“My little girl usually takes at least a brief time before she warms up to a stranger like she did to Honey. It was just about instantaneous. She was ready to go for her walk as soon as she was at the door. I think she was somewhat disappointed when it had to end. I will definitely use again.”

About: I love pets of all sizes, shapes, and colors! I can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t have at least one animal. I have had dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, turtles, and ferrets. I know I hate leaving my pet family at home during the day, so let me brighten up yours with walks and visits while you’re at work, and cuddles and company while you’re away! I work full-time as an ER nurse in our local trauma center. I typically work days but my schedule is variable. Any questions about availability, please ask! My fiance and I live together, so we are a team in taking care of your pets when they come stay in our home. He has had pets all of his life and is always happy to have an extra pet around. I am looking forward to meeting your pet and brightening up their day, and yours. I have my own pets I care for every day. I’m home often during the week and am able to take my dog outside and walk through my neighborhood so he can get exercise. I am also home most weekends and therefore am able to give my pet all of the love and attention he deserves. Pets are family. There are no rules regarding pets not being on furniture or in certain areas of the home. Unless your rules are different, this goes for your pets too! Trust me to make your furry friend just as much a family member as mine!

About: Trustworthy and Caring Dog Sitter with Over a Decade of Personal Dog Ownership Experience. Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter. I look forward to providing a safe and trustworthy environment for your dog, filled with love, care, and endless belly rubs. I currently work outside the home full-time M-F with a lunch break at 1200 where I come home and walk my 12 year old dog. I have a fenced yard, a 12 year old Yorkie, and plenty of places for your pup to explore on walks. Your pup will be cared for as a member of the family.

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals from birds of prey to horses to dogs, I watch animal's body language to know how they feel about a situation, and how best I can make their visit enjoyable. I'm currently working part-time on a Zoo Team that handles all kinds of animals. So I will have plenty of time on my days off to walk your pets and visit them whenever you like! Safety is the top priority for your pet, if reactivity or nervousness is a factor then I will do everything to avoid situations that could cause it. I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable with me so they can have a great time!

About: I’ve taken care of many animals on my family’s small farm including three dogs, chickens, a pig, sheep, and bees! I’ve always loved dogs and got my first dog before I can remember. Two of our family dogs are hyper cattle dogs that have required lots of training, so I’m no stranger to the zoomies! One of our dogs is a rescue and arrived to us with anxiety and Lymes disease among other issues. I know how far a little extra love for our dogs can go! I care for my dogs at home every day with walks and cuddles. I love to go on walks anyways and would love to take other dogs along with me. I’m able to take my pets and others on walks and have a dog sleeve for my car in case of emergencies or outings. I’m familiar with pet medications and many types of food.

About: I genuinely love animals. I am the type of person who stops everyone and asks if I can pet their dog. I do have professional training in taking care of animals; I worked at an animal rescue and a doggy daycare! I am 24 years old and I have my own transportation and will work very hard to take care of your pet! I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. Including animals with special food requirements, feeding instructions and giving medications such as pills. I have some training in dogs with temperament issues. I also have experience in taking care of cats, fish and reptiles if needed. I am currently a masters student so my schedule is all over the place, just ask me if I’m free and I’ll let you know! I have my schedule in advance normally. I have experience in crating dogs if that’s what’s required for your pet. My own dogs now are free roamers around the house so I have experience with excited or guarded animals when entering the home. I like being given clear directions so I know how to best care for your fur babies!

About: I’ve been caring for house pets since I was in elementary school. I love pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from energetic puppies to chill seniors. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always take the time to learn their routine, favorite toys, and comfort needs. I have a part-time job with limited hours, so I am available most days! On Saturdays and Sundays, I am typically free after 4:30PM, sometimes earlier depending on the week. When your pet is with me, they’re in a safe and stress-free environment! I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space, and I prioritize positive interactions, gentle handling, and plenty of love. Whether we’re at home or out on a walk, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings, avoiding hazards and sticking to safe paths and parks!

About: I have worked as a kennel tech at a local veterinarian/boarding facility, where I worked with everything from cats to puppies to elderly dogs, small dogs, large dogs, and everything in between. I spent multiple years volunteering at the Richmond SPCA and have received training both there and at my kennel tech job on cat and dog body language, handling, bathing, nail trims, and medication administration (oral, ear, nasal, and eye). I have worked in the past with large, reactive dogs and am familiar with stress indicators. I am able to provide additional care to sick and special needs pets and also have experience with keeping small mammals (rodents and rabbits), fish, and frogs. I'm home for the summer and outside of a week of vacation, my schedule is mostly wide open. This, along with Instacart, is my only job at the moment, so I am available most days and times and have quite a bit of flexibility. I am able to feed, bathe, walk, administer medications (oral, ear, nasal, and eye), clean up after, and give nail trims to most pets. For reptiles, birds, amphibians, etc: no live feedings or whole prey (except bugs), please. For liability reasons, I don't give nail trims to aggressive or flighty cats due to risk of scratches or bites.

About: Have my Vaccine and Booster! Can provide a FENCED yard! I have a golden retriever (loves to play with other dogs & leaves cats alone) and a grumpy cat (doing his own thing/can stand up for himself). I love animals and have watched a wide spectrum throughout my life. I believe the best care comes from a strong connection not only to our furry friends, but their handlers as well!:) I'm a recent student but I'm hoping pet-sitting can also be a full-time gig while I apply to my graduate career. I'm currently in between jobs so my availability is wide open! I've grown up with a dog and am now living with the best cat ever and my grandparents golden. Play time is essential but I always love a good lap pet! Can make any accommodations!

About: I have owned, rescued, and fostered dogs and cats of any age. I have no issues handling emergencies and medication or special care to your babies. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can devote lots of attention to your babies. I love animals and am experienced with pretty much any situation that comes up. I have a fenced yard and three dog friendly pups to keep your dogs entertained. Kitties will have access to the kitty playground my husband has built that is separate from the dogs
