Well, by the time we went to pick Winnie up we were worried she wouldn't want to come home with us. Mary worked with Winnie on basic commands, slowing down eating, had great suggestions for how to keep her occupied and even got her hooked on her homemade Pup Pops! We got photos, texts and videos every day which made it possible to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our baby was having a GREAT time at her new Auntie's house. Winnie got some really great socialization under the watchful eye of Mary and her husband. You can tell that they adore dogs and they know each dog's personality and quirks. I received updates with pictures of my pet while I was on vacation. By the looks of the pictures I think my dog had a better vacation with Steve and Patty than I did on my trip!! About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 16. I work for Charleston Animal Society. Examples of care; walking them, to giving them medicine (if needed), feeding them, making sure they have water, don’t overheat, have basically everything they need as they are with me, to having them for sleep overs, and staying with them for however long was needed. Animals are my top priority. At the moment I have a full time job, but have weekends off. I plan to entail doing this on my weekends and even after work days. This is more then just making it my routine. I adore animal(s). I have a fenced in yard, I as well have a crate. Plenty of opportunities for walking adventures. I enjoy going to the dog park, as well with adventuring outside anywhere with the animal(s). Whatever you set for rules or boundaries I’ll always continue to respect them, and always follow.
