About: I am a retired science teacher with a very flexible schedule. I was a Great Dane mom for 20 years and have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. I am recently retired and still building my "new" routine, which currently has lots of time to care for your dog(s) either in your home or possibly mine. I currently have no pets (my dog in passed in July, 2023) and I hope that my work with Rover will bring some extra joy to my days as well as those of your dog(s). I also enjoy hobbies such as golf, daily workouts/walks, and reading. At my home, I have a beautiful back yard that is great for quick walks or potty breaks on leash. The local park is only a 10-minute walk away. My large deck is a great place for dogs to get some fresh air, weather permitting. The main level of the home is mostly hardwood floors. I have plenty of space for a crate and food/water bowls. I am a respectful, responsible individual and will follow your instructions for pet care and visits with care and the greatest attention to detail.

About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.

About: I’ve held two jobs consisting of dog care, one which included stopping by houses to clean waste/greet clients and their dogs. She helped socialize them with her other animals and also took them on many adventures! As added bonus, our dogs were groomed when we came back and she was Beyond reasonable for the grooming fees.
