About: Hi there! My name is Jen and I want to help you make sure your fur babies are well taken care of and loved while you’re away! I’ve been pet sitting for a few years now and like many started out pet sitting for friends and family. In college, I started working with JN Care for Pets, a DC-based pet care company, where I cared for cats, dogs, and even reptiles! I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs — from small dogs to high-energy large breeds and everything in between. Whether they tug on their leash or can jump to my shoulders, I want to make sure they still get to play outside and go for quality walks while you’re away. In addition to dogs, I’ve had plenty of experience with other animals, too! I have experience with both indoor and outdoor cats. I’ve fostered kittens as young as 4 months old, which included post-spay care for two female kittens. I also currently live at a cat sanctuary for shelter cats that were deemed “unadoptable”, and I frequently assist with feeding, socializing, and general care for both friendly and unfriendly cats. As everyone knows one of the toughest parts of working with cats is medications, and I have experience administering liquid and pill medication to three extremely uncooperative kittens, as well as assisting with flea preventatives for more than 20 cats. I even have experience with reptiles! Just because your pets isn’t a common type, doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve the same level of care as a cat or dog. I’m here to make sure their enclosure maintains proper conditions, they receive any medications needed, and they get their feed worms every night! Whether your pet needs a calm presence, lots of playtime, or special attention to medical needs, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’m a young professional with a full-time day job, but it’s pretty flexible. I’m typically available morning before 8am and evening after 4pm, and on my lunch breaks if you’re in the Dover area. I can shift around my schedule a bit on an as needed basis. I want to make sure your pets have a loving environment while you’re away! I’ll make sure they have consistent access to food, water, medicine, walks, and playtime in line with their routine. I know firsthand how important routines can be for our furry friends, and will make sure they don’t have to lose their routine while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs, I walk them, feed them and bath them if needed. I have taken care of dogs from puppies to senior care and providing medicine. I currently work full time with a variety on my schedule and very flexible, I love spending time with companions. Im passionate about giving the animals undivided attention. In my home I have a chain and an electric fence so my dog is provided the whole yard. I also have a crate if needed. I prefer to do in clients home to reduce the stress on the animal.

About: Hello I’m Sierra Duman and I started on Rover when I was a young college athlete at Wilkes University looking to make a little money and spend time with some fun furry friends. I have grown up with dogs since I was 3 years old. I currently have a 13 year old pit bull here in Delaware that I have raised since she was 13 weeks old. I have volunteered at our local SPCA’s and for my parents friends shelter. I love caring for dogs and I know for some people it can be hard working 9-5 or just working late hours and not being able to let your pup out or to feed it. I’d love to help anyone and everyone take care of their pup, so please consider hiring me for any of your pup needs! I am currently unemployed so it fits in my schedule at all times. I am currently looking for a job but when I get one I will update that on here! I have lots of roaming space in my back yard or and plenty of toys. I always bring my dog outside with me whenever I tend to our other animals. She’s on a feeding schedule to maintain her weight. And she is very much so loved.

About: I have taken care of animals from as large as a horse, steer, and mama pigs to as little as goldfish, turtles, and stray kittens! I am currently a nursing student so I am in the hospital part time. My schedule varies but if I am in the hospital I will let you know how that may affect care if it will affect care at all :) My own animals have a big ole yard with an electric fence as well as a privacy fence on one side of the yard! I live an active lifestyle and often go on walks or hikes with my dog. My own puppy banjo loves to go on runs with me! Keeping your pet safe and happy is a priority! About: I have experience taking care of animals in a general care and critical care setting. I want to do everything in my power to keep you and your fur-babies happy! My availability is very flexible besides class for about two hours 2-3 times a week. Otherwise I have the ability to work around your schedule. I have two dogs of my own that each have different medical and dietary needs. I am comfortable walking and caring for your pets and always have time to address any concerns pet owners have. About: I have 7 pets myself, 2 dogs, and 5 cats, our dogs are 2 years old while we have 2 older cats and 3, 4 month old kittens. I watch my neighbor’s dog a lot and at first she said he dog was aggressive with other dogs but when I introduced her to my dogs it was questionable at first but the warmed up to each other and they get along great! I take care of my pets everyday! For me it depends on the animals routine because each animal is unique! For my cats I clean there litter box everyday and feed them two time once in the morning and at night, we also play! While with the dogs I feed them twice a day once in the morning and at night, walk them twice a day, once in the morning and at night making sure it isn’t too hot out, then we mostly play throughout the day and take regular potty breaks every 2-4 hours! Also making sure things are cleaned up after with vacuuming and making sure toys are picked up! I will treat the pet as if there owner would treat them with much love and attention! My home is a warm and caring environment for all animals!

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

About: I've been taking care of the family dogs and cats since I was a kid. My friends and families dogs always have loved me and have always been trusted to take care of their pets. I have a very flexible work schedule mostly from home. Also a landlord in southern Delaware and am an Airbnb super host in summer. I can work my schedule around days that I'm pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard with in ground swimming pool that's open from April - October. No other animals in the house. Can easily create dog if preferred by owner.
