About: Hello! My name is Amanda and I am that weird dog lady - who brought my husband, Kevin, along for the ride. My clothes are always covered in white fur from one of my fur children, it is my favorite accessory. I have two English Cream Golden Retrievers and have a rescue terrier mix. I have had dogs my entire life but had my very own dog by 10 years old. I have 2 acre fenced lot located in Wake Forest, I absolutely love to watch my 3 dogs and two human kiddos enjoy the outdoors! We would love to help watch your pups at a affordable rate while you vacation. I have potty trained, given medication to, and loved many puppies in my life. Please reach out to me if you have any questions! My family and I look forward to meeting with you! My husband and I both work full-time jobs, we rotate our days working remotely. We wouldn’t have any schedule conflicts with our ability to safety care for your pup. We will be boarding dogs in our house. We are a huge animal loving family, this means our pups and yours will be included in our everyday life.

“It was our first time using a pet sitting service, so we started out with a 30 minute visit. Ashlee communicated with us as needed, and she was very patient with our shy pup Luna. We've already booked two more visits with Ashlee.”

“Rachel was so kind and easy to work with! She took wonderful care of our dog. She was easy to communicate with and we felt confident that our pup was getting the best care. We are so glad that we found Rachel on Rover!”

About: Our family has had pets for many years. We decided to offer our boarding and day care services as a "family" business, and to possible do this during retirement. We are active adults, and still have a teenager in the home that helps with this endeavor, as he is saving up for his first car. I am currently on summer break, and have frequent breaks during my work schedule. Other members of the household also work flexible schedules, thus can meet the needs of most pets and pet owners. We are typically available most weekends and holidays. Our home is pet friendly. We have all vinyl flooring, and a large fenced in backyard. We also have the ability to take daily walks as our road is not heavily traveled. We live off the road, and our furry guests really enjoy looking out all the windows and doors at the squirrels, chickens and other wildlife. Our home is usually calm and mellow, so you your pet cannot handle a lot of barking/noise, they will probably love our home! We do not crate our furry friends, except out of the request of the owner. Although we have listed one pet at a time, we will take up to two from the same household.

About: My family raised me to love and respect animals of all kinds.. but I am not a fan of the reptile family (sorry!). I helped train a family dog during my high school years and became a foster mom/adoption advisor for a rescue in 2006. I have helped about 30 dogs find their furever homes! Personally, I have 5 dogs and 2 cats in heaven, and 3 dogs here with me now. I do provide pet sitting services for friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, and furry caged critters (i.e. guinea pigs, bunnies). I am experienced with dogs of all ages (puppy to senior) and varying temperaments (i.e. fearful puppy mills rescues, timidity with hearing/sight challenges, incontinence) and use positive reinforcement for training. I am currently unemployed, but have worked remote since 2020. I am out and about almost daily throughout the week, but usually not away for more than 6 hours at a time. NC state law prevents unlicensed daycare or paid boarding in private homes. See www(dot)ncagr(dot)gov (slash)divisions (slash)veterinary (slash)aws for more information. When providing drop-in services, I will do my best to honor the requests of the pet parents.

“OH MY WORD!! This was the first time we ever had a pet sitter and Charles was the BEST!! He took care of our PRECIOUS babies all week and posted pictures for us; which was AWESOME!! The house was the same when we returned!! Everything was neat and clean and the babies were all well cared for!! Charles deserves a huge raise and we will definitely have him sit again if need be!! Your site is AWESOME!! Thank you so much for being there for us!!!”

“Brittany is the best! Do not hesitate to book her for your pups! She did a great job and went above and beyond everything that we asked. She also took nice photos of our dogs while they were being exercised. Thank you!!”

About: Hi, I’m Paulina! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and started working as a dog walker and sitter back in 2015. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have two German Shorthaired Pointers of my own, so I’m very familiar with high energy and strong willed dogs, and I understand how important it is to give them the right balance of structure, activity, and attention. Every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know their routine, what makes them comfortable, and what they enjoy most. Whether it’s a long walk, quiet time, or just having someone nearby, I want them to feel safe and at ease. I also enjoy spending time with cats and have experience doing drop-in visits. I grew up with one, so they do hold a special place in my heart. I’m happy to stop by, make sure they’re fed, and spend a little time with them while you’re away. You may notice a gap in my Rover history because I was working full-time and had to take a step back. I’m glad to be back and taking on clients again. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and making sure pet parents feel confident and comfortable when they’re not home. If you're looking for someone dependable, patient, and experienced, I’d love to help out. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets. Additional Experience • Clifton Animal Shelter (NJ) — Volunteer (2014–2016) Helped care for dogs and cats—feeding, walking, cleaning, and socializing. • Dogs Deserve Better Piedmont (NC) — Volunteer (2025–Present) Work to unchain dogs by providing kennels, shelter, food, toys, vet care, and spay/neuter support. I’ll make sure to adjust my calendar to stay as up-to-date as possible when I have availability and am excited to get back to walking dogs in my free time! I will carefully follow all your instructions when entering and exiting your home to ensure both your pup and your home are respected and safe at all times.

About: I have taken care of many dogs & cats in my neighborhood since before I was a teenager. I'm not scared of them unless they are aggressive. I love to brush them, walk them, play with them, make sure their fed good & are happy campers! That makes my heart ❤ happy!! I work a full time job so I'm available only in the evenings to take care of your fur baby. Typically I will do week days, occasionally I can do weekends as well if needed. Just ask & I'll do my best to help accommodate your fur babies needs! I will greatly take care of your pets in your home. They are much easier to care for them in their own environment which makes them a happy fur baby!!

“I have been extremely pleased when I come home to a happy Pup! Mae has been wonderful with in-depth updates and pictures! Would highly recommend to anyone needing a sitter. You know when you can come home and tell that your furry child had been taken care of? Mae is that person 100%. Very excited to book with her again in the future.”

Not only was she a foster home for dogs for years but since moving to NC I have seen her adopt specifically older dogs to give them their best life in their senior doggie years. She has taken care of all my dogs including 2 puppies & a senior dog that needed medication daily. She’s a caring dog sitter & treats her dogs & dogs in her care like family.”

“Bonita has been a pet lover/owner since I've known her for 10 plus years. She's watched my cats & dogs when I go out of town for a day or a week with no problems. She has spent the night at our house numerous of times & she's just dropped in many times to check on them, walk them, feed them & has even given them a bath if they needed it.
