She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

“This was a difficult sit for Lauren. Mal was approaching 18 years old and was not eating well. Several days into our trip, he took a turn for the worse. Lauren could not contact our veterinary because it was the weekend. We advised her to contact my daughter who was our contact on the Rover site. Lauren was able to pass our key to my son-in-law who sat with our cat as he passed away. Lauren was very professional.”

I have 2 small breed fur babies and have a deep love for animals. Your pups will be cared for like my own. Your fur babies will be entertained, cuddled and loved during their stay! Pet care is apart of my daily routine. I work from home and we start our day around 8 am. We have at least 4 potty breaks in our personal fenced in area. It's small, but a perfect size for small breed pups! I also provide daily walks based on each owners preference. I have 2 friendly small breed pups. Sage is 9 lbs and Chico weighs 13 lbs. They love to play with new friends. If your pup is a TV watcher I also have a DOGTV subscription! My space is not huge, but I can guarantee your pups will get lots of exercise and love! My pups are apart of my family so they are allowed anywhere we are in the home. I currently care for crate trained and/or partially trained dogs. I only board small breed dogs due my apartment not being huge and I want to ensure your pup has enough space to play and be comfortable . Before accepting boarding requests I do ask that your Rover profile be updated with all necessary information to ensure safety, including updated pictures and updated weight of your pups. About: I have lived on a farm my whole life. At age 12 I started managing our family farm, which ment taking care of all of our animals, from the horses to the rabbits. There are two rules I keep for myself: 1) every animal has a purpose and a name. They are not just a number (which is important to remember on a farm) 2) They are fed and cared for before anything else. It doesn't matter what's going on they are my first thought when I wake up. I take care of them before I eat. I am currently a college student and working part time for the school. My times and avalibility will change when I resume school in September. Because I live on a farm, I am blessed that my cats can safely be indoor - outdoor cats. I do have a house cat, and I have two outdoor cats. For dogs, I am used to taking dogs on walks, and letting them into secure, fensed in yards.

About: I have owned dogs all my life. At one point I owned 4! I am moving home from college and just got a job in Richmond. I am very flexible and will be in town to help out whenever needed! I am an elementary school teacher in Hanover County during the school year! I am fully open during the summer to care for your pets during the day. I treat them like my own! I love to hang out with pets, and I love a list. If there is a specific set of things to do, I will follow it exactly and make sure the pet gets what they need.

About: I grew up with a dog when i was really little. I have dog sat and walked for my neighbors multiple times. And I’m currently living with my friend’s dog and cats. Currently as college student home for break, my weekdays are fully available. I am used to waking up early and I am pretty active so early morning walks will be a breeze. I like to take note of small habit and dos and don’ts to look back and be thorough in pet care. I am well versed in what dangerous for pets as I grew up with pets and have lived with both cats and dogs.
