About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and I had big, medium and small dogs in the past and I also had one cat. I took care of pregnant dogs, injured, spayed and neutered dogs. I have college classes Monday-Thursday I have classes during these times : @10am-3pm. I am usually available on the weekends. Let me know if you have any questions. I can care for your pet in my home or the client’s home, whichever the client prefers. If the client wants their pet to be in a crate, that’s fine with me too. Either way, I will take the pet on regular walks.

About: Hi there! I’ve worked with dogs for years and truly love getting to know each one’s personality, routine, and needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is the hands-on experience I gained at Healthy Spot LLC in Santa Monica, where I worked as a certified dog bather. There, I learned far more than just grooming—I became well-versed in canine body language, health monitoring, and how to handle dogs with all kinds of temperaments, including nervous or high-energy pups. I bring that same knowledge and patience to every walk, drop-in, or overnight stay. I’m calm, attentive, and always focused on making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your pup needs a slow, relaxed walk or a high-energy play session, I adjust to their vibe and make sure they’re getting exactly what they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like they’re part of my own little pack. Pet care is something I naturally build into my daily routine. I treat it as a priority, not a side task—whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening feedings. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for each visit, so I’m never rushing and can give every pet the full attention they deserve. Caring for animals genuinely brings me joy, so making time for them throughout the week feels less like work and more like a rewarding part of my day. I always aim to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment—whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their established routines, from feeding and walk schedules to playtime and any special instructions. I keep things clean, respectful, and quiet to help pets feel secure while their owners are away. In my own space, I make sure it’s pet-friendly, free of hazards, and stocked with essentials like clean water, cozy resting areas, and plenty of enrichment. No matter the setting, I give pets my full attention, read their body language closely, and adjust to whatever helps them feel happiest and most at ease.

About: Hi, my name’s Shari! I’m new to the Rover community and am very excited to be here! If you're seeking someone to keep your fur baby happy and engaged, I would be delighted to help! I enjoy socializing and staying active with animals, and I believe that keeping them entertained contributes to their happiness. My main goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I completely understand that it can be nerve-racking to have someone watch your furry family members while you’re away. I can assure you that I will provide them with the love, attention, and quality care they deserve. I have a passion for animals and want to ensure they have a positive and comfortable experience when away from their family and home. I will make sure they feel safe, welcomed, loved, and of course entertained! I’m a 30 year old elementary school teacher currently on summer break. I actually will not be returning to the classroom next year, as I’m transitioning into the field of animal care due to my love and passion for animals. I thought joining Rover would be a wonderful way to spend my time caring for others' fur babies as I make this transition. I have grown up caring for my family’s cats and dogs, and I have also assisted friends, neighbors, and family members with their pets. I have experience with dogs of various breeds, ages, and sizes. I’ve also done volunteer work at the animal shelter. The Gulf Coast Humane Society is where I met and adopted my adorable mixed little pitty back when I was in college. Unfortunately he has passed away due to old age, and I’ve found it a bit challenging to move on from that loss. Another reason I joined Rover is to spend more time with animals while I consider when I might be ready to adopt another dog. I currently have 2 very friendly cats that keep to themselves when we have doggy guests. I’m happy to let you know that I have complete availability and can accommodate your pet care needs at any time of the day/night and any day of the week! As a fellow pet owner, I appreciate the importance of understanding your pet's routine and unique needs. Your pet is a precious member of your family and I treat all animals like they are my own ❤️ Maintaining open and clear communication with you, including updates and addressing any concerns promptly, is very important to me. I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop and send pictures of your fur baby to show you how they’re doing 😊 Scheduling a meet and greet before caring for your loved one is a wonderful opportunity for us to build trust and ensure everything goes smoothly! However, if you prefer not to schedule a meet and greet, please know that I completely understand and am happy to proceed in whatever way feels most comfortable for you.

Bart C.
“Bart has been an absolute blessing when it comes to caring for our pets. He has looked after our two German Shepherds and our two calico cats with a level of attention, patience, and genuine love that’s hard to find. Our Shepherds can be a handful, but Bart handles them with calm confidence and always makes sure they get the exercise, structure, and affection they need. Our cats, who are usually a bit shy around new people, warmed up to him quickly—something that speaks volumes about his gentle and respectful approach. Whether we were away for a weekend or just needed a drop-in visit, we could always count on Bart to treat our pets like his own. We feel completely at ease knowing they’re in such capable and caring hands. We can’t recommend him highly enough!”
