About: I've had labs, mutts, cats, and even a tarantula in my years of owning pets! I can bathe if they get dirty, and have notoriously been called a cat whisperer by my friends. There's very little that could happen to gross me out or put me off from a pet. To me your pet is a loved family member and I treat them with the respect they deserve! I currently am applying to go back to school so I will need flexibility until i get my set schedule! The amount of time I have is open and can be easily worked around whatever schedules you need! I'm very good about messaging back in a timely manner and marking on calendars ahead of time when I would be unavailable. The only real requirement is if I stay overnight I have to run home at least once a day to feed and care for my own pets! First and foremost I do require meeting a pet before any sitting/checking and walking take place. As a stranger to your pets it’s best they see me when you are present first to make both them and myself more comfortable. I believe in being upfront with people in every way so I also must insist on being told if there are cameras or alarms on the property! No one likes to be jumpscared with those! Also if you have people who come by or have access to the property let me know, so I can let them in. (pest control, cleaning service, etc)I like having a list of what pets need and their preferences; as well as a good vet's number and location on file. I read instructions thoroughly and follow them to a T! I don't cave to begging if they aren't allowed! If provided I will follow training guidelines that you've set to the best of my ability. (for example you're working on no barking, I will also discourage barking!) I unfortunately must say as well any dog bigger than an average labrador(i.e. 70ish pounds) must be at least heel trained if I am to walk them safely; otherwise I will exercise them thoroughly outside instead. I am tiny, and large dogs don’t mesh well with that when untrained! So it's for the best! Please let me know ahead of time what level of communication you’d prefer when away, whether daily or only emergencies! I can take nice photos too, and will only put them on the profile with express permission. I also would prefer but am not required to have a list of their preferred schedule and feeding amounts. Pets are most comfortable when they can stick to a routine. Especially since a stranger in the house is already new! And last but not least if your pet has any quirks or history I’d like to be informed! For example an elderly dog that is kinda grumpy. Or hot spots, sensitive skin, lumps, allergies, bite history, etc.

About: By working in the veterinary industry for about 9 years as well as completing 8 years of veterinary schooling, I have a lot of experience with animals of all sizes and breeds. I’m happy to walk, feed, play and administer medications to your pet if needed! I am currently studying for my veterinary board exam and I am confident your pet care schedule can be worked into my study schedule easily! I am very aware and detail oriented when it comes to being trusted in someone else’s home and while caring for their pets. Instructions or a check list is always appreciated!

“Lidda was wonderful. Callie is a blind geriatric cat with some medical issues that includes daily IV fluids. Lidda made sure Callie had her meds on time and did an excellent job with the daily IV. She fed Callie and made sure her litter was clean. She, also, spent extra time with Callie giving her cuddles and attention, which was very reassuring to me as a cat Mama. She has a warm smile and a loving heart. This was the first time I have ever left Callie with anyone, The general rule is, "If Callie can't go, I don't go." This was just one of those few times when it just wasn't possible for her to go and I had to go. She did such a great job that I will probably be utilizing her services again in a few months. I have full confidence in her and in her care of Callie.”

“Dawn did a great job taking car of Snow and Worm. They had plenty of food and water and the kitty litter box was cleaned each day. Dawn unfortunately did not see the cats as they run and hide when new people come to the house. I would definitely have her back the next time I need to be gone for a few days. About: I’ve been taking care of animals, big and small for the past 3 years. I have bathed the biggest of dogs and cuddled the smallest of hamsters. I will make sure your pet has everything they need to feel comfortable! I am in the active military so I have time to play with your animals any time after 4:30 pm on weekdays and all day and night on the weekend! I live on base which has a dog park as well as walking/biking trails so your pets can get great exercise while having other little friends to keep them company!

About: I am an animal lover that has taken care of domestic animals my whole life. My family fostered dogs and cats throughout my childhood and I have learned about the proper care for animals while working at veterinary clinics. My mother has also opened up an animal rescue in Mount Ayr within the last couple of years, where I help at when I visit her. I currently have a dog of my own who I spoil like crazy. I also pet sit for a few of my coworkers, and have pet sit a variety of animal types, including small, medium and large dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs/hamsters. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and I’ve been taking care of other people’s animals since elementary school. I want to hang out with your “weird pets”! Dogs and cats have such unique and wonderful personalities and needs, and I would be honored to get to know them and take care of them for you! I have plenty of free time right now to hang out with your critters. I cannot keep your pets at my house, unfortunately, but I’m more than willing to come to yours! Historically I have spent the night at the pet’s house if the need arose, or made multiple daily visits for a few hours each time. It depends on the circumstances.
