“Kathy was very responsible and completely reliable. She provided food, water, and litter cleaning twice a day as agreed. She played with my one kitty who does not hide and took really good pictures of him each day. She dealt with some issues promptly and let me know what was happening. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Kathy. I would be happy to trust her with cat care again at any time.”

“Alexis did an outstanding job! She kept informed and sent lots of pictures. She even got out mail and cleaned our sink! She also had to regularly straighten all the throw rugs from kitty mayhem and didn’t complain at all.”

“Beth is amazing! I was nervous to get a sitter/walker for my reactive guy but he adores her and I don’t worry at all when he’s in her care. I have already and will rebook and highly recommend Beth to other pet parents.”

“Lauren was very helpful while I was out of town. She kept up on the litter box, made sure my cat had enough food and water, and even tried to play when he was interested. And supplied my cat with a LOT of cuddles while I was gone. 😂 She was very flexible, arranging a time to meet me and my cat before I booked her services. Very pleasant to work with. Thank you so much for all your help, Lauren!”

About: Hi there! I've been doing canine caretaking on the Rover platform since 2023. My property is a located on the same street as the McClelland Dog Park, a 5-minute walk. As veteran dog owners, we make regular use of it! Prior to doing Rover, I frequently helped friends and family with their dogs for many years. Nearly everyone I know has pets and I've hosted dozens in my home. My clients love the close proximity to a public park with trails. Currently I have 2 dogs - Ellie and Bishop. My yard is fully fenced and your dog will enjoy plenty of outside play time with Ellie and Bishop, as well as trail walks and trips to the dog park. I also live a 5-minute drive from the nearest veterinary clinic, and I have room for crates. I also offer professional photography services for your pet for an extra fee. Ask about it during your dog's stay if interested! I work a regular day job, but it's very close to home so I come home daily for lunch to and for the dogs and run them in the yard. Off on weekends with fairly open schedule. Ellie and Bishop are exercised daily and worked with often, and are very well behaved with both dogs and people. The backyard is directly connected to a public park with trails. Yard gates are secured with locks and monitored with cameras.

I look forward to meeting your pet(s) so that I can gain more experience. I understand that all dogs are not all the same which is why I would love to get more experience. I’ve pet sat family & friends animals, ranging from dogs to cats to birds and even reptiles and arthropods. I am comfortable with giving animals daily medications they need! I am a full-time college student who works a part-time job. It’s summer break, and I am more available more often! I will easily be able to go from my part-time to your pet(s)! I have a fenced in backyard, myself, but with the amount of dogs I have, I would prefer watching the dog at your residence. I consistently have two weekdays off, on which I am 100% available for your pet care needs :) I currently rent, so I am unable to care for animals in my home. However, I am happy to stay or stop by wherever you might need! I am a quick study and will readily adapt to any animals schedule or needs :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
