About: Hello! With 6 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, I'm experienced in caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I'm attentive to behavior, body language, and routines, ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My family and friends have entrusted me to care for their young pets as well as their older ones. I currently have a Rottweiler, a Yorkie, and 4 cats (I've even had a hedgehog for many years), so I don't shy away from many animals! My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to provide pet care throughout the week. I make sure to keep my calendar up to date! I understand feeling anxious entrusting your pet to a stranger, but I'll do everything I can to make your pet feel as loved as possible. I'll make sure your pet gets their steps in (if dog walking). The water bowl will never run dry, and I will diligently handle client requests to make sure their pet is as comfortable as possible.
About: I’ve spent the last 22 years rescuing and rehabbing abandoned cats and dogs. I’ve also provided reliable, loving pet sitting and boarding for 19 years. That depth of experience has taught me one thing above all: every animal is different—and every one deserves care that honors who they are. From high-energy pups to anxious seniors, from playful kittens to quiet, special-needs cats—I meet them where they are. I learn their rhythms, their unique needs, and what makes them feel safe. Whether it’s a calm brushing session, an energetic walk, or just giving them space to warm up, I offer a steady, attentive presence. I’m experienced with administering oral and topical medications, and yes—I take deep-cleaning litter boxes seriously. I don’t just show up. I build trust. I believe great pet care is rooted in connection, consistency, and showing each pet that they’re loved and valued. And while you’re away, I’ll keep you in the loop with updates that feel like they’re from a trusted friend. I work full-time in dog and cat care, which means your pets get my full attention, time, and heart every day that you need it. I currently don’t offer care in my home, but I’m happy to come to yours—where your pets feel safest and most comfortable. I follow your routines closely, keep things calm and familiar, and always respect your space. Whether it’s locking up securely, cleaning up thoroughly, or taking notes on your pet’s preferences, I treat your home and animals with the same care I’d want for my own. Safety and trust are everything to me, and I’m committed to providing a peaceful, dependable presence you and your pets can count on.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
