About: Hey y’all! I took a break from pet sitting due to my full time job at the clinic but I’ll be back as of 6/5/26💜Animals have always been part of my life. As a teenager I used to do volunteer work with dog shelters/cat sanctuaries, and I currently have 3 years experience as a kennel technician/vet assistant in a clinic setting. As a stay at home parent/wife, I have a flexible schedule to focus on providing care and attention for your fur babies. (Pets with indoor crate/pen training are a plus in case I have to leave the home during the day at any point to ensure your pets safety) I have recently decided to start working from home, so i am able to provide quality time and attention for your pet while they are in my care. (My weekends are mostly open, but during the summer months we spend a lot of time on the lake/river, so it’s also a plus if you have a dog that loves the water. My dachshund would love a boating buddy!) I have a large, shaded fenced in yard where your pets can freely run and play. When your pets are in my care, they are treated the same as my own. My couch is their couch, and if they want to burrow under the covers or at the foot of the bed, mine will just have to scoot on over and make some extra room, haha. Above I mentioned that crate trained pets are a plus for any time during their stay I have to leave the house. My dachshund is a known chewer/scavenger, so she stays in a large indoor pen if I have to leave the house and it has become a safe space for her.

“Right off the batt, two words: HIRE DALTON! This young man exceeded every expectation of a pet/house sitter! We have a rescue pointer who can be pretty insecure. Dalton was so sweet, knowledgeable and patient that by day 2 of a week long pet sit, Buddy was completely at ease and happy. Dalton sent us updates every day with photos and details of their day. When we got home, the house was as if we never left, and he actually washed his bedding. Your pets will be in the best of hands and we simply cannot recommend him enough. About: I grew up with cats, dogs, turtles, lizards… basically anything I could get away with bringing home. I have been a pet parent to my cats, Maybell for the last 10 years, and Gia for the last 6. They are precious girls that I love dearly, and I have extensive experience with varieties of dog breeds from working at a boarding and grooming facility! I work full time as a physical therapist during the week days and miss getting to have dogs around to love on! I didn't fall very far from her tree, Lol. I know I'm just like her & I believe that's a good thing. I remember how all the strays & injured wildlife in our neighborhood would find our house because they knew we would take care of them. I also learned from watching our dogs & cats over the years & those we fostered when I was a teenager & the way they would interact with each other, what they were saying with their body language. I currently live on my parents farm while I am helping them with my grandparents & helping take care of the farm, so I am unable to sit anybody at their house or watch anyone overnight, unless it is at your residence. We have horses, some inside cats, outside barn cats, & a few very spoiled dogs. Animals are loving, gentle creatures & should always be trated with respect, care & love. My dog is always there to comfort me & make my day better. My dog is my heart & I will treat yours like they were my own. Animals are a gift & I love being around all these different amazing creatures all the time. Upon request, I can take last minute bookings, I understand that things come up in life. This is most of my schedule. I do some online work but that can be done at any time. You set the schedule. If you ask me to be there at a certain time then that is when I will be there. I will freely admit that very early mornings are difficult for me at this present time due to a few circumstances, but I will always do my very best for your fur kids, big & small, no matter the breed or species! I can only watch animals in your home at this time. But if they need fed, they will eat. If they need to go on a walk & not just run around the back yard, we'll go on a walk. We'll play with their favorite toy, snuggle on the sofa, make sure they have a good day. Then before I leave I will make sure any mess is cleaned up & that the house is the way it was before I got there.

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I had a dog growing up and I am constantly around people that have dogs and I sometimes care for them! I can easily schedule puppy dates with my friends' dogs if wanted! I will care for your pet whether it is just taking them for a walk or staying with them for a couple days! I will care for your pet when I get off work and if you need me to let them out throughout the day I can. I just lost my Maltese of 13 years old which traveled the world with me literally. I was only away from him for two nights his whole life, and that was bc he spent the night at the vets one night, and I spent the night at the hospital one night. He went everywhere with me. From restaurants to Walmart. If I went he went. I have no children, so he was my child. I will treat your baby with the same love, and care. I have a newly build house with an acre that is fenced in. So, if your dog is large and likes to run outside, it can. I also have a screened in back porch. You baby will be safe and loved in my home. I am retired and spend most of my time at home. So your dog will be supervised, as per hour request. I am flexible and will listen to the owners request, as much as possible. I have a fenced in acre of land. I also have a screen in back porch. If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! They know if you are of good character, or not.
