“Bill & Mary did a super job in keeping our Toby happy! They sent us pictures everyday, which was very helpful in easing our minds about the care of our Toby. This is the 1st time we have ever used this service. Thankyou Bill and Mary, for doing such a great job in taking care of our Toby!”

“I loved getting the picture updates and seeing Apollo playing with the kids and other dog while we were away. It really helped knowing he was being cared for by a loving family and not just held in a kennel. Thank you so much and I hope you will care for Apollo again.”

“Pam and her family are true dog lovers! My dogs love to come stay here. It’s their home away from home. The backyard is large & fenced. Plenty of space to run & play safely. Pam’s home is dog-friendly & she doesn’t mind sharing the couch or even a bed with cuddly pup. She sends plenty of photos so I can see how they are getting along. She responds quickly & honestly answers all my questions. It’s a wonderful peace of mind to have Pam & her family caring for my Maggie & Beau!”

“Darah took wonderful care of Mysti while I was out of town. Daily updates and photos were sent to me and I could see how content Mysti felt in her home. Will definitely book pet visits with Darah again for future trips trips away from home.”

“Ivy, our 10 month old Great Dane, loved her weekend stay while we had our wedding. She was so exhausted when she got home from her weekend with Cristi! We appreciate you handling our overgrown puppy and for sending me updates during the weekend on how she was doing.”

“Amy was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. She allowed extra time for pickup when our flight got in late. She kept us updated and sent pictures of Blue throughout his stay. I will definitely book with Amy again!”

“Karen is kind, loving, patient and intuitive with the pups. We always know when Karen has our dog she is in exceptional hands. Her home is well positioned for them pups with multiple spaces. An amazing soul.”

About: Your pet is in the best hands with me! I have over 25 years of pet sitting experience which includes part time work with veterinary professionals. We’ll spend our time napping, snacking, and playing in the park. My pet guests are cared for almost all day long. I’m available during day and maintain flexibility with my work schedule. I can accommodate furry friends with small bladders as well as those in need of more day time exercise. I have amble indoor space for your besties to roam and get comfortable. With at least 4 windows pet accessible, my Zoë is able to watch the wildlife by the creek, bark at the neighbors, and sunbathe. Zoë is eager to make new friends but if things get rowdy I have gates, crates, and a large basement for R&R.
“Samantha was excellent! We had a meet and greet ahead of my dog Bleu’s stay, and Samantha was incredibly kind, responsive, patient, and flexible ahead of, during, and after Bleu’s stay. I would highly recommend her for your pet(s)!”

“Kyla was great with Sophie. Sophie is 12 now and needs special care and medications. Kyla was very kind and sweet with her. When we were getting ready to leave, Sophie ran up and gave Kyla some kisses. We will definitely book her again.”

“Jodi and Reya are great to work with! They cared for our two senior citizen dogs for a week. We received lots of photos and updates that put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our time away. Both dogs returned home calm and happy! We would recommend them and would be very happy to work with them again!”

“Jennifer is absolutely AMAZING! While I was cruising last week for my birthday, she took incredible care of my dog Cash, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me updated with photos and videos, which gave me total peace of mind and showed just how much fun Cash was having. It truly felt like Cash became part of her family — a real home away from home. They played games, spent quality time together, and it was obvious he was loved and well cared for every single day. I’m so grateful to Jen and her family for their warmth, hospitality, and genuine care. Jennifer goes above and beyond to meet (and exceed!) expectations. She’s fantastic with animals, attentive, and incredibly kind. For any dog sitting, boarding, or pet care needs, I highly recommend Jen without hesitation. She is absolutely the best! 🐾💙”

“Elizabeth is great! My dog Calypso stayed with her for an extended weekend and Elizabeth updated me each day. Definitely will return😊Thanks again!”

“Taylor was absolutely amazing with Osa, I went from feeling scared of leaving Osa to feeling comfortable Osa was taken care of. Her response time was almost instant for the entirety of Osa's stay, and she was so flexible when I needed to add pick up and drop off for unexpected events! Taylor, thank you so much for making this one less thing for me to worry about during my travel!”

“Rene was great with Meadow, who requires lots of exercise and attention and very accommodating when my schedule changed a bit. Loving pet sitter for our girl with lots of space for her to run and a loving family to give her lots of cuddles and attention. Would recommend!”

Jill and her family are amazing. I was nervous about leaving my fur babies with someone they didn’t know. But Jill and her family took care of them as their own. Tonight I booked them again and my dogs went right in and seemed to be at home. I highly recommend her for your fur baby

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
