“My partner and I are homebodies and rarely separated from our two wonderful aging Labradors but had a short notice occasion that couldn't include our dogs. Since our dogs are usually with us 24/7, we do not have an emergency backup. Our vet suggested Rover.com and Cindy came to our rescue. We had a "meet and greet" the same day as my initial contact and Cindy was agreeable to a day care service on a day she usually isn't available. She was personable, demonstrated a kind interest in our pups, and they were safe and happy when we returned. I was very pleased to learn of this service and would not hesitate to use Cindy again! What a relief!”
“Katelyn and Andria were very responsive and kept in touch with us throughout the day by sending photos and letting us know how our dog was. They were able to get us in for the holiday during our trip to cedar point and we were very thankful We highly recommend them! They were so great with our dog!”

“Charlie had a great time with Patricia. And he loved spending time with her doggie as well. We are so happy we found someone who could watch Charile while we went to dinner.”

“Pippin did so well there! They were amazing with him and took such great care and updated me with little things to reassure me on how he was doing! Great people! Would use them again for sure!”

About: I have my own pet and I have taken care of my friends dogs and family. They call and ask me to pet sit or feed while they are away. I am currently working but will be layered off in a few weeks so I will be home to take care of your pets while you are away. I have a backyard and a leash to take your pets outside. I also have a male dog of my own so the dogs can have play dates and are not alone. 3 small children that lives animals. I give baths walks and play
About: For three years I walked two leash pulling cocker spaniels. I turned to watching Cesar Milan for tips, soon I had the dogs walking next to me with the leash loose in my hand. Their owner knew when I’d come to walk them, because they would be barking then quit, due to my entrance with no eye contact. As Cesar says dogs sense with their nose, eyes and ears consecutively. The owner made a comment once “oh, Ruthie must be here”. I’m currently working full time. I would be available after 4 pm Monday - Friday. I travel out of town every other weekend for family. It would work better if I could come to your place. I live in a small condo. That way your pet is kept in it’s familiar surroundings.
About: I have fostered many animals over the years. Very obedient dogs to deaf and blind dogs. I have also taken care of a variety of other animals such as ferrets, rabbits, and turtles. Hello, I am currently available at any time as I am taking a leave from my full time job for some very personal reasons. I will base things around your animals schedule. I follow strict instructions for your pets care plus more. Potty breaks are as frequent as need be especially with the age of the dog.
“We cannot say enough good things about Suzanne! Our dog Barkley had a wonderful afternoon at her house: he spent the day basking in her sunny yard and napping inside (basically Barkley’s idea of a perfect day!) Suzanne was wonderful to communicate with: prompt, friendly and quick to answer any questions I had. Additionally, she was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times which we really appreciated, and she communicated during Barkley’s visit. We will absolutely book Suzanne again and highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Chedeline accepted our Franklin on short notice, and arranged for a morning drop off. Her kindness was evident from the first communication, and continued throughout the stay. We are grateful we found her, and would work with her again, anytime.”

“Erin and her family were absolutely incredible! We had a very last-minute, late-night request, and Erin was so flexible, responsive, and accommodating to get care coordinated. This was our first time ever leaving our puppy, and she immediately gave us peace of mind with updates, sweet pictures, and amazing communication throughout the day. It was clear our puppy was loved and cared for like family. We are beyond grateful for her kindness, reliability, and exceptional care. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable, we highly recommend Erin and her family!”

“Jennifer is very warm and extremely competent with animals. My dog adores her and he behaves much better after a day with her. (He's a puppy and we are trying very hard to learn to be good...but aren't always) I completely trust her with my dog and feel fortunate to have found her.”

“Jenn watched my puppy for the first time today and did a fantastic job! He has a somewhat complicated medical condition - she read about it before we met and handled it wonderfully. He was so happy (and tired) afterwards, and he loved playing with the other dogs in the house. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life, and currently only have cats but would love some dogs in my life, even just to walk or board :) I walked many dogs and developed close relationships with them at the Licking County Humane Society for four years, and currently dogsit, walk, and take care of my friends’ dogs. I’ve been caring for dogs on Rover for over a year. My schedule differs a bit each week with work. I have a mix of weekday and weekend availabilities, and can work around your schedule most of the time! When boarding, I always do a morning, midday and nightly walk unless you’d prefer otherwise. I live in a 3 bedroom house alone right along the lake with an unfenced yard. The street is very quiet and there’s lots of room in general for your pet to make themselves at home!
“Beth did an amazing job! She was very flexible when I needed a little bit more time when picking Dakota up. She goes above and beyond for your pet and makes them feel like they are part of her home.”

About: I have grown up and taken care of animals since the age of four! I have had dogs of all sizes, inside and outside cats, fresh and saltwater fish, rabbits, chickens, and pigs!! I have experience in all basic animal care needs including training, bathing, brushing, and trimming nails! I am currently not working so besides doing everyday chores around the house or grocery shopping I am with my dog and children all day. In my home, besides having two toddlers that are very good with pets, I have two dogs that get along well with other dogs. My yard is not fenced in but I do have an outdoor kennel that is also open to board dogs if needed.

About: My first job growing up was working for my aunts Dog Grooming Business. With that experience, I am able to bathe, trim, nails, and give haircuts to most breeds. I have been watching dogs for family and friends most of my adult life either in Home or at their home. I enjoy being outside taking dogs on walks in nature & letting them sniff all the smells. I currently work from home and I’m the owner of my business so my time is very flexible. I am able to go to homes or watch pets in my home during the day and nights. My home has a large unfenced yard with a woods where we are able to go on walks and explore. I have two dogs in my home and they are part of my family. I do have crates in home if needed, but rarely use them. Both of my dogs are rescues currently so I do like to have a meeting before if a dog will be staying in our home. If I’m watching the pet in your home, I will come over as much as needed and even stay the night if that is necessary.
About: I’ve helped with grooming dogs for years and have done doggy daycare for clients for years as well ! Country safe setting ! Huge fenced yard ! I’m a stay at home mom free to doggy sit and spoil your loved ones ! My pets are treated as family with love always ! I have a huge fenced yard and a large home with lots of comfy furniture ! Gypsum dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ruth is a wonderful , caring dog sitter. If I can recommend her to anyone it would be my pleasure. She walked Dottie , took her for a car ride and was very entertaining to my baby. Ruth is the best rover sitter I have used out of the 6 previous sitters. Thank you Ruth for a day caring for my dog.

Andrew was a wonderful sitter! This was the first time I’ve ever used Rover for Doggy Day Care and it was such a positive experience. Andrew was flexible with us, as we were traveling to and from Cedar Point. He took Piper on several fun, long walks. He lives in a beautiful area, perfect for a pup to relax and also to enjoy nature. He sent pictures and was responsive with updates. I highly recommend him and would definitely rebook.
