“Jessica was very responsive to my inquiry and easy to work and scedule with! I really appreciate her being available last minute. Also, I allowed her to bring her daughter, and I could tell from all the pictures that our kitten absolutely loved playing with them both. It seems like he got plenty of attention, and their love for animals is totally apparent. I had no worries leaving our fur baby in their care. :)”

“It was a pleasure having Scott look in on my fur babies. He was very attentive and caring taking extra time out of his day to spend with them. I recommend Scott and will definitely call on him again.”

“Wow, Emalee G. did a fantastic job! We went on a long cruise and I did not worry about our cat one time. Every day she sent us pictures and updates! I will call her again the next time we leave town!”

“I can't say enough how awesome our experience was. Lexie was able to help go above and beyond to help us. We were out of town and had a bad experience with another sitter. Lexie went to our apartment and met our 90lb shephard/rottie mix and was able to calm her down and care for her for a few days with no issues. I got constant good communication with pictures with her before and after each visit. Lexie was even kind enough to check on Shadow after we returned home. HIGHLY recommend her! I will rebook with for our next trip.”

About: Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a current veterinary technician with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. Working in a veterinary clinic has given me strong skills in handling pets safely, recognizing signs of illness, and keeping animals calm and comfortable. Whether your pet is young and energetic or older and needs extra care, I’m confident and comfortable meeting their needs. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine! I work full days Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so I’m available for early morning, evening, and nighttime care on those days. I’m completely off on Tuesdays and weekends, which allows for full-day availability, longer visits, or overnight stays. On Fridays, I’m available after 2 PM for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I’m great at planning my schedule ahead of time to make sure every pet gets the attention, consistency, and care they need. I will not be accepting pets in my own home at this time, as I have two kittens of my own in a small apartment! I just wouldn’t have much space to bring in a pet, and for everyone’s safety, I don’t want to introduce a new pet and risk anything happening. I can do anything you require! From walks, to medication administration, I’m well versed in everything! I’m also okay with spending the night at a clients home, to make sure your babies don’t get lonely!
“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Jessica. She did an excellent job caring for our very spoiled dogs while we were out of town. She kept us informed about scheduled visits and their care the entire time. She went about and beyond in many ways and we will be requesting her again! Thank you!”

About: I have a personal passion for animals, and have taken care of everything from fish to horses since I was a child! I also have over 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician, so I can assure you that your dogs and/or kitties will be in good hands! I work from home, and make my own schedule, so I will have plenty of time for any and all of your needs! Even if it's last minute, please don't hesitate to reach out! Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Gulfport. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
