I grew up with my beloved Maltese, who was a part of my life for many years and truly shaped my love for animals. Over the past 20 years, I’ve cared for the dogs of friends, family members, coworkers, and even my pastor—building a reputation as the reliable, loving go-to pet sitter in my community. As a teacher, I bring patience, structure, and lots of heart to everything I do—including pet care. I treat every dog like one of my students: with kindness, respect, and a deep commitment to their well-being. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a gentle senior dog, I adapt to their needs, provide consistent care, and ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. As I’m currently off for summer break, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. I’m available to welcome dogs into my home or provide in-home care at your place through September. I’m happy to give your pets lots of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away! As a lifelong animal lover and educator, I understand how important it is to create a secure, loving environment—whether your dog is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home. I live near a beautiful local reservoir with a safe walking path that I’ve used with many dogs over the years. I’m very familiar with the area and always remain alert and aware during walks to ensure your pet’s safety. I would never put your beloved pet, another animal, or anyone else in a risky situation. Their well-being comes first—always. As a teacher, safety is second nature to me. I bring that same responsibility and care into my pet-sitting—balancing structure and protection with plenty of fun, love, and tail wags along the way!

If your pup prefers space or slower socialization, I can easily adjust to meet their needs. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite habits — so they feel secure in their own environment. My goal in any setting is to provide loving, attentive care where your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

About: Fostering through Cold Nose Warm Heart NJ allowed me to fulfill my passion for working with dogs, but unfortunately I am no longer able to keep pets at the house. This has not stopped my love of dogs! I’d like to be a dog walker to have the opportunity to continue to spend time with dogs whenever possible! Fostering has given me experience with all kinds of pups - puppies (8 weeks+), small dogs, big dogs, shy dogs, playful dogs, … I work remotely and have a flex schedule. Able to accommodate different schedules, and willing to work with you based on what is most optimal for you and your pup! I have two dogs of my own (1 and 2) who love playing and would welcome guests. I very much understand the importance of keeping pups on a schedule, so will dutifully follow such plans.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was a young child and have worked training puppies, poodle mixes, for the last two and a half years. I have had experience with oral medication and brushing poodle hair. I love taking dogs for walks and playing in the backyard. On hot days there is a doggy splash pad available for those who like water play as well as frozen pumpkin treats. I currently work mostly from home and will only be out for a few hours a couple of days so there will be plenty of time for walks and games. What better way to end the day than to relax on the couch! I have one goldendoodle to keep your fur baby company and though he is big, he is super gentle with the little dogs. I have a 4.5 foot tall chain link fence around our back yard. I have crates with dog beds for over night and during the day your dog will have access to our living spaces. Since I'm home most of the time, dogs can be outside/inside according to their preference. Please inform me of any quirks or dietary needs your dog may have. To protect your dog from overheating or hypothermia, walks will be limited when it's over 85°F or below 30°F.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets all my life! I grew up with critters as small as hamsters and as large as horses! Currently I have two partial outdoor cats and two seniors pups at home, so I am particularly aware of each of their unique care needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications with syringes, eye drops, and ear medications. With all this animal care experience, I am attentive to pets needs and behavior, and communicative with their needs! I am currently in nutrition school, so have a relatively flexible schedule! I am often available early mornings and evenings and most weekends with advanced notice! When I am staying in a client’s home, my top priority is the safety and health of the pets I am caring for! I am diligent with following the clients care instructions, as that’s the care I’d want for my own pets. They are our babies after all!

About: I am an Animal Behavior College certified dog trainer. My wife and I have over 15 years experience in dog boarding, daycare, walking and basic animal care. I work from home so I'll be here most of the day to care for your pet. There will be plenty of opportunities for you dog to go outside and play. I have a large fenced in yard for playing and daily activity. If your pet enjoys playing with other dogs I have two of my own who also enjoy playing.
