“Holly stayed at my house over the holidays with my two big dogs. I was really anxious to leave them because they are used to traveling with me but Holly put me at ease. She did a great job sending updates and even cleaned my house! Will definitely use Holly again.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and for the past 20 yrs it has been the Rat Terrier breed. They require lots of attention and have high energy. I love it. I also have a cat that is indoor/outdoor and they all get along. I love to take care of the furry friends and make sure they have all they need. Whether you need me to come and take them for a walk, or just sit and play with them, I can do it all. I currently have an open schedule as a realtor, so I have lots of free time during the day. I can come over anytime to help with feedings or walks or just visits to check in on your animals. I have 3 dogs of my own that I care for and a cat. They have a fenced in yard to play in, but I have over 20 yrs experience in caring for dogs. I have a fenced in yard that my dogs play in. I currently am willing to go to your home for visits and check ins as I am not sure that my furry friends would like others here. I think it would be too stressful for all of them.
“Julie is amazing! She’s extremely communicative, punctual, and did super well with our four pets. She sent lots of updates and spent time cuddling with our furry friends. I will definitely book Julie again and will recommend her to any friends who need pet or house sitting!”

“Kristin was wonderful with my dog and two cats. I even added two addition cats to her duties and she was great with that. She stayed overnight with them and sent updates throughout her day. I will definitely be calling her again. It was nice knowing my babies were in their own home and happy.”

“The place where I was going to board my senior cat was full and we have a semi-feral 1yo cat that is too rough with her so we couldn't have someone to just check on them, we needed someone to stay. This was a very last minute change of plans but we met with Chassidy and knew she was a good match. She ended up taking care of our cats and dog. She gave us lots of updates, sent pictures, took Bane for his walks and gave them lots of love. She really put our minds at ease and we were able to enjoy our long weekend away. I will definitely call on her again!”

“Angela was so good with Ruby and they bonded right away. She sent frequent updates and I was totally at ease while away. Couldn’t have asked for better care. Highly recommended!”

“Marci was absolutely awesome! She sent plenty of pictures and updates. She really takes the time to learn your pup to accommodate all needs as best a she can. That’s something you don’t really see on here anymore so we really appreciated that over here. She even brought a few new toys, seriously such a great sitter to have worked with!”

“Dinira provided excellent care of our dog and home. She is communicative, loving, and is passionate about serving her community. It is not easy to leave our anxious pup alone but Dinira made her feel like it was just another day. After arriving home late due to travel delays, i was expecting to find our dog barking anxiously at the door. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed that she was fast asleep on the couch, relaxing to the dog meditation music Dinira put on. A sign that she felt loved and safe and was well looked after. I intend to work with Dinira again for my next travels.”

“Abbey was wonderful and did a great job caring for our 3 dogs! She updated us with lots of pictures and kept us informed while we were gone. We would definitely use Abbey again in the future!”

“Thank you Kat for taking such great care of our home & animals. Kat kept us informed with photos during our time away & our dog enjoyed walks with her. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have had dogs since a very young age. I grew up with them and also have a dog of my own. I have watched friends and family dogs for about 5 years and enjoy taking care of them. I want to work in the vet field in the future and think this will be a good experience. I am a college student studying at home and have a lot of free time to watch and take care of dogs. I can work everyday but I take off on Sunday to spend time with family. I have a fenced in yard where the dogs can play. I will have water pools and fans outside for the dogs to cool down. Dogs are allowed on furniture. If you would like your dog to play with another dog I have a dog of my own that loves new friends! She is a sweet girl and is not aggressive at all.
“Elena is a fantastic sitter! We have her booked multiple times and feel great about the service she provides. She sends lots of wonderful updates and takes great care of our dog and house while we are away. We'll be using her lots more and highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I'm Dr. Mo -- I'm reliable, attentive, and I absolutely love doggos! I'm the person people trust with their pets when they're out of town, working, or overwhelmed (let's face it -- life is lifing pretty hard these days). I have a kind, grounded, and loving presence and tend to do well even with high-energy and sensitive pets. I'm a psychologist --the human kind --but I am tuned in to behavior and routines, so I pick up on what helps your pet feel safe and comfortable. Whether it's long walks (or run/hikes!), playtime, or just keeping a consistent schedule while you're away --I'll treat your pet like my own. I'm also comfortable with medications, special instructions, or multi-pet households. You'll get regular photos and updates so you'll never have to wonder how things are going. If you're looking for someone dependable who genuinely gets animals (and their humans) I'd be honored to help. The doctor is in (and down for walks!) I currently work part time (remotely) as a college professor and run my own consulting firm, so I have flexibility to care for animals all week! I tend to work from a local coffee shop or my apartment mid day, but like to take morning and afternoon breaks -- which is perfect for dog sitting/walking! I live in a shared apartment, so won't be boarding dogs, but I'm happy to house/pet sit at your home. I've been doing this for friends, family, and faculty, for over 10 years! My work is flexible -- if I have my laptop, I'm set to work from anywhere. I'm adaptable and respectful of privacy, and enjoy having a change of scenery and working from different environments -- and enjoying the company of a special doggie pal makes life more wonderful.
“Aubrey was fantastic! She was very communicative, sent lots of photos, and overall just made me feel really comfortable with leaving my two boys with her. Highly recommend.”

“Marissa sat for my 3 dogs for a week. 2 of the dogs were great, Moe, not so much! He constantly barked at her would not go out or eat, she had so much patience with him. She worked with him daily and by day 4 he finally slept in the bedroom with the others . She sent daily photos and updates on them. I will definitely book with her again!!”

“Bea did a great job housesitting for me and looking after my two big shy rescue dogs for a week. The dogs seemed happy and healthy when I got home and the house was in great shape. Bea provided daily pics and updates and was prompt in her replies. Overall a great experience and I hope to be able to work with her again!”

“Mackenzie was great! I’m so happy I found her on here. She stayed with Banks while I went out of town for a few days and each day she’d check in and send me pictures/videos of my boy. It definitely helped knowing he was in good hands while I was gone. Thank you so much Mackenzie!”

“Caleigh was absolutely wonderful with our three animals. One of them is older and requires extra care and medication, and she handled everything with so much patience and attention. She sent daily updates and pictures, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats pets like her own. We would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable sitter!”
Gum Tree pet parents share their Rover experiences
Abbey and her pup Layla Grayce were great! They arrived on time and both were very personable and friendly. I knew immediately that she had a lot of experience and that they would fit in with our pups. She kept us updated with photos and text messages all day. I highly recommend Abbey and would not hesitate to ask her to sit our pups if we travel to Winston Salem again!
