About: Retiree. Fenced in yard with artificial turf only and built in pool. I am a loving, caring dog owner of 2 male dogs. 65 lb six year old Portuguese water dog named Jerry Garcia and 20 lb four year old Shitzu dog named Phil Lesh. Active dogs. Jerry loves to swim and play catch. Phil loves to chase geico and frogs, really any bug. Fenced in yard is completely safe and locked shut at all times. Great house for dog play. I have a separate room with a couch for the dogs. A TV in dog room. I play soundscapes music for a calming atmosphere. My husband and I live alone. I am retired. My husband works full-time and is home by 4pm each day. I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I take care of my grandson on my other available days. I stay at home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have a fenced in yard, with artificial turf. I do not have any crates. The dogs have amble space in the house. I have a tile floors in back room, kitchen and dining room. The dogs are allowed on the furniture in the backroom.

About: I have been stepping in to take care of pets for the last 5 years. I had cats my entire childhood, but always had neighbors with dogs. I can walk them, scoop poo, and play with them with no issue. I’m a best fit for houses with both cats and dogs, and I’m open to caring for other animals as well (birds, lizards, snakes, etc.) with proper instructions! While in college I pet sit regularly for a dog with high medical needs (seizures, diabetes, etc.) and am very good at following instructions for their medication and care. Overall, I love watching over creatures that some might consider “finicky or particular.” It’s rewarding to help them stay comfortable while their favorite person is away. I’m currently working part time (15-20hrs) as a server, so the days that I work varies week to week. However, I don’t work weekends, and I’m never at work for longer than 8 hours (most shifts are 4-6hours). I can easily visit your pet/house in the morning, go to work, and return to check on them in the afternoon/evening. On days that I’m not working, I can check more frequently and stay longer. I will feed, give medication, scoop litter boxes, and play/walk your pets according to their needs. For general house sitting, I can water plants and bring in mail/packages if requested! For stays that are 3 days+, I will also clean water bowls/food dispensers. I am open to light cleaning (floors, laundry, dusting, etc.) in homes that I’m watching for 3+ days, but for a negotiated rate. If you have pets, I will not clean with anything that is not pet friendly!! I will keep you updated with pictures of your pets, and contact you immediately if any issues arise. I will problem solve as much as possible, but not without you knowing. This should go without saying, but I will never bring any other person to your home!

I am great at following instructions and will treat your animals like the family they are! I also work remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule! I currently am an online student, then I will be working remotely. So, I have an extremely flexible schedule and am able to care for your pets and keep them company! About: Update: I will not be available Oct 27 - Nov 2. This has happened to me and it is so very unfortunate I have to say this...If you have a senior dog, please let me know of any changes to their health!!!!! If you believe your pup is nearing end of life, PLEASE do not ask me to keep your dog. It is very heartbreaking and your pet wants YOU and needs YOU during his or her last days because YOU are their entire world. I love dogs!! I've fostered many dogs and volunteered at many shelters. I've had seniors and even fostered one with spina bifida. My first two loves were English Bulldogs. I have lots of experience with them and know that smooshy face breeds are much more delicate than other breeds. I absolutly love them! I'm not good with extremely energtic dogs, but can handle anything else. I am semi-retired. I currently work part time on Friday and Sundays with an occasional third day, so I am home a lot. I have plenty of time to devote to your pooch. In my home, I care for your pet just as I care for mine. Of course, with your direction implemented also. I do have a pool, so I will need to know how your dog is around pools, or if they have zero experience with pools, I will need to know that as well.

I am currently available at most anytime. I can stay overnight or just make visits whatever is the most convenient for you. I am very punctual Due to having four dogs I do not host other pets. About: I have 6 dogs of my own. I'm not allowed to rescue anymore so this is the next best thing! I am 29 and I love doggos!. Every other week our home is filled with 5 kids. Its like a zoo over here, you might as well let your dog join the party! We have a fenced in backyard, unlimited access to a water bowl, a pool if your dog likes to swim, its fenced in if not so no worries about those who can't swim. I have a love for dogs and they especially keep me busy when the house isnt filled with kids. All our dogs are spayed and neutered so no worries about any accidents. I drive a very large yukon with fold down seats so traveling wont be a problem. I am located about 2 miles from the local vet in case of emergencies and the pet store is right down the road in case you would like your doggo to come back with any extras or you need me to pick up food. I am home all day with the exception early mornings and errands or grocery shopping, etc. so most of my time will be spent with your dog so they can feel comfortable and safe. I have plenty of crates if needed for sleep time. I have a fenced in back yard with toys to play. I make sure to take the pups for walks and that they get plenty of exercise while they are here.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
