About: I've had my own dogs, and sometimes cats, since my early teens. I love giving consistent, caring attention to both the sensitive and the rambunctious personalities I may discover in people's pets. I empathize with those who must part from their pets for a few days and I realize they need to know for certain that their furry friend will be with a loving person who can give meaningful attention. A "meet and greet" session is encouraged and well worth the time before an owner leaves their pet in my care the first time. The viewing of all parties behavior during such a session is so valuable in determining if we have the proper selection made for the pet's benefit. I am not working at all besides pet care. Though I have many activities outside the home, there are hardly that are required. So I can usually schedule pet care if I'm not on vacation. All boarded animals will be under my caring eye, and inside my home, unless I am walking them outdoors. I have one 15 year old dog who has never met a dog he can't get along with, but usually just sleeps through the day. I do not crate my dog, but if you yours is happier crated, that will work fine. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds, so owner provision of a bed or homing blanket is ideal.

About: I've been exposed to all kinds of different animals of different levels of training with my Pre-Vet education and am more than experienced with teaching and basic training skills I'm currently a full time Pre-Vet/Equine Science double major, looking for a good way to earn some money while still being able to balance my school work. I love animals and am hoping to spend time around animals while still being able to make a little money. I am well experienced with many different kinds of dogs and will be able to provide my own materials such as treats and leashes to be able to well love animals of any need!

About: While I do not currently own a dog, I have had dogs since I was 4, and been responsible for them since around 12. I know how to read their body language and engage with them in ways that respect their needs and boundaries! I have over 100 hours of vet internships! While it is now lapsed I also had an AVA designation, and it's only lapsed because I've been focused on a degree in wildlife biology at school. Around the age of 16 I took over complete care of my dogs, including my elderly dog. I brought them to their first vet appointments, payed their vet bills, made important decisions regarding surgery and care, and insured their food was good quality. I can give medication and take temperature on both dogs and cats. I have lots of experience In reading body language and know when to step away and when to engage. I also have extensive experience in reptile care! Overall I'm responsible, engaged, and respectful of both my pets and others pets. I take health very seriously and can follow instructions to a T. I am currently attending Murray State University and am looking to bolster my income while enjoying all the perks of caring for animals! It isn't all about the money. I do genuinely adore visiting and connecting to pets and I know the struggle it can be to find someone you trust to leave your pet to! I'm hear to be a trustworthy adult you can rely on. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your little one alone as a pet owner myself. I have to travel often for boat races as I'm on my schools rowing team, and I don't know what I would do without my closest friends! I'm here for you and your pet, always! Currently I have one pet, my cat bandit. He's my first pet as an adult and I did all the research, adopting processes, and recourse gathering myself! He's fed on a 3 meal cycle throughout the day and his food is based on extensive research into a cats dietary needs and restrictions. I am very strict about his treatment. His boundaries are to always be respected and he's always handled with care! Absolutely no throwing/tossing him, no hitting, no shoving. If he doesn't want to be held he doesn't get held, if he wants space he gets space. He's the king of our castle. Others pets are shown this same level of respect from me. I take feeding guidelines very seriously and understand the importance of play and stimulation In keeping a critter happy and healthy.

About: I have taken care of my own dog since we have got her, aswell as dog sitting for others, or doing pop in checks since I have been able to drive! I have taken care of dogs all sizes and ages! I am currently enrolled in classes at Murray State, however I am not in classes for longer than 2 hours everyday, so I have plenty of time every morning, afternoon, and night to care for animals or homes! I live in dorms at Murray State, so I am unable to bring any animals into my dorm. However I am more than able to drive to your home to care for your animals, whether it is walking them, feeding them, bathing them, or simply putting them in a crate for you!

About: Hi! My name is Cassi, and animals have been a huge part of my life for over 5 years. I have experience caring for animals in veterinary clinics, emergency medicine, and animal shelters, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities! I currently work at a veterinary clinic in Benton as a veterinary technician, and I have also worked in an emergency veterinary clinic as a technician and at an animal shelter where I cared for a wide variety of animals. Because of my veterinary experience, I’m comfortable recognizing when something seems “off” and know how to safely care for pets with medical or special needs. One of my biggest strengths is caring for pets who require medications or extra attention. I’m experienced with administering oral medications, injections, and insulin, and I’m comfortable following detailed medication schedules and special care instructions. I also have a soft spot for senior pets! I personally cared for my senior hound who was diabetic, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and extra care can be for older pets. I’m also very comfortable with anxious, shy, or more difficult pets. Working in veterinary medicine and animal shelters has taught me that every animal is different. Whether your pet is a happy-go-lucky dog who wants to play all day, a nervous pup who needs some time to warm up, or a shy kitty who prefers to hide and observe, I’m happy to meet them where they are and give them the care they’re comfortable with. I have plenty of experience with dogs as well! While working at the shelter, I regularly took dogs on walks and hikes, played with them, and worked with dogs with all kinds of temperaments. I love getting outside, going for walks, playing, and making sure pets get the exercise and enrichment they need. I also have a young Beagle puppy of my own, Maisie, who is very friendly and would love a playmate! If your dog enjoys other dogs and you’re comfortable with it, Maisie can tag along for walks or visits. Of course, this is completely optional and I’m happy to provide one-on-one care if your pet would prefer to have me all to themselves. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. I also understand how reassuring it is to know how your pet is doing while you’re gone, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout my visits. Whether your pet needs a simple potty break and some playtime, a long walk, medication, senior care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I would love the opportunity to care for them! Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them like my own. ❤️🐾 I am currently in school and work at a veterinary clinic part time but I am mostly free in the mornings and late afternoons. I am free most weekends. My schedule can vary so we can 100% work out times that work for you! I care for every pet according to their individual routine, personality, and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. This includes following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications, and plenty of attention and companionship. I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions and caring for pets with special needs, including senior pets and pets requiring medications or insulin injections. I also understand that some pets are nervous or anxious around new people, so I’m patient and allow them to warm up to me at their own pace. About: I grew up around dogs and always have had a special bond with them. I currently have a seven-year-old Aussie that I raised and trained myself. I currently have a full-time job so I’m more free on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. But I still have availability during the week just limited. My dog has a big fenced in area with an indoor and outdoor part, but she sleeps inside with me. I’m very well educated with moving dogs to pens or whatever needed.
