“Lizdalia and her family were amazing. She came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. My dogs were so happy and adjusted well to her home. She will definitely be my go to person for my furry sons. 🤗”
“Heidi was amazing! We were nervous leaving Jarvis with someone new and she made the experience so easy and comforting. She kept us updated with pictures and how he was adjusting. This was a stepping stone to a much longer stay coming up. We will be booking with Heidi and are blessed to have found her. Jarvis took to her right away and and enjoyed his time with her puppers and family.”
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lori and the care she has given my puppy, Frankie. From the moment I dropped him off, she made me feel completely comfortable and reassured that he was in great hands. She kept me updated daily with messages and pictures of his activities, and it was clear that Frankie was happy, relaxed, and truly enjoying himself — he looked like he was right at home. What meant the most to me was her kindness and flexibility during a very stressful time for me. I am currently in the hospital recovering from back surgery, and at the last minute my doctor told me I needed to stay another night. I reached out to Lori hoping it wouldn’t be a problem, and she immediately reassured me not to worry and that Frankie was perfectly fine staying another night. That simple kindness gave me so much peace of mind while I’m here recovering. Lori has been so attentive and loving with him — honestly, she spoiled him! It means the world to know that Frankie is being cared for and shown the same love and attention that I give him at home. I am incredibly grateful for Lori. Frankie absolutely has a permanent sitter whenever we need one in the future, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants their pet cared for like family.”
“Michele was an excellent sitter for my 2 Shih Tzu’s. She communicated very well and gave me timely updates. She also made sure to follow all the care instructions I provided. I would recommend Michele and will be rebooking with her.”
“We are so happy with the care Norma and Luke provide for our dog. She always looks so happy in the many photos or videos we see during the visit. We have had many stays with them and all have been wonderfully successful.”
“Loved Veronica! She took good care of my Chika even when she wasn’t feeling well and provided everything that she needed. Definitely will book another stay with her ☺️☺️”
“Langston was awesome! I was nervous about leaving my pup for a week but Langston and Moscoe were wonderful hosts and made my pup feel welcome! Langston provided ple ty of pictures and updates and even cleaned my boy up before I picked him up! Will definitely book in the future!”
“Gabrielle was truly the perfect match for my Belle! I really love how accommodating and attentive she was during Belle’s entire stay. This is the first time I’ve seen Belle truly blossom when she returned back to me. Not only was her service 10/10, but her space was beautiful and tidy! Belle has severe anxiety, but she was so comfortable and even playing during her stay. I will definitely recommend Gabrielle’s services and will be returning!”
“Ken took amazing care of Major. This was our first time using anything other than the kennel and it won’t be our last. Ken cared for Major as if he were his own. The pictures and videos made me feel comfortable during my time away.”
About: Hello, I grew up on a farm in Ohio with cows, horses, chickens, cats and of course dogs. I have had pets my entire life. I've raised four children and we ran the gauntlet of pets from snakes and lizards to birds and fish. Presently I am employed at a Vet Clinic, where I worked in the kennel for a year. I now help out in treatment and monitoring in surgery. I have been employed there going on four years. I recently lost two of my geriatric pets which broke my heart but I still have two geriatric cats at home(One that I inherited from my mom). I can't imagine ever being without a pet. They bring so much joy. Thank you for visiting my page. I am retired so I have lots of free time! So I am looking for some fur friends! Animals bring joy to my life!❤️ Thanks! I do have a fenced yard and a room for cats! It’s just me so not a lot of traffic for escapees. Thank you. Hope to meet your fur babies soon!
“Adrienne was great with communication and sent pictures of our girls constantly which really put us at ease. Thank you so very much for taking great care of our babies on such short notice!”
“Danielle was an outstanding sitter! We needed a last-minute booking, and her flexibility made the entire experience easy and stress-free. She went above and beyond by providing amenities we weren't able to supply at the time. The biggest testament to her care was how relaxed our Frenchie was when returning home. Seeing him that calm means he felt safe, happy, and completely anxiety-free throughout his stay. We would not hesitate to book Danielle again and highly recommend her!”
“Mac enjoyed spending time with Sydney and her family. He had a ball, well taking care of, the atmosphere was incredible. Mac is only One years old never been left with anyone and to see him have a great time was all I wanted. Sydney you are amazing. Thank you for your service we will see you soon😊”
“Wanesa and her family were amazing sitters! From drop off to pick up, I had no worries about them taking care of my boy Enzo. She sent me pictures and updates daily and was accommodating when my pick up was later than originally intended. 10/10, definitely recommend!”

Susan was wonderful! She gave Loki her undivided attention and lots of playtime in the backyard, which made him so happy. He was treated like family while he was there, which was evident from the pictures I saw. I'm very grateful for her love and care of my sweet boy. She is trustworthy, and definitely worth re-booking with in the future.
10 out of 5! Nicole and her beautiful family took such wonderful care of our Copper. It was our first time away from our little boy and I was very nervous using a service. Nicole was so sweet and comforting. She shared pictures all weekend, and had a full report upon pick up. I will definitely be using Nicole again, I highly recommend her! Thanks again, Nicole! 💖

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Hartfield Acres home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Hartfield Acres.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Hartfield Acres sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
