About: I am available for in home pet care and house sitting, along with plant care, gardening, yard and pool maintenance. I have not completed any sits through Rover yet, but have been a pet sitter with TrustedHousesitters since 2018 and MindMyHouse since 2022. I am available for short and long term in home pet sits anywhere (but depends on where I’m traveling at that time). I am a snowbird and travel South Nov-April. I live in NE Indiana the rest of the year. If I happen to be in your area and don’t need to stay overnight in your home, I’m open to just stopping by and walking them. Just send me a message and we can figure it out. I’m also flexible with dog size and breed, but probably will decline sitting large breeds if we cannot do a meet and greet or they are not trained. I prefer to sit for small-medium breeds, but will sit for large breeds if there’s only one and they are not difficult to walk. I bring over 30 years of experience in house/pet sitting. I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, therefore I have no trouble driving up to 16 hours to do a house sit, depending on where I am at the moment. I have extensive experience with gardening, plant care, and yard maintenance. I worked as a florist for 10 years and have always had a garden and eclectic selection of plants of my own. Finally, I love photography and will most likely send you lots of cute photos of your pets. I work remotely five days a week and am able to be around your pets throughout the day to ensure they have the love and attention that they need. I will care for your pet in your home and can stay up to 1-3 months if I’m traveling. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! About: I have been obsessed with dogs as a child. My parents told me I couldn't get one until I proved I was responsible enough to care for one. After a year of staying on top of the chores and responsibilities my parents gave me. I was finally allowed to go get my puppy and have been involved with dogs ever since! I have now done a 6 week in person dog training course. That came with basic dog first aid and nutrition. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I would love to walk and check in on your pups to make sure they are as happy as can be. When we are not home our youngest pup is in the crate and does great. The older 2 stay in the laundry room and the hall leading to the kitchen with just a gate keeping them in there. They are fed 2 times a day morning and night. They get brushed a lot because of the shedding and they get snuggles on the couch every night. I love training and learning how to train them to do new things.
