About: I’ve had furbabies of every size and breeds since I was a child. Horses, dogs, cats and other large mammals. Never met an animal that doesn’t love me. The feelings are mutual. I am retired, and love fur babies to keep me company and help me stay active. I do require animals be vaccinated and spade/neutered. Not taking cats due to allergies. I have a fenced yard, room to roam, a small furbaby of my own. Furbabies can be crated or sleep where they choose. Always indoor at night.
About: I have two dogs that live with me, they love life, love to make friends, and I got one as a puppy and the other at age 3! I work full time but spent a lot of time at home with my dogs in my off time and make plenty of time to take care of them and other dogs. This is my second job. I have a fenced in yard that is brick on two sides, I feed twice a day, available water feeder, lots of toys and treats as well as bedding.
About: Hi Everyone! My name is Arianna, I recently moved to Hanford. Little about me, is that I grew up raising rabbits. I am a respectful pet sitter. I adore all animals no matter how big or small! I am responsible, and trustworthy individual who is here to love and care for your pet :) Currently I do not have a job, which allows me to have open availability. With this availability I will have more time to meet and love your pets! If your pet is young, old, big or small you can rest assure I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable and extremely loved. I will follow their feeding schedule, give them playtime and exercise all while keeping their environment clean. When caring for a pet in their own home, I will follow instructions carefully and treat the home with respect.
About: I've taken care of my own dogs for nearly a decade. As a teenager I spent a short amount of time as a dog/house sitter for a neighbor. I currently work part-time in childcare so I have plenty of time and energy to spend with your pets and provide a fun, safe, and loving environment. I have two friendly small dogs who I take for frequent walks as we don't have a fenced in yard. Since I will be taking care of dogs outside of my home, this isn't an issue. However, it has given me plenty of dog-walking experience. I'm committed to the safety and well-being of the animals in my care.
“This was our first time having Annashaye as a sitter and she was wonderful! Very polite and sent lots of pictures of our babies! Definitely plan on using her as a sitter again for our next trip?”

About: I have had pets for many years of my life. I have also taken care of people's pets for about a year now before Rover. I have experience volunteering at the ASPCA doing things such as cleaning crates, making sure animals were well fed and watered, and managing the animals. I can be home all day every week. I don't have much going on so i can dedicate a lot of love and care to your pets. My complex has a nice park with lots of grass. I also have plenty of time to take your pups on walks around the neighborhood.
“Had a work emergency happen and needed a sitter to give my boys a pee break. Alysabeth responded quickly, even with a late/short notice she was able to accommodate our needs quickly. She followed instructions perfect, no issues at all, and helped a lot with a moment’s notice. Would recommend to care for your pets.”

“Isabelle is not our usual cat sitter, but she was excellent checking in on our cat during the holidays! She went above and beyond to check on our cat before tenting to a personal matter which we really appreciated because we were out of town. We will definitely book her again to check in on our cat.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care David provided for our little guy while we were away. Leaving a pet is always stressful, but David immediately put our minds at ease. He didn’t just stick to the basics of feeding and walking; he genuinely invested time into keeping him company, playing, and making sure he felt safe and loved. Coming home to a relaxed, happy pet told us everything we needed to know about the quality of care he received. Reliable, communicative, and truly attentive—David gets our highest possible recommendation. We’ll definitely be booking him again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my personal animals since I was a little girl and have been pet sitting for about 4 years. I have about 4 years of Veterinary experience currently working as a Veterinary Assistant. I am currently a vet assistant at a veterinary clinic but have free time whenever I’m not there. Animals are just a part of my life and I’d love for that to continue. I will care for pets in a safe and loving way. I also will follow the instructions given to me by the owners and will take good care of any property or home I am in. I am very cautious when it comes to each animal, their behaviors and their needs. I’m very understanding about pets being very nervous, I go very slow and let them warm up to me in their own way, being nervous is normal and nothing to be shamed for.
About: I’ve been dog sitting & providing services for over 10 years now! For 5+ years I’ve dog sat Gracie the pit bull (see photos) as her father is always traveling for work for extended periods of time prior to coming back to this platform. I would dog sit on multiple occasions for weeks or months at a time, therefore I'm comfortable working extended periods of time with multiple animals. I treat every animal as if they were my own so I understand on a personal note how sentimental they mean to their owners! I pride myself in my patience & professionalism. I carry myself with a lot of compassion & empathy however, which is why I wanted to begin working & applying more of my time with animals again! Complete availability Monday through Friday, I’m open between 7:30am-10:30pm for any doggie daycare needs, dog walking or drop ins! Very easy going & willing to do weekends for repeated clients! ❤️ I currently have a huge fenced backyard & will always make sure they’re monitored. I love to be present with every animal I watch so I always ensure the doggies are safe while they’re playing or resting. I’ll never leave them unattended!
“Moon did a great job with my girls. She is prompt and keeps in communication well. I love the pictures she provided so I can see my girls while I’m away. I would definitely recommend Moon. Thank you Moon🐾♥️🐾”

About: Animal Care and service was my career and my passion for many years, since I was a child. I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from several Humane Societies and Animal Care Centers over the years. Loving, Caring for and protecting Animals have always been my passion as well as serving in my community. This is my opportunity to share my home, my passion and my love for animals with your (furry) family member and I am excited about that. I have always appreciated the trust, loyalty and respect given to me by the owners that love their dogs, simply put! It’s just a wonderful feeling to be around all that love. I am officially retired so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family member, I also have a flexible schedule so that I can offer several Animal Care Services I have a gated front yard, fenced rear yard and a secure pool area if your dogs likes to have water fun, additional secure small Animal play Area (my Boston’s love it). The security cameras also give that little extra feeling of safety. I have crates, dog beds and private quiet rooms for the Animals to sleep or rest in if needed so your animal always feels totally at home. (because that’s the real goal!❤️).

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, attention, and adaptability I bring to every pet I look after. I treat each animal like they’re my own, which means taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and specific needs so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work fulltime but weekends I am fully available! I love animals and always have since I was little. Growing up we’ve always have had dogs and cats. I have a fenced yard and we have plenty of room for the dogs to run around. I do also have a pug that is 6 years old but he is super friendly.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
