“Lidda was wonderful. Callie is a blind geriatric cat with some medical issues that includes daily IV fluids. Lidda made sure Callie had her meds on time and did an excellent job with the daily IV. She fed Callie and made sure her litter was clean. She, also, spent extra time with Callie giving her cuddles and attention, which was very reassuring to me as a cat Mama. She has a warm smile and a loving heart. This was the first time I have ever left Callie with anyone, The general rule is, "If Callie can't go, I don't go." This was just one of those few times when it just wasn't possible for her to go and I had to go. She did such a great job that I will probably be utilizing her services again in a few months. I have full confidence in her and in her care of Callie.”

About: I've had labs, mutts, cats, and even a tarantula in my years of owning pets! I can bathe if they get dirty, and have notoriously been called a cat whisperer by my friends. There's very little that could happen to gross me out or put me off from a pet. To me your pet is a loved family member and I treat them with the respect they deserve! I currently am applying to go back to school so I will need flexibility until i get my set schedule! The amount of time I have is open and can be easily worked around whatever schedules you need! I'm very good about messaging back in a timely manner and marking on calendars ahead of time when I would be unavailable. The only real requirement is if I stay overnight I have to run home at least once a day to feed and care for my own pets! First and foremost I do require meeting a pet before any sitting/checking and walking take place. As a stranger to your pets it’s best they see me when you are present first to make both them and myself more comfortable. I believe in being upfront with people in every way so I also must insist on being told if there are cameras or alarms on the property! No one likes to be jumpscared with those! Also if you have people who come by or have access to the property let me know, so I can let them in. (pest control, cleaning service, etc)I like having a list of what pets need and their preferences; as well as a good vet's number and location on file. I read instructions thoroughly and follow them to a T! I don't cave to begging if they aren't allowed! If provided I will follow training guidelines that you've set to the best of my ability. (for example you're working on no barking, I will also discourage barking!) I unfortunately must say as well any dog bigger than an average labrador(i.e. 70ish pounds) must be at least heel trained if I am to walk them safely; otherwise I will exercise them thoroughly outside instead. I am tiny, and large dogs don’t mesh well with that when untrained! So it's for the best! Please let me know ahead of time what level of communication you’d prefer when away, whether daily or only emergencies! I can take nice photos too, and will only put them on the profile with express permission. I also would prefer but am not required to have a list of their preferred schedule and feeding amounts. Pets are most comfortable when they can stick to a routine. Especially since a stranger in the house is already new! And last but not least if your pet has any quirks or history I’d like to be informed! For example an elderly dog that is kinda grumpy. Or hot spots, sensitive skin, lumps, allergies, bite history, etc.

About: I've been around dogs since childhood, but my two sweet dogs have come into my life in the last few years. Both rescues from different situations, they have taught me so much about how to adapt my care to their specific needs. Feeding times are no problem, as are bathroom breaks and time outside. I'm able to administer medicine as needed. The only limit that I have as far as pet care goes is that I cannot walk larger dogs due to a spinal disability. I can, however, manage dog walks on the small-medium size. I hope that I fit your pet sitter needs and can make friends with your doggo! I work part time in a leadership position in a retail store. My shift are typically in the middle of the day but generally do not last more than 6 hours. I am able to drop in and provide care as needed and stay at a client's house full time on my off days. I have a fenced in backyard that my dogs are free to run around and play in. They never go anywhere without their harnesses and leashes. My cats are indoors only, though sometimes I may take them on the patio if it's sunny out. This is generally the standard I apply to any animal I'm caring for, so that they're in my sight as much as possible.

“Dawn did a great job taking car of Snow and Worm. They had plenty of food and water and the kitty litter box was cleaned each day. Dawn unfortunately did not see the cats as they run and hide when new people come to the house. I would definitely have her back the next time I need to be gone for a few days. About: I have taken care of my families pets, and my neighbors pets since I was 13 years old. Everyone and my neighborhood trusted me to go and feed their fur babies and if need to be, take them for a walk. I am currently working part time, as a certified nursing assistant. So I have very flexible hours and I’m willing to work with your schedule. If your fur baby will be boarding with me, I have one loving dog they can play with and/or I have two very playful cats and a variety of space where they can play.

About: I’ve take care of pets for 9 years ! I have 2 of my own who we love genuinely and are family to us always. Macey and slag. A lab and American bulldog who loves car rides! To find something simple to do to take my kids to do more Is my goal I have 20 acres I can easily crate your dogs if needed and familiar with leashes and feeding. About: I grew up in an animal family with dogs, cats and horses. Sometimes my family questions if our pets need the amount of emotional support that I give them. Trust me they do ;) I am stationed here at Barksdale, AFB. I work M-F 8AM-4PM, but get off around Noon on Fridays. After work and on the weekends, I only have down time for walks and cuddles! Please reach out as I am very flexible and can make most times work! I live in a house in Minden on some land. There’s plenty of fields and woods to run around in with your dogs! But I am more than happy to house sit as well. I am very approachable so please reach out, just don’t shy away when you hear my voice raise a couple octaves around your pets!

About: I’ve taken care of many peoples pets in the past few years. I have three sweet babies of my own and use to work at the Humane Society where my knowledge and live for animals deepened. I can be relied on to walk feed, check in on or watch your fur baby! I am currently a college student and wife that has a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule to care and tend to your pets needs. I also have military base access. I will treat each and every four baby as my own. Trust is so important and I promise to be reliable and dependable for you and your pet when you need me! About: I have been around all types of animals my entire life! I currently have a dog and a gecko who I love with all my heart. I have dog sat for a variety of people, worked at a vet, and have even fostered dogs in the past! I am comfortable with all types of animals and am super flexible! I am currently working at Chimp Haven and am available before and after work to provide the best care of your pets, dogs, cats, or exotics! In my own home I crate dogs while I am gone just to ensure they are safe and comfortable! At your home I can do whatever you need me to do whether it is to walk them, let them out, or even have some play time!

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. There is only one other person living in my home and they are only home after 5 pm. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.

About: I am a junior aquarist at the Shreveport Aquarium and have had reptiles, dogs, cats, a guinea pig, and freshwater fish. I have some vet tech training from college so I have experience in caring for sick animals. I also have moderate experience as a stable hand, and I am comfortable in caring for friendly horses. Im currently working towards a degree in field biology at LSUS. I have afternoons, weekend, and mornings free to help care for pets. I am free on mornings from 6:00-10:00, on Tuesday- Friday after noons from 12:30- 3:30, and Tuesday and Thursday evening from 8:00-11:00, and I’m free on weekends I will feed the the pets, on its normal schedule, take them outside if needed every 4-8 hours, check on them through the the day as needed, love on them and play with them while I am there, and any take care of any special requirements the pet has

About: I enjoy pet sitting, and I love taking care of animals! I am the proud co-owner of two beautiful dogs: Sugar, a Blue Heeler/German Shepherd mix; and Millie, a Chihuahua. I currently do not have a job and are free any time during the week so your pet care is 100% my focus and my attention. I have a big yard for your fur babies to run and play with. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since a little toddler my family has always been big on having our little farm of pets and I wouldn’t ask for it any other way. Pet care fits into my daily routine because after a long day at work or in general looking forward to seeing those cute smiling faces will always make the day so much better. Caring for pets in my home consists of having big back yards, cozy areas for them inside and making sure treats and food bowls are full all the time for them to nibble on.
