Wildlife biologist and pet lover!
I’ve taken care of a wide range of animals, including my own cats and dogs. I am happy to take care of dogs of different sizes and energy levels. I will provide the highest level of care and tailor my care to meet your pet’s needs. I love going for runs and hikes so would be happy to give your dog an energizing workout. If your pet is nervous or shy I am very patient and will make sure they are comfortable. I have always loved all animals, so much so that I became a wildlife biologist and have studied/worked with everything from birds to bats to desert tortoises and other reptiles. I currently live with an especially cute dog who I care for whenever I am needed. I so look forward to taking care of your treasured pets and will treat them as my own

Safety, trust & environment
I will take your dog on a multitude of potty breaks and give at least two solid walks during the day for overnight care. I will follow any specific instructions to a t, as I am very detail oriented. My home is an apartment which does not have a fenced in yard, however I would be able to take your pet for frequent walks. I also have a dog in my home which is friendly to other dogs and cats.

Tamara has been caring for my pets and housesitting for me for 10+ years. My dogs, bird, and bunny absolutely love her, and she truly loves them. She is reliable, caring, and responsible. When she is there I know that my fur and feather babies will be in great hands and that my home is safe. She also sends me photos of my pets when I’m away. It’s hard to be away from them but so sweet to see them having fun with her. 10/10 recommend.

Schedule
I am available evenings and weekends for house/petsitting. I am a graduate student so have classes/work during the day from 8:30-4:30. With my schedule I will care for/walk/feed your pets in the morning before I go to work and in the evening when I get home. However, my schedule is somewhat flexible and I can check in on your pets during the day if needed.
