“Nancy is awesome.”

“Lindsay was completely professional in all ways. She handled my 75 lb. dog with ease. I would recommend her to anyone. I’m very happy with her and Rover.com”

About: Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area). I’m retired from a construction accounting job. We’re gladly at home most days! My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: First time users of Rover. Use promo code or tap link for $20 off first time service! 👇😄 https://www.rover.com/sit/debiv27954 Between my husband and I we have over 30yrs of experience caring for our furry friends. We have both owned pets most of our lives and will genuinely love and care for your fur babies while they're in our care. 🐾 🥰❤️ We are both semi-retired nurses, responsible to lovingly care and able to administer various necessary medications to your pet if needed. We have experience with senior dog care, various breeds and sizes and have owned a few rescue dogs and cats as well. We prefer small and medium breed sizes, but will open our home to big guys depending on the timing and if other dogs are in our care. No aggreasive dogs allowed please. ☺️ When your dogs stay with us you can expect lots of LOVE and PLAYTIME. We have a giant yard and play area and a small stream that our dog loves to romp in and out of! We will take walks, water and potty breaks and supervised play time to keep your fur baby happy and pampered. Our yard is partially fenced but your pets will always be supervised and on leashes while outdoors unless you as owners give permission to take off leashes. We are located in a scenic neighborhood on a closed road, with access to walking trails/dog trails to keep your furbaby well occupied and happy!! ❤️🐶🐾🐶❤️ My husband and I are both semi retired. We will be able to love and care for your furbaby the majority of the time they are in our care and give potty breaks as needed. On Thursdays we care for our 3yr old grandson, so if we care for your pet they must be good with children. We have 5 acres of play space and a one friendly dog of our own to keep your pet happy and occupied. We also have pet beds, bowls, and toys available, or you may bring your own if your pet prefers. :)

About: I grew up in a home full of 5+ dogs at a single time! I have 8 years of experience in both the child care and pet sitting fields so I am extremely patient. For years I have used Rover myself to receive pet care for my own dog, so I understand the trust you will be putting in me. I will treat your fur-baby as one of my own while you are gone! I’m currently home full-time with my 3 year old son and our 9 year old dog! I have experience distributing medication and will follow your instructions meticulously! We have a home with a backyard for the dogs to play in! Brutus has a lot of toys and actually enjoys sharing them! Potty breaks can be every 0-2 or 2-4 hours, depending on what your puppy needs. Brutus is extremely friendly with different types of dogs but I can also separate them if that is what you request! Since I have a three year old son, I do require meet and greets before I pet sit any new dogs! I also require the dog to be gentle and have no prior aggression towards children.

“Sandy was wonderful with my dog. Very punctual and responsive.”

About: I grew up with two big German Shepherd huskies and now I have a lab and German Shepherd Husky, and Catahula/B Collie I’ve watched pit bulls as well. Some experience with horses and live stock. Work remote in Cool and have very flexible availability, I can take very short notice jobs and I'm only out of town a few days a month I am someone who runs daily so long dog walks will be fun for me. I can also take dogs to parks if that is desired.

“Nicole is wonderful! She is knowledgeable, trustworthy and super sweet! She is helping me integrate our new dog by going on parallel walks. I plan to go out of town in a few months, and will definitely ask her to dog sit!”

About: My family has owned pets all of my life. Part of the duties for my first high school/college drop included taking care of my bosses four dogs. They included walks, play time, and grooming mainly. I'm not currently working, other than helping with my grandma when she requires, so I have all day free to walk, or play with, or check in, etc with pets. I have a 9 year old cat (Millie) that likes to keep to herself and an 18 month Goldendoodle (Gracie) who is super friendly and LOVES to play. I have a small yard that is not fenced, but a small porch that can be fenced that Gracie likes to hang out on when the weather is nice. I have a large living room with plenty of open space to play in. Plus a variety of walking routes around the house that Gracie loves to go on.

“Nicole ended up getting Covid, but she had a backup plan that saved us. Her son was great with our dog.”

About: One of my favorite things to do is to send photos of pets to their owners when their owners are away. I love working with all animals, they bring joy and delight to this world and deserve great care. Have been cat/dog/bird/lizard/chicken/you name it sitting for the last 10 years. I enjoy being reliable and flexible for friends, family, and “brand new friends”/strangers :). Every animal has different needs; I have years of experience when it comes to giving pets medication. Let me help out and allow you to relax while you’re away knowing your furry little one is doing well. I do work full time as an office manager in the Roseville area, but I do have the ability to stop during my lunch breaks for pets who may require additional potty opportunities or medications. My schedule is very routine and allows to accommodate most situations. I feel like the best kind of care is following instructions given to me by pet owners. They know their animals and they know what their animal needs. The one thing I’ve learned over the years is every animal is different. Also paying attention is very important. When I first meet a pet, I try to establish their norm/baseline and if they act in a way that seems not their norm, I always reach out and let the owners know about it. Quick and clear communication goes a long way. All in all, it is important to stay safe, and to create an environment for the animal that is trusting and kind.

About: What sets me apart is my personalized care and experience with dogs of all ages. I’m skilled in puppy training, patient with seniors, and always focused on each dog’s unique needs—whether that’s a playful walk, gentle exercise, or extra attention. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I will be going on summer break 6/6. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I schedule my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins to ensure each pet gets the attention and care they need. Whether it’s early morning walks or evening visits, I’m committed to keeping pets happy, healthy, and well-loved every day. I would take care of pets in the comfort of their homes. I unfortunately have a tiny house and don’t have a lot of space.

About: In addition to caring for my own pets including two small dogs and one cat, I’ve also cared for & watched pets for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I’ve watched them in my house, or popped in for feedings, potty breaks, walk, and attention/play time. I work from home full time, so I’m able to have your pets hang out with me, or drop in for feedings, potty breaks, walks and attention/play time to keep your fur babies happy while you’re gone. I have a double fenced yard for potty breaks, and have two dogs (cocker spaniel & small mixed Havanese/Shitsu - both female) and a yellow tabby to keep your fur baby company. If your doggie doesn’t like/do well with cats, we have plenty of space to keep them separated- just let me know in advance. Living in the mountains, we rarely let our dogs out unattended and would extend the same precaution to your animals (unless they prefer being outside). I’m also able to take them for walks to keep them happy & exercised while you’re gone.

About: Our motto is to be the People Our Dogs Think We Are. Which includes trust, kindness, respect and fun. We have a big fenced yard for plenty of space to run around. Our house has a doggy door for easy in and out access to the backyard. Our dogs, Lilu and Bento are medium size, litter mates, that have been crate trained. They have been trained not to steal food out of hands and not to beg for food. We don't often reward good behavior with treats unless requested. We also trained them to listen to commands and for the most part they respond well. They have been trained on and off leash. They rarely bark unless they are excited to play. They love meeting other well mannered dogs and are very dog friendly too! Most importantly, our entire family loves dogs and we love to be active with them. My husband and I both work from home. We often take dogs for walk early in the morning before the day starts. We often take them for walks later it the day, especially as the day cools down. We live near hiking trails and will often visit those areas for more active hiking. We feed our dogs 2 times per day, morning and early eve. We have taught them to only eat from their dishes at the same time. If there is another dog that is not on same schedule, we will separate the dogs so they can eat by themselves uninterrupted. They will often be given treats throughout the day depending on what we are doing. We have a fenced yard to keep the dogs safe. We also have a doggy door or easy in and out access to the yard. Both my dogs have been crate trained and I can host other dogs that need to be crated.

“Easy peasy :) I’ve sure Moose had a great time thank you so much!”

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I love going on walks and just hanging out with them. I also enjoy giving dogs baths! My schedule is pretty flexible! I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. I will also send daily pictures of all animals while I care for them.

About: I am very passionate about taking care of dogs and cats. I am playful and caring yet patient when it comes to taking care of pets. Always loved being around dogs and cats because they simply create love and laughter in every pet owners lives! Currently I am going to school but it is strictly online so my schedule is very flexible! I do have to pick up my sister and brother from school Wednesday-Friday at 3:30, but before and after 3:30 I am available! I have two cats, and they are only inside cats due to the outside being a dangerous place for them to roam and also more susceptible to diseases.

About: I have had dogs, cats and even rabbits growing up, have my BA in veterinary technology with experience! Can medicate, bath and partially help train if needed. I’m currently taking some time off from work and besides having 2 dogs of my own would love to help out other pet owners as needed. I have a fenced in yard and crate as needed. Dogs have an area where they can dig as they please and run around with lots of space.

About: Hi friends! I’ve not only grown up with dogs but have one of my own! I’ve been pet sitting/boarding for over 10 years. Good friends, family members and customers of mine have all trusted me to watch their animals or stay over at their house and care for their babies! I’d love to help out if I can. I am currently working part time for a brewery and have free time. That may change in the future but for now, I’m here and available to give 100% of my attention to yours and my fur baby. I live on a few acres and have most of it fenced in. The doggos can roam or stay on leashes, whatever your preference is. I live in a pet friendly environment and safe neighborhood. “I've used Rover multiple times for dog-sitting when I’ve been out of town, but my experience with Sam and Debra was by far the best! From the moment I dropped off my dog, Cooper, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such capable hands. This sweet couple not only gave him plenty of space to explore outdoors, but they also kept me updated every day with photos and details about how he was doing. What really impressed me was how they stuck to Cooper's routine – daily walks, regular meals, and lots of playtime, which I know kept him feeling comfortable and happy. When I picked him up, he was just as excited to see me as always and looked just as happy and healthy as when I left him. Sometimes it can be stressful for our pets in new environments, but Cooper definitely felt right at home with Sam and Debra. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave him, and I will definitely be booking them again for my next trip. Highly recommend this wonderful couple!”
