I’m home most days of the week, live right by Forest Park and go on numerous daily walks and runs. I’m happy to flex my walks around the doggo’s needs! I have a clean and safe apartment with plenty of natural light. My building has a massive dog park that is secure and clean as well. My dog and I go down there all the time to play, get fresh air and socialize with other dogs in our building!

About: I have spent two decades pet sitting cats and dogs. In particular, I've given medications (including insulin, pills and liquids) and have a lot of experience with senior pets. Overall, I just want your pet to feel safe and loved. I work part time so that I have time to dedicate to pet sitting. I make sure that your pet is my priority when they're under my care. Each situation is unique and I learn what makes your pet feel safest and most secure. I learn their routines and make sure to follow instructions. That way the transition is easiest for them.

It can be unsettling to have someone you don't know stay in your home but Chris left me feeling at ease upon meeting her for our first introduction. About: My whole life, I've provided care and love to a series of five lovable golden retrievers and numerous other dogs. I've promoted their health through frequent walks and exercise, given comfort to them through play and cuddles, and have paid the utmost attention to their needs. I taught one of my family's current goldens to obey commands when he was a puppy and helped the other to overcome his fear of swimming through gentle encouragement and coaxing. I will provide all this experience to ensure your dogs enjoy their time! I'm currently a PhD student at WashU and so have the majority of my availability in the evenings and weekends. Weekends are best, especially considering the rigors of the school year. My philosophy with pet care is to be gentle but fair. I will go along with the pet's needs for the majority of the time and encourage their development through correction of their behaviors, when necessary. This correction will be done through verbal warnings just strong enough to get the message across, without being overly hostile.

I have been a stay in dog/home sitter for over 2 years now and am grateful to be trusted in such a capacity. I have experience with and am available to for longer term stays as well such as trips lasting a week or more. I am a stay at home mom at this time so my schedule is pretty flexible! I am able to continue your pet’s existing routine For in home visits I will be sure to follow your pet’s routine and provide some extra loving since they will be missing you! Since my dog is not friendly with other dogs, I will be keeping everyone safe but not pet sitting in my home.
