“Lindsey was Amazing!!! She took excellent care of Cleo and my home, and didn’t mind helping with the odd task if we asked. Will definitely be looking to book with her again!”

“Davey is the best! I don’t know if I want to leave this review because I want him to be available whenever we need him 😆🥰 Very responsive, understanding with dogs with “issues,” wonderful with cleaning up, taking walks, and making dogs a priority. His stay with our boys was seamless. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve always enjoyed being around animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I’m active and enjoy spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to take dogs on walks and give them the exercise they need. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure to follow your instructions closely so they feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m responsible, dependable, and will treat your pet like they’re my own. My schedule is very flexible, and I am available throughout the week for pet care. I can provide dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and other basic pet care. I am available during mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and I can work around your pet’s normal routine. I’m also happy to discuss specific times and scheduling needs with each owner. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I will always treat your pets and home with care and respect while following any instructions you provide. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and safe at all times, whether we are going for a walk, playing, or relaxing at home. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is being well cared for.
About: I have experience working at a doggy daycare. I have been taking in strays, caring for them and finding them loving homes about 10 years. Friends and family rely on me to care for their animals when they are out of town. I am patient, gentle, and these hands never get tired of giving ear scratches and throwing toys. I also have friends that are dog trainers. Currently working part time so I have plenty of time your pets. I can tend to special needs dogs, and can stop by for multiple potty breaks through the day I live in a house and have a fenced in back yard. if they bark a lot they won’t be disturbing anyone. I also have a roommate that loves dogs so they will get plenty of attention.
About: I've been taking care of animals since i was a child. As a professional, I have over eight years of animal boarding and dog training experience. I have experience in animal bathing, and administering medications for both cats and dogs. I love working with young animals, but i adore senior pets the most. I would love to take care of your baby! If you are interested in dog training just let me know. I'm experienced in balanced-dog training and have trained over a hundred dogs through housecalls and group classes. For a typical day, it's potty breaks and breakfast first thing in the morning. If I don't have any housecalls, I'll be home with your pet. Your pet will get potty breaks every 1.5 hours on minimum until their last potty break at 8 p.m. Your pet will get 2 walks a day either around your neighborhood or at a dog park. If I do have housecalls to attend to, my work day will cut short so your pet won't be alone for too long. If I'm doing a dog training housecall, the lesson is typically one hour. We will go over one or two commands at a time and we will train the dog until i feel that the client and dog have a good understanding of what's going on. I can usually cover over basic obedience in eight lessons. I try to schedule these lessons once every week, but its all based on the clients schedule. I never let your out of my sight while their are in my care. The only times I would ever leave pet would be to go to housecalls or gather supplies. I will take your pet on walks, training practice and provide them with a bath if you ask me or if they get too dirty while in my care.

My availability is fully open at the moment. I’m free on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m able to adjust my schedule as needed. Reliability, communication, and flexibility are priorities for me, so coordinating times is never an issue. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, love, and genuine care. I’m passionate about creating a calm, gentle environment where your pet feels safe and understood. Your guidelines and preferences are always my top priority, and I make sure their routine, comfort, and happiness are fully respected. Your pet’s well being truly matters to me.

About: Ever since I was little, I've been raised around and myself raised dogs; starting with my family breeding CKC rat terriers, then rescuing an abused German shepherd, to my current dog being a Yorkie, I'm comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes. While not certified, I am working with clicker training my Yorkie and I can usually teach basic obedience commands; I am also comfortable with attempting to reinforce any behaviors you are trying to teach. I currently am not working but am a live-in helper for my grandmother. Besides taking her shopping and to appointments, I'm pretty open through out weekdays and weekends. While I am offering walking services mainly, I am comfortable following any instructions you might have for if I have to enter your home either to stay a few hours or just stop by for feedings and potty breaks. While I consider myself able to handle larger dogs, I cannot handle poorly trained large dogs that will drag me and dislocate my shoulder. If you are training the dog to walk more calmly on a leash, I feel comfortable reinforcing your training if it is safe to do so.

About: Hello, my name is Jordan. I am in the military and here as a student until April or May of 2027. I have taken care of my family’s dog for about 3 years by walking him, taking him outside, and playing with him. I can do it in the morning because I wake up by 5:00 on most days and don’t usually use by lunch break. So I can stop by during lunch and after work. Since my family’s dog is a medium I would say that if needed i could crate most dogs. I also have no problem going outside and playing with them due to my dog also being very energetic.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my extensive hands-on experience and deep passion for animal care. With over 8 years working in an animal shelter and now currently working in an aquarium, I bring a unique blend of knowledge and confidence in handling pets of all types and temperaments. I’m trained in administering both oral and injectable medications, but my skills go far beyond special needs care—I’m also great with active pups, shy cats, senior pets, and everything in between. I pay close attention to detail, maintain clear communication with pet parents, and truly treat every animal like my own. Pet care is a natural and meaningful part of my daily and weekly routine. Whether I’m starting my day with morning check-ins or ending it with evening walks and feedings, caring for animals is something I genuinely look forward to and build my schedule around. I plan my week to ensure I have plenty of time for personalized attention, whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. Because I’m already immersed in animal care through my job, providing pet sitting services feels like a seamless extension of what I love to do every day Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in my clients’ homes, their comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. In my home, I create a calm and welcoming environment with plenty of space for play, rest, and routine. I stick closely to each pet’s normal schedule and habits to make the transition as stress-free as possible. When I care for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and ensure their environment stays clean, familiar, and well-maintained. In both settings, I offer consistent attention, affection, and communication—making sure every pet feels secure, loved, and well-cared for, just like they would with their own family.
“Scott did a great job taking care of my home and my two dogs. As a first time Rover user I was a bit nervous, but Scott's frequent communications and pictures put me at ease. I would request Scott again if I take another trip.”

About: I’ve had animals since I was 5 yrs old, there is just something special about the connection I have with dogs, cats, horses, etc. They make the world a better place, and they are my happy place I have a part time job so I’m looking for something else I enjoy doing which is spending time with animals, feeding, sitting, walking them, playing fetch or just being a companion to the fur babies. My dad has 2 dogs, so we like to play with them in the backyard and I have a small dog and I like to sit with her in the front yard, she’s super spoiled she thinks she’s the queen of the house. We take her for walks and rides, but all of our dogs get pup cups and lots of treats
The median cost per night for house sitting in Gulf Park Estates is $40

I cannot recommend Sophie enough! We were in a huge pinch with a last-minute booking for our Teddy, during our two-day wedding event. From the start, she was an absolute professional—responding quickly and even making letting us know immediately if she's available. She provided frequent photo and message updates throughout the two days, which completely eased our nerves while we were busy with wedding festivities. She followed all care instructions perfectly, and in a last minute issue she never broke professionalism. Knowing Teddy was in capable hands allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding weekend without worrying. We returned to a happy dog who clearly was well taken care of. She truly went above and beyond for a specialty booking like this. If you need someone I highly recommend Sophie!

We are so thankful we found Dianna to stay with our spoiled fur baby for a recent trip out of town. She is so down to earth, conscientious, kind and caring. She took absolutely wonderful care of our home and fur baby, sending regular pictures and updates on him to help ease our minds. Highly recommend!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Gulf Park Estates walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Gulf Park Estates maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Gulf Park Estates choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
