About: I've had my own dogs, and sometimes cats, since my early teens. I love giving consistent, caring attention to both the sensitive and the rambunctious personalities I may discover in people's pets. I empathize with those who must part from their pets for a few days and I realize they need to know for certain that their furry friend will be with a loving person who can give meaningful attention. A "meet and greet" session is encouraged and well worth the time before an owner leaves their pet in my care the first time. The viewing of all parties behavior during such a session is so valuable in determining if we have the proper selection made for the pet's benefit. I am not working at all besides pet care. Though I have many activities outside the home, there are hardly that are required. So I can usually schedule pet care if I'm not on vacation. All boarded animals will be under my caring eye, and inside my home, unless I am walking them outdoors. I have one 15 year old dog who has never met a dog he can't get along with, but usually just sleeps through the day. I do not crate my dog, but if you yours is happier crated, that will work fine. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds, so owner provision of a bed or homing blanket is ideal.
“Tara is a fantastic sitter! She took great care of our cats while we were out of town for the holidays. She is prompt, communicative, kind, and professional in all her interactions. This was our first time ever using Rover so we were a tad nervous to book, but as soon as we met Tara we knew it was a great fit! We will definitely be booking Tara to watch our cats on our future trips.”

“Absolutely loved having you take care of Tukoma while we were gone. You truly take amazing pics of him as well which we all enjoyed. I’m so glad you were available and accommodating during the times requested. I will definitely be sure to request you again! Thank you!”

“I didn’t worry about my cats at all, I knew that they were in very capable hands. Bree was able to get them to come out of hiding and interact with them. She’s wonderful and I highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for 26 years, and I have raised one by myself for the last 6 years. I love fur babies and want them to all feel loved. I have a very flexible work schedule and am able to take on jobs pretty much daily. Sometimes I do travel home, but that is not often. I can / will do anything you need from easily crating your dog, to playing with them and providing care to them. Feeding them, playing with them, just giving them company are all things I can do.
“Haley was amazing with our two kitties! We had some very detailed instructions and she followed everything to a T. She provided clear constant communication while we were away and we felt our kitties were in great hands. Would definitely book again, thank you Haley!”

I am available weekdays after 2pm and all day on the weekend. In my home I am often very interactive with my animals, and I keep a wide variety of treats and toys for entertainment. My apartment is spacious and has a private backyard. I always keep a neat and orderly home to prevent accidents. About: Hello! It's so great to meet you! I'm so glad you're considering Pawsome Pet Care for your furry family's needs! I am a college student who absolutely adores animals. I have grown up on a farm with cattle, sheep, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, and of course dogs and cats. I have had 2 sets of puppies that I helped care for and train for their new families and a litter of kittens as well. I have cared for animals of all ages including newborns all the way over 15 years old. I have 6 years of official petsitting experience, but I have almost 20 years of experience as a pet owner. I have also owned a chameleon and a turtle and cared for a bearded dragon and a snake. I do work 6:45am to 3:45pm daily in Murray, KY. I do get an hour for lunch so if the home is local I would be able to go back at lunch to care for the animal if needed. My weekends are open so long as im not already booked! Thanks again for the consideration! Pet care has always been a part of my daily routine. I have had animals my entire life so feeding, walking, playing with, and loving my animals has always been a constant for me. Doing pet sitting is no adjustment for me because it's been my entire life. I love caring for animals. I cannot care for animals in my home because my Great Dane gets very stressed out when new animals come to the house. That being said, I have a great support system to take care of my babies while I take care of yours. So, I am more than happy to come to your home and keep your babies in a space they feel comfortable. I will keep them on the same routine they are used to so that the transition is as seamless as possible. Being sure to throw in some extra love and understanding along the way.
About: I lived on a farm as a child where we were responsible for dogs, cats, cows, horses, goats, etc. I currently have a labradoodle who has been with me for 5 years. I enjoy taking care of pets basic needs also with providing exercise for them such as long walks, runs or games of ball or frisbee. I work full time but am available until 7:30 AM, lunch time and evenings after 5:30. While I do have a busy schedule between work, church, and grandkids, I am a perfect solution for someone who needs a house sitter and can feed, water and exercise pets daily along with giving them attention. I am available to stay with your dog in the comfort of their own home. This seems to work especially well for pets with anxiety. I am physically able to help your pets get the exercise they need through walks and play time outside. I have a relaxed and quite demeanor and enjoy the companionship offered by pets.
About: I am currently studying at Murray State University for my Vet Technician Degree! I have several years of experience working as a Vet’s assistant, and volunteer hours at local shelters. I will come in as often as I can, I am more flexible on weekends but during the week I can come in about 2-3 times a day to care for your pet. I live in an apartment so I can’t pet sit large dogs in my own home. I have pet sat several times at other people’s homes.
About: While I do not currently own a dog, I have had dogs since I was 4, and been responsible for them since around 12. I know how to read their body language and engage with them in ways that respect their needs and boundaries! I have over 100 hours of vet internships! While it is now lapsed I also had an AVA designation, and it's only lapsed because I've been focused on a degree in wildlife biology at school. Around the age of 16 I took over complete care of my dogs, including my elderly dog. I brought them to their first vet appointments, payed their vet bills, made important decisions regarding surgery and care, and insured their food was good quality. I can give medication and take temperature on both dogs and cats. I have lots of experience In reading body language and know when to step away and when to engage. I also have extensive experience in reptile care! Overall I'm responsible, engaged, and respectful of both my pets and others pets. I take health very seriously and can follow instructions to a T. I am currently attending Murray State University and am looking to bolster my income while enjoying all the perks of caring for animals! It isn't all about the money. I do genuinely adore visiting and connecting to pets and I know the struggle it can be to find someone you trust to leave your pet to! I'm hear to be a trustworthy adult you can rely on. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your little one alone as a pet owner myself. I have to travel often for boat races as I'm on my schools rowing team, and I don't know what I would do without my closest friends! I'm here for you and your pet, always! Currently I have one pet, my cat bandit. He's my first pet as an adult and I did all the research, adopting processes, and recourse gathering myself! He's fed on a 3 meal cycle throughout the day and his food is based on extensive research into a cats dietary needs and restrictions. I am very strict about his treatment. His boundaries are to always be respected and he's always handled with care! Absolutely no throwing/tossing him, no hitting, no shoving. If he doesn't want to be held he doesn't get held, if he wants space he gets space. He's the king of our castle. Others pets are shown this same level of respect from me. I take feeding guidelines very seriously and understand the importance of play and stimulation In keeping a critter happy and healthy.
