We did a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure Maya got along well with their dogs, and fortunately, they did. I loved seeing videos of all the dogs chasing each other around their large yard. About: Wah Gwaan! My Name is Ronley and I just moved to California from Jamaica! I am a dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience raising, caring for, and training dogs. In Jamaica, I helped run a kennel with more than 35 dogs at a time and regularly worked on basic training and behavior. I was never formally certified because certification was not required there, but I gained years of real-world experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Since moving to the U.S., I’m excited to get back into the dog world. I love everything from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, and I bring lots of energy, patience, and love to every dog I care for. I currently work part-time and am available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with additional availability depending on the day as I work Nights. During my off-season, from November 2026 through March 2027, I’ll have full-time availability for pet care, walks, drop-ins, and plenty of playtime! Safety is always a priority for me. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep doors and gates secure, provide plenty of supervision, and make sure pets feel comfortable and relaxed. I also respect every client’s home and treat their pets like family.

“We boarded our two young dogs with Kara so that our family could travel on Christmas, and Kara was wonderful with them! She graciously welcome them into her home on a holiday and took excellent care of them. We got daily check-ins and videos, and she was really intuitive about their needs. There were two larger dogs being boarded at the same time, and since ours haven’t been around many other dogs yet, she was careful to keep them separated to make it less stressful for all of them. We felt so confident and pleased with leaving our dogs with Kara, we will definitely be rebooking with her again!”

Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to care for a variety of dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know each one. Whether your dog loves long trail walks, relaxing neighborhood strolls, or plenty of time to sniff and explore, I’ll make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I always prioritize safety, patience, and making every walk enjoyable and stress-free. I grew up around both dogs and cats and currently have a border collie, yorkie, and a golden doodle, so I understand how important consistency and trust are. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow your instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Communication is important to me, so after every walk or visit, I send detailed updates and photos so you know exactly how your pet is doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet has a fun, safe, and positive experience. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I have a fenced back yard and plenty of backyard for your dogs to run around in, I also have a little lounge area for the dogs, I have 3 dogs myself, a yorkie, golden doodle, and a border collie, all VERY VERY friendly and wouldn’t hurt a fly! Since it’s getting really hot around summer time, don’t worry, I have tons and tons of water jugs specifically for the dogs all around the house !
