About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Everything from Great Pyrenees, Mastiffs, Rottweilers, and Bulldogs to cats and even farm animals. Caring for pets comes naturally to me, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I currently care for a well-trained dog whenever her owner travels for the holidays, following her training and routine closely to make sure she feels secure and happy. I’m patient, nurturing, and detail-oriented. I make sure every pet’s unique needs are met with care and consistency. If your dog has a specific training program or advanced commands, I’m happy to learn and maintain that structure. Whether you have a shy cat, an energetic pup, or an older pet that needs gentle attention, I’ll make sure they get the right balance of comfort, play, and care while you’re away. During the winter season, pet sitting is my main focus — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets the full attention they deserve. I’m available for extended house-sitting stays, daily care, and consistent companionship throughout the colder months. In the summer and fall, I work in landscaping from about 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., so I’m still available for house sitting and can easily schedule morning walks, midday check-ins, and plenty of evening playtime and cuddles. I make sure each pet’s daily routine is maintained, no matter the season. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space and animals with the utmost respect and attention. I follow all instructions carefully — from feeding and medication to walks, crate routines, or training methods — to keep your pets safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I always double-check doors, gates, and safety details before leaving or settling in, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to come home to happy pets, a clean space, and total peace of mind.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I cared for hamsters, fish, and even a little parakeet. At 19, I adopted Max, a sweet lab mix who became my constant travel companion for 11 wonderful years as we explored the East Coast together. I’ve raised all my dogs from puppyhood, giving me plenty of experience with training, socializing, and caring for them through every stage of life. Today, my family and I live on 220 beautiful acres in Chestertown with: Beauty – Aussie Heeler mix (5) Scooby – lovable mutt (2) Yakko & Dot – tuxedo cats (3) 70+ chickens with big personalities A lively 55-gallon aquarium with community fish and snails, which has taught me the importance of maintaining delicate habitats Living with so many animals — from dogs and cats to chickens and aquarium life — has taught me patience, adaptability, and the joy of connecting with creatures of all kinds. Whether it’s walking a high-energy dog, keeping a shy cat comfortable, or caring for fish and poultry, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I split my time between Chestertown and Glens Falls, which means I can offer flexible pet care in both areas. I’m available for drop-in visits in Glens Falls on the days I’m there, as well as home stays in either location. I’m currently recovering from a car accident and walk with a cane, so while I can’t take dogs on long walks, I can safely let them out into a fenced yard or supervise them on a lead. At this time, I’m not offering boarding services in my own home, but I do plan to in the future. For now, my focus is on providing reliable, in-home care and check-ins so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort always come first. In your home, I follow your routines closely — from feeding schedules to favorite playtime activities — so pets feel secure in their familiar space. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye on water and food bowls, and provide supervised outdoor time in fenced areas or on a lead. In my home (for future boarding services), pets will enjoy a calm, animal-friendly environment on our 220-acre property, safely separated from my own animals as needed. I have experience managing dogs, cats, poultry, and aquarium life, which means I’m attentive to different needs and personalities. As a volunteer firefighter here in Chestertown, safety and responsibility are part of my everyday life. I also believe trust is built through clear communication — you can expect regular updates, photos, and honest feedback while your pets are in my care.

About: I’ve had pets from hamsters to bearded dragons since I was young. I have fostered cats in hospice care and have adopted senior dogs to give them their best golden years. I have been caring for pets of friends & family for 15+ years. I currently work full time, 8am-4pm. Depending on your needs, I am more than willing to do drop ins before and after work and/or on my 1 hour lunch break. I have weekend availability as well. I have a fenced in yard should your pet be at my home. If you require services within your home, I am more than happy to play in your yard or walk in your neighborhood. Overnight requests can also be made.

We came home to a more relaxed Finn and I was able to relax when we were away because I knew he was in great hands! I will definitely be rebooking with Jaimi in the future!”
