Bryanna took wonderful care of Gilda, my 10 month old English Cocker Spaniel, for two days this week. Bryanna communicated extremely well. She provides secure indoor and outdoor space, and lots of play activities. After the first day, Gilda was extremely eager to return to Bryanna’s care for the second day. And, after the second day, Gilda was exhausted from 2 straight days of play and activities. I will book again with Bryanna, and recommend that you book with her too. Have fun in Punta Gorda, while knowing your precious fur baby is being well cared for by Bryanna.

Jennifer was great. Very sweet and gentle girl. First time for our 15 year old dog with a sitter. She kept the pictures and videos coming all day, putting our minds at ease. The location was nice and her home is immaculately clean. We were able to spend a very enjoyable whole day away from our rental.

Ana was amazing! We met her a couple days before and she and her dog Lex immediately connected with our pup, and then this morning when we went to drop our pup off, she happily trotted in the house to meet Lex instead of freaking out like she normally does when we leave her! She had a great day, we got a bunch of pictures, and she was clearly very happy when we picked her up. Very glad to have found Ana!

Miranda was wonderful to work with! She took great interest in our dog; gave walks, playtime and cuddles. She has a clean safe home with a nice fenced in yard. Provided pictures and was quick to respond to any outreaches and was very accommodating. We would absolutely work with her again when in the area. Highly recommend!

About: 1 client at a time. About me: I am neurodivergent. I'm the type of person that tries to keep in touch with their inner child. I may or may not be a yoga space-case but I am home practically 24/7, at the moment, and have 24+ years of experience raising animal companions (and loved it). Please feel free to ask any questions. I have flexible availability and can spend genuine time with your pet. I pay close attention to the little things that make a big difference in a pets well-being and happiness. As a devoted pet sitter, I go beyond the basics. It's not a kennel here, your little being will have it's own little bedroom and it will have all the freedom and love it can take.

About: I've taken care of bunnies, parrots, chickens, dogs, cats, and turtles. I will always make sure that your pet is well cared for and loved. About: My husband and I have had dogs all our lives but at the stage of life where we still love having dogs around but would rather not have our own any more. This is a perfect solution to let us have pets but not in a permanent basis. I still work but my husband is home all day and would love some furry companionship during the days and for walks in the evening Husband is home days for frequent outdoor potty breaks. We take short walks in the evenings for excercise. We have crates IF they are needed when we have to step out. I am currently working part time and husband is home all day so we have plenty of time to walk, play and spoil your baby. Since someone is home a large majority of the time we are around to watch out for and care for your pet and give it lots of love and attention

About: I only take in one pet (and siblings) at a time. I think it's less traumatic for the pets if there are not other animals around when they are separated from their family. I do everything that I can to make the experience fun and loving. I love both cats and dogs for different reasons. I’ve had pets my entire life until recently. Since most of my pets died of old age, I am experienced with geriatric pets and their special needs as well. I follow your instructions on pet-care. I've watched many dogs and cats in different homes with completely different schedules and rules. I am an early bird so if you have dogs, I like to walk early before it gets too hot. But again, if your dog is used to sleeping in, I can work with his schedule. I do this for fun as well as extra income. I only take up to two pets at a time and they must be siblings. I may take in a third depending on circumstances. Just ask! I am mostly home with the pets. I even have my groceries delivered! I go the gym most mornings for about 1.5 hours. I started pet-sitting to fill the void after my last pet died. I’ve been pet and house sitting professionally around the world since 2016. I board dogs or cats in my home in Port Charlotte. I love to travel and am open to pet sitting in your home anywhere in the world, as long as it's somewhere I'm interested in. I am always interested in Eagle Rock/Glassell Park, CA, as that's where my son lives. I am an early riser so I like to walk the dogs as the sun is rising and then again at dusk. I have a large fenced-in yard so the dogs have a lot of freedom, but I don't leave them alone outside. I am working on house projects so I am almost always around. I am accepting up to two sibling dogs/cats for boarding in my home. I prefer crate-trained dogs as they feel more secure in their crates and it's less traumatic for them to be left at a stranger's house. I am flexible on this depending on the age of your dogs. Most of the time, they are free. I am finding that most dogs just follow me around since I am actively working on the house. The house is fairly new to me so there are many projects to be done!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 484 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Harbour Heights. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Harbour Heights commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 484 sitters in Harbour Heights, 83% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
