However she was so patient with him until he got comfortable enough to greet her and became the sweetest little boy with her as he is with the family. I am able to administer medicine, bathe the fur babies, run and play with the doggies, and even groom your loved ones. I will make sure your loved ones are happy and healthy while in my care. About: As a former zookeeper, I have been able to care for and work with so many animals beyond just cats and dogs: owls, macaws, sloths, flamingos, anteaters, reptiles of all shapes and sizes! That being said, I have always been a dog person and have taken care of other people's pets since I was 15. That particular part of my resume (dog sitting and walking) spans from walking pairs of huskies through the suburbs of Charlotte as a teenager, to walking guest's french bull dogs and what-have-you at the RV park I worked at in Wyoming! I am available for drop-ins and walks, and potentially pet sitting if they are able to stay at my house (2 acres, spacious interior, 2 welcoming dogs). My own property is 2 acres and not fenced in, which is fine for my 2 boys who stay with me, but I would keep a client's dog on a long leash and on me at all times. My house is very dog friendly and I have a crate, doggie gate, lots of water dishes, and plenty of beds and toys.
