About: I grew up on a ranch in Vail Arizona and I have extensive experience in caring for animals of all breeds and species! I have two cats and two rescue dogs (chihuahua and border collie) along with one snake and a bearded dragon. I’m a part-time substitute teacher (I used to teach English in New Orleans before taking a break!) and I have a flexible schedule with summers and holidays off. I have a fenced yard and I welcome pets who get along with cats into my home. My two dogs can stay with my sister (who is a vet tech and only a call away) if there’s ever an issue with dogs who may not like to share space with other dogs. About: My grandfather and mother both have an animal science background so I was raised with a knowledge of animals and how special they are from a very early age. Because of this, I care deeply for the well being of your pet and treat them as my own. I think animals reflect the best of human behavior. I love all dogs, but am partial to bigger ones because that it was I grew up with since age 10. I currently work full time so I am available after or before business hours during the weekdays (8am-5pm, Monday-Friday) or anytime on the weekends to walk, visit with or house/dog sit. I currently WFH on Fridays, so my house/dog sitting is limited to Friday - Sunday. I can commute from anywhere in the metro Albany or Saratoga Springs, NY region so dog walking and/or drop-in visits are posible any day, most weeks. I will do my best to make your dog feel like nothing has changed in their own space (your home). On walks and during play visits, I will make sure they are comfortable, constantly watching body language for anxiety, fear, and exhaustion, etc. and will let their behavior dictate the pace, duration, where we go, and when bathroom breaks are needed. I treat walk and play time as their time and I am just there to make sure they have the most enjoyable time possible, while protecting their safety and health.

Kristina was above and beyond what we ever expected. her never ending love and attention she gave our fur babies was amazing it’s like they just gained a second mama bear ❤️ The pups were excited to see us when we got home but we’re also super relaxed because well Kristina was here they had no stress only LOT OF LOVE!!! She was amazing at sending us updates with adorable pictures & videos. We also returned home to see she cleaned the house and brought in the mail, so all we had to do was relax and snuggle with everyone❤️ Kristina will be always be first on our list if we need someone to watch our fur babies.
Kristina instantly became our favorite sitter and treated our dog and cat like her own. Upon the meet and greet, our shy cat even came out of hiding to see her, which rarely happens. Kristina went above and beyond with communications while she stayed at our house for over a week. She was incredibly respectful of our home and the routines of our pets. Coming home after our vacation, it was obvious that the animals were treated with care, and our home was spotless. We've had some good house sitters, but Kristina was extraordinary, and we look forward to using her again!
Kristina is absolutely wonderful! She stayed at our home with our dog, Nelly, for a week and I got pictures and detailed updates daily.
