in interacting with dogs with behavioral issues. I am currently a full time student, as well as an intern at GCRL. Though I have a busy schedule, my class schedule allows for check ins, walks, and house sitting. I am also to available more time into your pets on the weekends! In your house, your pets comfortability is my top priority. I have many enrichment toys such as lick mats and puzzle toys that your pet can play with! Additionally, I ensure that nothing is left out for your pet to possibly get into.

“Julia was such an awesome sitter for our fur babies! She sent plenty of pictures and videos throughout the weekend and was very responsive! Our dogs require some special attention and she was incredible with them. Better yet, they seemed to have loved her! Highly recommend her for your pet/house sitting needs! Will book again! :)”

About: I have owned and taken care of many breeds of dogs and cats. I have experience with litter deliveries as well as administering medications. I have a great love for animals and will treat your pet as my own, with lots of snuggles, playing and lots of love. I am retired and am available for any services needed whether it be drop ins for walks, feeding or just sitting. I am also available for weekly or longer pet/house sitting. My dog is my baby, my shadow. We snuggle all the time, which I will also do with your fur baby/babies. My sister lives next door and has 6 dogs and two cats!! I keep very busy with 7 dogs daily.

“We’re so grateful to have found Diane on Rover! She was absolutely wonderful with our dog—attentive, kind, and incredibly responsive. From the start, she was quick to communicate, flexible with scheduling, and made everything easy for us. Most importantly, our dog took to her right away, snuggling up like they’d known each other forever. It’s clear Diane genuinely cares, and we felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in such loving hands. We can’t wait to book with her again!”

About: I usually go running 2-3 times a week. I don't have any dogs at the moment, so I would love to take yours running. If they are out of shape, we'll just jog a little bit and work our way up. I always had dogs and cats growing up, so I have plenty of experience with them. I am also available for regular walks, visits, boarding, etc. I usually run in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays and various times on the weekends. I may be available other times as well. At the moment, I work from home and my schedule is flexible. I live alone in a single bedroom apartment, so it's very quiet. There are lots of grounds nearby for dogs to relieve themselves. I can follow any care instructions you may have for me.

About: Pets (and working animals) have always been in my life. Currently I do have dogs of my own and always have. Moved to the city and sure do miss my goats, chickens and most of all my potbellies that couldn't come 😭 My father was an animal scientist and I've been around animals of all sorts since the day I was born. I'm a stay at home mom with my youngest at 11 years old. My entire day is free! If I'm not caring or playing with a four legged friend or two webbed feet I'm not having fun! Safety for your pet is most important. Playtime would be wherever you request whether it be your own backyard, walked on a leash, dog park or inside playtime. Your pet will be treated with the utmost care with lots of fun with the safety of him/her always in mind.

About: I love dogs of all kinds. I understand the seperation anxiety a dog can experience when their owners are away and will do everything I can to make them feel comfortable. I don't have any children in the house but lots of toys for the four legged babies to play with. My house is very dog friendly with cushie pillows and dogs beds to snuggle in. I provide fleece blankets for the dogs to lay on if they're not comfortable on the pillows or dog beds. Even with a huge fenced backyard, I will always go out with the dogs to play with them and make sure they stay safe. I have two dogs of my own to keep you dog company. Your dog will feel lots of love until you return.

About: On walks, I’ve been known to smile at dogs yet frown at the owners. Not really, but it’s true that seeing pets on walks is my motivation for doing them in the first place. I only have one little pupper (Bella) who is 14 years old! Although she has the energy of a toddler, the way she follows me into any room any time I’m in the house is something I’ll miss when she’s gone. We take walks daily, and I’m careful not to over feed her or harm her in any way. Even though this is my first app, I think the foundation of trust and looking for any signs the lore is showing (as well as my clear communication with pet and owner)

About: I grew up with a black lab and a golden retriever. I often sit a pitbull boxer mix, and am always excited to meet new pets! I work full time. I can offer evening walks and overnight pet sitting or full time on the weekends. I am open to play dates or just walks and feeding visits. I do not plan to open my home to the pets, but have no issue staying at your home for sitting over night. And if you prefer certain dog parks, I am happy to bring them there!

“He was exceptional. I booked last minute and he was able to watch my fur baby Manny. I was able to enjoy time with my family without having to worry about the hotel calling because Manny was alone and barking loudy. I recommend using him.”

About: Always helped neighbors and family’s pets when they were out of town or at work. Provide walks, feeding, giving some love, and attention their pets need while their humans are away. I’m a stay at home mom of two beautiful kiddos. I’d like to keep busy after school drop offs and pickups by helping care for your pet. Our amazing Doberman pincher Bowie is off leash trained. He is also house trained and the most well behaved pup. He’s our family member while also being the best dog keeping us safe by being so alert if a visitor comes. He is kind to all dogs and humans including our kids and other children.

About: I've rescued a cat that I’ve owned for over 5 years, I have experience in dog walking and grooming. I personally love walking in general so being able to walk a dog is something I would enjoy even more. I'm very patient with animals as they need it. I love being able to play with and give them some extra love. I have a part time job so I have a lot of extra free time on my hands! I have a constantly changing work schedule, I am willing to fit your pets into the schedule. I can drop in before work or after work if needed. A typical work day can total up to six hours at most a day, totaling approximately 28 hours a week. (A typical work week doesn't go over 24 hours.) I will make sure to keep feeding, water and medication routine and let them out every three to four hours. If I'm in your house, I will make sure to keep everything as it was. If I use dishes or silverware I will rinse and put in sink or dishwasher (depending). Not forgetting to give your animals extra pets and love.

Olivia S.
“I have watched Olivia around animals for years. She is not just responsible around them, she treats animals with the type of care and concern that all animals so richly merit. There are not many people in who I place complete confidence in to care for my own pets. However, I have done so with Olivia, would do so again, and whole heartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to be sure that their pets are in good, loving hands.”

“Chyrl has cared for my 6 furbabies several times with no issues. My dogs love her and get excited when she comes to care for them. She takes them outside to play, she reprimands as needed (sometimes they get a little too rough when playing), she feeds and waters, she does everything a responsible pet owner should be doing. She loves all dogs (and cats-we have 2) and is a great sitter for our family.”
