“INCREDIBLE! Christian from the minute we did our meet and greet made us feel so confident with leaving our Callie with him. He demonstrates an outstanding understanding of dogs, their behaviors, and needs. It was immediately clear how seriously he takes this. This isn't a side gig, this is his full time job. He sent us frequent picture and video updates throughout the day of our Callie girl hanging with his pack, out on walks, and lounging with the family. I do worry that if we keep bringing Callie that she won't want to come home!”

“I could not be more happy finding Lisa to watch my 15 month old Boxer, Gracie. The communication, her gentle demeanor, and the area that Gracie played in was outstanding too. My wife was on a sister trip and I had a golf tournament in Reading, PA but we were both relieved when Lisa agreed to watch our baby. 5 stars is not enough on how we feel...make it 10 STARS! We'll be using her again, I'm sure! May God bless Rover & Lisa!!! Sincerely, Dell & Sharon B.”

About: I am a conservation biologist working primarily out of my home on 4+ acres in Montgomery Country. I would love to take care of your dog(s) or cat(s), either in my home or yours. I grew up on a horse farm outside of Boston, and have ridden and owned horses since 1985. At my home, I currently have five goats, two donkeys, three dogs, two cats and two goldfish, as well as two horses boarded off site. Every one of my animals is a beloved family member and I treat my many foster animals and guest pets similarly. I have a soft spot for seniors and have adopted a number of very senior dogs from shelters. Currently, I have Jiaozi, a hospice dog adopted at age 13 years from Florida. He joined 7-year old Diefenbaker, adopted from Texas, and Maeve, a recently foster-failed doxie mix from Georgia. Beyond the experience of caring for my own multitude of animals over 30+ years — not to mention hands-on wildlife expertise ranging from chimps to snails — I owned a veterinary clinic for 9 years. In 1999, I started a nonprofit mobile veterinary clinic to provide free and reduced cost spays, neuters and wellness care for pets of families on public assistance. We treated thousands of dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, roosters, and many others. My 2-acre yard is fully fenced with split rail and interior wire fencing. The deck is also gated on both ends, should I want to corral them while working up there. Additionally, I have two fully-fenced pastures (2+ acres) with wire and post. Even with plenty of play in the big yard, I typically hike with the dogs 5 to 7 days per week. I work remotely for clients in the western US and Europe. As such, I typically work a few hours early in the morning, and then more later in the day, when the dogs are fairly tired out. The dogs are rarely if ever unattended in the house and never in the yard without me. The yard is fully fenced with locks on gates. My dogs are accustomed to new dogs as we foster for the Philly shelter (ACCT) when possible. I put no restrictions on pets in the home, but I’m happy mirror all rules or crate if desired.

About: For decades, I've been the go-to pet sitter for family, friends, and neighbors, building a reputation for dependable and loving pet care. While previously balancing this passion with a full-time job, my schedule was more limited. However, now as a proud owner of Kona Girl Wellness, working flexibly from anywhere, I've expanded my pet sitting services. I regularly assist a growing client base, often staying overnight, averaging about 5 days per stay. As an avid runner, I bring an extra dose of joy to the pets I care for. They get excited knowing that with me, they're in for their much-loved long walks. This active lifestyle not only keeps them healthy but also happy. My commitment to providing exceptional care is reflected in the glowing referrals from my clients. Entrusting your beloved pet to my care means they'll receive not just a sitter, but a companion who understands and caters to their needs for physical activity and affection. Pet care seamlessly intertwines with my daily and weekly routines, harmonizing perfectly with my lifestyle as a business owner and fitness enthusiast. Each day, my flexible schedule as the founder of Kona Girl Fitness allows me the freedom to integrate pet sitting into my life, whether it's for an overnight stay or a day visit. Mornings often start with a refreshing run or walk, a joy not just for me but for the energetic dogs under my care. Throughout the week, my pet sitting aligns with my work-from-anywhere approach, ensuring that I'm always available for the pets' needs, be it playtime, feeding, or just some cuddle time. This blend of activities means that the pets I care for are treated to a dynamic, loving environment, mirroring the healthy, active lifestyle I advocate. On average, I spend about 5 days in a stay, fully immersing myself in providing a home away from home for these furry friends.
