About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, horses and turtles. I have pet/house sit since I was 14. I have experience with all ages and needs. Whether you have a high energy pet that requires long walks and a lot of playing, or a pet that just needs lots of company, I am happy to meet their needs. I love all animals and want to ensure they are having the best days in my care. Pet Care is my full time job. Every pet has different needs and I adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets in my care. I will follow any instructions you leave for care. I know it is hard to leave your fur baby and will try and keep the care as consistent as if you were there. I will let dogs out frequently and provide walks. I am happy to send pictures and updates. If permitted, I am happy to bring your fur babies with me to the beach, on hikes or just cruise. If your dog needs socializing work, I will take them to dog parks.

About: Had a family dog at my dad growing up. Always had cats around. Had a some pet rats and fish throughout the years. Been learning a lot in the months now that I’ve rescued my dog. Would combine caring for your dog with my own. Love going on walks and hike along with lounging around. Like to help out other fellow dogs and their owners because been finding out work with a furry loved one at home is not always ideal. About: I have taken care of puppies/dogs from a young age and have always loved animals. I grew up with fish and turtles as well! We have a Shih Tzu Maltese mix that is friendly to all fur babies and humans. I am very reliable, punctual, and have always followed through with everything that I do. Rest assured that your fur baby will be safe with me. I have decided to follow my passion in life. With that, I took a leap of faith and decided to do what I truly love, which is caring for animals on a full-time basis! Hours are from 6 am-6 pm for doggy day care. We have a house with a completely fenced in and gated yard so your fur babies can roam around freely! I vacuum on the daily as well! We do have split ac units in almost every room. In addition, we maintain our property with pesticides that are safe for dogs in our yard to prevent fleas, ticks, and heart worm. To ensure a safe environment, we expect that your dog is on flea, tick, and heart worm medicine and are up-to-date with all vaccines.

About: I’m very patient and allow animals to introduce themselves to me instead of forcing an interaction. I love seeing all the different personalities that animals have and learning what their special love language is. I’m currently living in HPP in Keaau and I am willing to travel island wide for house sitting. I work remotely so I need reliable internet but I am available to be home with your pet most of the day. I have a little dog with a warrior spirit. We are willing to do a meet and great if you think I can bring my dog for house sitting. If you’d rather I don’t bring my dog, I can manage that too. He’s used to playing with large dogs including pit bulls and poodles/doodles. Feel free to reach out and ask questions. I am willing to just let your dogs out and feed them but I am also willing to be present day and night if requested. Just let me know your expectations.

About: I am a very caring and loving person especially when it comes to animals. I raised my two golden retriever girls from their puppy age so I am quite experienced in providing what’s needed for new pups. I also understand how stressful it is for new pup parents wanting to make sure that their pup get taken care of when they are away. I’d love to provide help especially for new pup parent. I walk my two 50lbs+ goldens together everyday so I am totally capable of taking care of larger and/or energetic dogs. I am also very attentive to details and am willing to meet up and communicate any special needs before your booking and/or during my visit. I’m working remotely most of the times and can accommodate your schedule with short notice. I am open for booking in the mornings and late afternoon, early night visits. I have two friendly golden retrievers and a small fenced backyard. There are lots of grassy areas in my neighborhood so I can take walks easily. There is a dog park nearby so I can take your pup for additional exercise when needed.

About: I am a healthcare worker transitioning out of the medical field and into a different career and role of care. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life with a specialty in senior dog care. We lost both of our senior dogs (one at 13, & one at 14 wonderful years) within a year of each other two years ago. Molly, our Border Collie was diagnosed with a blood disorder at age 8 which brought a lot of hospital visits, special needs, patience, and medication schedules. I have a special place in my heart for senior care. I have experience with rescues, senior animals, small dogs, timid dogs, and dogs that require a lot of exercise. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds, from Chihuahua's to German Short Hair Pointers to Cane Corsos, and all mixed breeds. From dog walking, overnight sitting, feeding, medication administration; all led with love, trust and reliability. About: Hello! My name is Shelby, my #1 passion is Dogs. I have had a Dog my entire life and would love to watch your Dog(s) for you. I'm from Seattle, WA but I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Your Dog will love staying at my place, 3 acres in Hawaiian Acres, partially fenced with our friendly companion pups named Stinkaroo and Koa. "Stink" is a 50 lb rescue dog, Pitbull,Catahoula & Blue Heeler mix who is currently 4 years old, very friendly and submissive. Koa is a pitbull mix who is 2-1/2years old, also very friendly and has lots of energy. We also have an older pup who we rescued off the street. His name is Zeus and hes about 7 years old. He a bit of a mutt chihuahua, terrier mix. Zeus is smaller about 14 pounds, he is friendly but also can be a grumpy old man, very mellow. We lost 2 of our elder Dogs in 2019 to Cancer. Having new friends come and stay would be a joyful experience for all of us! Myself and my Husband both work from home, so we have lots of time to watch after your Dog and will never be left alone. For overnight visits, we are glad to send you pictures and updates Daily. We also offer drop offs and pick ups. Our Dogs sleep inside on a Dog bed or in our Bed. We do not chain up Dogs and prefer not to watch dogs that need to be chained up. We allow our Pup on the couch, but we are glad to follow all your house rules. If you have any questions, just ask! We'd love to do a meet & greet so we can make sure we're a right fit for you. Keaau, Kurtistown, and Pahoa are all 10 minutes from us. My husband and I work from home so we will have plenty of time to play with your pup, take walks, and potty breaks etc. We have a partially fenced in front yard, as well as a gate on our lanai so your pup can enjoy the nice weather safely. Anytime your pup is with us it will never be alone and will always be on leash when we go for walks, potty breaks etc. Our pups will also be here to keep yours company and happy. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility when I am watching your pup. Potty break, walks, play time, out of the house adventures etc. I have raised a lot of pups, I am more than happy to follow certain rules/routines or any restrictions you may have for your pet regardless if they are in my home or at their own.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats every since I can remember. I have experience training puppies, raising kind pit bulls and taken care of elderly animals gently and compassionately with lots of love. I own a yoga business and substitute teach in Pahoa. I teach Yoga classes a couple of days a week. I substitute teach 2-3 days a week during the school year. I spend time homesteading when I am not working. I have more than enough time to share with a fur baby or 4!!! I have a 1/4 acre with plenty of room for animals to enjoy. I can walk the dogs around the yard and the neighborhood. They would be treated like family. My home is my sanctuary. My home very peaceful, quiet and serene. I love to play with animals. I have a spoiled kitty that hangs out in the gardens with me.

About: Aloha- Here, at our home, we have 3 dogs (listed in my profile). Also, a retired Lana'i School teacher (a regular pro-dog walker too!); and now 4 outdoor cats that have adopted us. They come and go as they please 🤷 I have decades caring for fur babies, both dogs & cats. Aside from my own babies, I was previously employed as a care provider at the Lana'i Animal Rescue Center on the island of Lana'i (previously L.A.R.C., now Lana'i Cat Sanctuary). Additionally, on Lana'i, I did in-home sitting for cats, dogs, and was one of only a handful of foster dog moms on the island. This was also in cooperation with L.A.R.C. In the 90s I was a grooming assistant, so I don't mind giving baths, if that is something you desire for your dog. We are also familiar with giving meds over here, and certainly don't mind working with specialized diets, ages & needs. As a mom, I know these are our kids with individual personalities and needs. I'm here to meet those needs with love, cuddles & kindness (and Play!). For Home Sitting & Boarding: Right now my hours are open, if that changes, I will immediately update. When I am hired to care for an animal, I do just that, so my schedule will revolve around the animal in my care. 1st priority always. I encourage you to make a list of things you might want me to know about your baby. I keep a comfortable & reliable routine so visiting dogs know what to expect and that they're safe. Walks can be a nice bonding activity: Most important is one-on-one attention & playtime. My own dogs are kept separate; in an entirely separate part of the house. My doggie guests have their own large, private room with its own entrance and an adjacent outdoor covered deck/lanai for lounging in the sun & watching neighborhood activities. About: I’ve taken care of my own animals and others since a young age. I’ve pet sat and walked many different dogs. I love all animals overall. I currently am attending college and want a part time job walking dogs. While i’m not in class or doing homework, I have no reason not to spend time with them! I have pet sat for a family friend with a daily routine of feeding playing and giving all my attention to their dog. At home I have a fenced yard with two dogs. However, at the dorm, I don’t have much space to take care of animals outside of walking them.

About: For the last 2 years I’ve owned and operated a dog daycare and boarding business from my home. I have a fully fenced acre that is mostly grass (not lava) for dogs to come learn, play, and be safe! I also do drop-in visits, and sometimes offer house sitting, at your house for animals that need to stay home. I also have a produce farm here at my property so I am usually outside. Dogs are welcome to come inside and outside as they please. I practice positive reinforcement training at all times. I am interacting with the animals. They will not be left alone or be lonely while they are here. Your dog will go home tired, socialized, and happy! I do not have kennels. If a dog uses a crate at home, I will ask that you bring their “house” with them. This ensures that they have a safe and familiar place to be while they are here. If they do not have a kennel, it’s important that you bring their bed, so they have their own smells and place to rest while at my place. I have 2 resident dogs and a cat who love to have friends over! Cat can be separated if needed. I prefer to have potty trained and well behaved dogs at my house. I can not accept aggressive dogs as I have my own animals here to keep safe. Please reach out with any questions! I look forward to meeting you soon. I typically schedule my own day around dog needs. I am up early and can be available on weekends and evenings. I will accommodate your schedule as needed. Occasional holiday availability. I have a fully fenced yard that is 80% grass and 2 friendly dog fur babies and 1 cat at home. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have an air conditioned room that dogs can go into and be alone if they need some down time. I often play calming music and keep healthy treats on hand (I will have an allergy discussion with every booking!)

About: I have cared from dogs that need extensive exercise, like Dobermans, to dogs that need to be taken care of properly, such as English Bulldogs. I love animals and would like to assist you to know that your loved one is in good hands. I can follow any special instructions or even try to correct any problem behaviors your dog may have. I have helped owners with dogs that may have issues with aggression, trauma, or health issues. I live on a large property in Opihikao and I work from home.
