John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. “Leaving Bounce with Julia while visiting Saratoga Springs was our first experience with Rover. Julia exuded warmth, competency and friendliness in all her online and in-person communications. Our dog can be hard to read: He has incredible bursts of energy, yet sleeps a lot. He loves other dogs, but in some instances becomes fearful of them. Julia assured us she would gauge his mood and decide to crate him or send him off for some group dog play, which is what resulted (dog play). When she drove him back to our hotel, he did not want to leave her car. So, that proved that all the good things we saw in Julia came true. Thank you for taking such care of our beloved Bounce! When we returned to Saratoga, we will also return Bounce to Julia's kind care.”

About: I've had cats my whole life and have taken care of other people's cats. I used to work at a feral cat rescue before moving to this area, so I have experience with very shy, less friendly cats as well. I am used to giving medications and any other care needed! Cats are my favorite and there isn't a cat that doesn't warm up to me!

About: Not only have I had pets ever since I was little but I have been taking care of them. Friends and family have come to me time and time again to board, walk, bathe or just give their dog some fun for a couple hours! Growing up we raised golden puppies so I have lots of experience with puppies and their needs. I used to work at a dog grooming shop, so handling any type of personality is no problem for me. I love getting outside with any furry friend for some fun as well! I’m currently working part-time so my schedule is pretty malleable to help out with pets. Weekends vary depending on the time of year. Happy to work it out at booking. I live in a house and am around to take your pet outside for multiple walks throughout the day. I can also crate them if need be. I do have a kitty so animals need to be able to get along with a cat.
About: I can take care of cats in my sleep. Anything they need—pills, shots, treats, play time—I can make sure they are attended to when you are away. No bowl will go unfilled and their litter boxes will stay pristine. Plenty of cat cuddles will be had for the ones that enjoy hanging out with me 😊

She stopped by AFTER a full days work, which was at least another 20 minutes in the opposite direction from me. Despite these logistics, Emily showed up consistently early evening immediately after her work day. About: My family got our first dog when I was five (a Dalmatian, Domino) and I’ve loved animals since. I’ve owned and cared for a number of different breeds of dogs and cats and though I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I feel happiest when I can share my time with animals I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I can easily drop in midday for a walk while you’re at work or spend large chunks of time with your pets during a stay! Unfortunately I cannot host pets in my home at this time. In your house, I’ll follow your instructions for pet care as closely as possible to ensure they feel comfortable and have minimal change in routine.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.
“We give Victoria a 5 star rating. She has been absolutely what we needed. She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. She was prompt and stuck to her schedule. She made sure our cat had fresh water and food, and cleaned the litter box. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. We are so happy with her services and would recommend her to anyone with any pet!”

About: I have been a dog owners for 15 years. My two beautiful shitzus have since gone to the rainbow bridge. I miss those wagging tails and long walks. I would love to share my time and love with your pet. I know how difficult it is to find a sitter and be comfortable while your apart from your fur babies. I have recently retired and home all day. I live in Greenfield Center on 8 private acres nestled in the woods with a large fenced in backyard . I am retired and home all day , I mostly garden and work around the house. Pets would be an added pleasure to my home I have a fenced in backyard. I live in the country at the end of a cul-de-sac my house is one level which makes it easy for little ones and elderly pets.

I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. Kelly was so caring and wanted to know of any food restrictions and special care instructions during our dog’s stay. About: I have tons of personal experience with my own childhood dogs as well as all dogs that I know through my friends, family friends, coworkers etc. whether your dog wants to snooze the day away or walk for miles on end and sniffing everything in sight, I’m happy to offer my time and attention for your fur baby to be 110% taken care of when you’re away. I also fully believe anyone on vacation should be able to enjoy their time away without excessive texts from a sitter—so unless you want extensive updates, I would only contact you if it was absolutely necessary/urgent. If you want daily updates, I’m happy to do so because I know I enjoy some cute pics of my cats snoozing away in the sun on days I go to the office! I work remotely and depending on your needs and distance, I am available for mid day drop ins. If given enough time to plan ahead, I can also be available to work remotely from your home to keep your pets company in your absence. About: My family got our first dog when I was five (a Dalmatian, Domino) and I’ve loved animals since. I’ve owned and cared for a number of different breeds of dogs and cats and though I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I feel happiest when I can share my time with animals I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I can easily drop in midday for a walk while you’re at work or spend large chunks of time with your pets during a stay! Unfortunately I cannot host pets in my home at this time. In your house, I’ll follow your instructions for pet care as closely as possible to ensure they feel comfortable and have minimal change in routine.

About: I’ve had a family dog my entire life, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I also have experience watching and walking dogs for other people, including strangers’ pets, and I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. I’m active, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m available throughout the week and have a pretty flexible schedule. While I have an internship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I still have plenty of time for pet care, walks, and check ins. About: I've had pets since I was 7 years old and have always loved animals. My husband and I have 3 cats, Olive, Marcel and Gus. I enjoy being able to spend time with other people’s pets and ensure they are cared for and have the same routines and schedules as when their pet parents are home. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. “Leaving Bounce with Julia while visiting Saratoga Springs was our first experience with Rover. Julia exuded warmth, competency and friendliness in all her online and in-person communications. Our dog can be hard to read: He has incredible bursts of energy, yet sleeps a lot. He loves other dogs, but in some instances becomes fearful of them. Julia assured us she would gauge his mood and decide to crate him or send him off for some group dog play, which is what resulted (dog play). When she drove him back to our hotel, he did not want to leave her car. So, that proved that all the good things we saw in Julia came true. Thank you for taking such care of our beloved Bounce! When we returned to Saratoga, we will also return Bounce to Julia's kind care.”

About: I have had pets in my home since birth and am very experienced caring for them. I got my own dog as soon as I was able to at age 18, he lived to be 16. I am experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with high anxiety, and rambunctious dogs. I'm happy to discuss any dog's particular needs. My husband and I both work from home. We walk our dogs at least once per day depending on weather and time of year. We walk them in the morning in good weather and after work if there is light to do so. Our normal routine is feeding twice a day. We live on 45 acres of unfenced land with an unfenced pond and stream where. I have two big male dogs, an unaltered Golden and an altered mixed pit, and one cat. I also have a baby under one year old.
