“We had a very chaotic week from an ER visit to the emergence of separation anxiety. Jessica did a great job helping us out and calming our nerves. She was great with our dogs and I would recommend her to other dog parents.”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

“Sarah and her family are a joy and took such good care of Monty while we were away. We loved the note and photo they left for us at the end of their care. I highly recommend them!”

“Bekka was wonderful with my dog Spencer! She took him for a nice walk and then threw some toys around for him as well. He loved his time with Bekka! Will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

“Nicole loves animals. She helped me learn to give cats medicine at the cat shelter we both volunteered at, and showed great compassion and care towards these sick little ones. I honestly believe she will go above and beyond in caring for your dogs. Be it walking them, and/or caring for them in your home. Her compassion towards animals shows not only in her care, but also in how animals respond to her. She has a fantastic work ethic, never slacking, always putting the animals first. Her care and attention to detail saved two very sick kittens, who are now my daughter's wonderful companions.”

Lucas B.

He has come on short notice when I’ve had family emergencies, and stopped in when one of my cats was very sick without hesitation. There is absolutely no one I trust more than him when it comes to the welfare of my animals. I would recommend Lucas to anyone without a second thought. He will care for and love your animals as if they were his own.”
