“Hayley did a great job with our girls. I can always tell when they are well cared for because when we come home they barely notice we are gone. And they let us know if they are not! :) Hayley kept me well informed and sent pictures. Definitely recommend!”

“Kendra was amazing with my dog Winter! She was a great house guest and cleaned up after herself and beyond. I got several pictures of Winter and prompt replies when I would check in. I will definitely use her every time I need someone to come stay.”

“Allison was amazing!! She provided daily updates and photos of my pets and took great care of my house while I was away! I would recommend her to anyone and trust her to watch my pets again!”

“We have two elderly dogs that need kindness and someone to lay around with them. Vonnie was perfect! She was able to be with them. We will definitely book with her again..”

About: I have had and cared for dogs my entire life. I often dog-sit for friends and family, and I have had 6 foster dogs in the past! I’m familiar with taking care of old dogs and those that need medications as well. I recently finished graduate school and am applying for full-time positions. That being said, I am home a majority of the time to give your dog plenty of attention! I have one small, friendly dog that would keep your pup company! I allow my dog on furniture and do not crate her, so I am willing to care for your dog in the way you prefer (crate, free roam, etc.)
About: My name is Michele. I'm 52. I live in the village of palmyra For many years, I have owned dogs and cats. The majority have been rescues that are special needs. I have also fostered dogs till they are fit for a forever home as well as worked with the local animal hospital to take care of sick dogs till they are ready to go up for Adoption. I also have experience with asthma, chemo and diabetic treatments. I have one dog at this time. He is a 9 years-old Papillon Poodle that is 10 lbs. He is great with other dogs and would be going with me wherever i go. I have sat for families in Illinois ( where I used to live) when they would go out of town as well as stop in visits. I have lived here for 13 years now in Wisconsin and have sat for well over 100 families. My services includes play time, regular car rides, walks or runs, sleep in beds, play time and rarely left alone. I would love to hear about your loved one and how I can help you. Lots and lots of play time! Morning playtime then rest and snuggle time. In the afternoon its back outside. They do go home tired and ready to snuggle! All pups are vaccinated and Poop is cleaned up outside. It's like a dog park experience but safe. Inside the floors and kennels and water fountain are cleaned daily.
“Tami was very concerned that my dog Oliver was taken care of well. Tami did a great job communicating with me with any questions and concerns. I would use her again as my dog sitter.”

I treat my dogs like family I would not do anything to hurt them.
About: I’ve always had a dog within my household. I had a childhood dog when I was two and she lived for 14 years. She taught me a lot about being a dog owner and was the best dog. After losing her my family got two more dogs since it was hard not having a dog, we’ve now had them for 4.5 years. I worked at a petting farm for 3.5 years and had a lot of experience with different animals and also puppies since we had raised puppies there. At the petting farm I also worked with cats and got some experience with them. I currently work at a dog kennel and we also have cats there too. I’ve learned how to fully take care of cats, cleaning litter and the boarding rooms, feeding them, giving them medicine, and grooming them by brushing them or wiping their faces. Overall I know how to work with dogs of all ages and cats, and I love being around either of the two! :) Im currently working a part time job, I will have a lot of availability until around mid May. After May I should be flexible with any day and hours! I also plan on leaving my job in August since the kennel will be shutting down so I can fully commit to the dogs on Rover then! :) I take my dogs on walks as much as I can. My parents mainly take care of them since I am a full time student at UWW and I’m only home on the weekends. I also make sure they have food and water 24/7, I let them out as much as possible since they love being outside too even if it’s not going potty, and I give them a lot of attention anytime I see them. I do spoil my dogs a lot too and I would do the same with any dogs I meet! :)
“Katherine was amazing! She watched my dog in my home for 7 days and went above and beyond the entire time. She kept me updated every day, followed all of my instructions perfectly, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My dog loved her, and I could tell she was well cared for and happy. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Mallory showed up when we needed her the most. We had to leave the next day for a funeral and our usual gal was unavailable. Mallory was responsive and flexible and we are not sure what we would have done without her!!”
About: I have 15+ years of professional pet care experience through shelter, boarding, dog daycare and rescue experience. I previously managed a large scale, highly awarded facility in Madison. I can offer a vast amount of knowledge to make sure your pet not only has a great time while you are away but also is safe and well card for. I offer walks and drop in visits any day of the week. Walks can be in your own neighborhood, at a nearby trail location of your choosing or off leash at my rural home in our 1.75 acre fenced in yard. (Additional travel fees may apply for locations other than your home.) Your pup will come home tired from not only physical exercise but also from mental stimulation as I will encourage them to use their sniffer and their brain with basic obedience. I also offer a limited amount of In-Home Pet Sitting services in customer homes only. I am not able to sleepover in customer homes due to having pets/children of my own but can offer house sitting on a drop in basis and make multiple, extended visits to your home daily at your preferred times. I look forward to meeting your and your pet! I work a part time job that is only in person on Mondays. Every other day of the week my schedule is very flexible for walks, drop ins or pet sitting services. At our meet and greet we will discuss safety protocols for getting your pet inside and outside safety as well as ensure they have a collar/harness setup that is secure for walks.
“Katelyn watched my English Bulldog and Chocolate Lab while I was on vacation for several days. She took great care of my fur babies. She fed them, walked them, let them out several times, and gave them loves and pets. She sent good notes and several pictures and videos throughout the stay.”

“Our dogs absolutely love Brandi. She is so sweet, kind, and especially patient with our shy dog. I’m always comfortable when away as I know our fur babies will be well cared for.”

About: Agnes Mable, my dachshund of 12 years taught me patience better than anyone. I love spending time cuddling, giving belly rubs, sniffling frito feet, & running around the yard chasing them like a screaming banshee. I stay at friends & neighbors houses frequently when they're away to watch their dogs, cats, & fish. I also have friends & neighbors dogs over for weeks at a time. I've been doing this the since moving back to Wisconsin in April 2024. I love taking care of pets like their my own. Once I have a fenced in yard, I will welcome another dachshund into my life, but until then I fill my cup with caring for other's doggos & kitty cats. I'm excited to meet you! Extra treats for pugs & extra belly rubs for the heavy weights that can fetch & return! I work from home & the days I'm traveling for work will be unavailable to book. We'll spend all day together! I've got a spacious yard, large back deck that gets direct sun light for the one's that like to bake, & if they get along with other dogs, sometimes I walk over to my sisters with them to meet my favorite pug, Potato! I live in a duplex on the bottom floor so it's easy in & out, no stairs. My yard is massive with lots of plants & trees to sniff around. I'll always take my fur friends outside on a leash. I do have a small crate available for dogs under 15 pounds, toys, treats, & extra leashes just in case you forget something. Most importantly, I have a big lamby & a small lamby.

FAQs for House Sitting - Hebron
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 692 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Hebron. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Hebron walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Hebron maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hebron choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hebron. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
