About: As a pre-veterinary student, I am currently seeking a little side business to help me pay for my education. I work as a veterinary technician assistant at my neighborhood animal hospital. I've worked in veterinary care for the last two years, dealing with animals. I've been working with animals for more than five years. I am able to raise awareness about the need of animal welfare. Additionally, I have a lot of abilities and can provide medication to any pet that is currently on medication if necessary. In terms of providing services for each healing pet, I am knowledgeable with post-operative care. Someday in the future, I want to further my education. Please message me with any queries or worries. Since I work part-time at my local animal hospital and have most weekends, including two days of the week, available, I have chosen to take online programs in the meantime. About: I have always been the go-to person for many of my family and friends to go and feed the dogs or hang out with them. I grew up with dogs and always understood cues on when to give space or when they needed something! I adopted my dog almost two years ago and immediately started dog walking with her and later did basic training. At the moment, I work part-time from 1:00-6:30pm. My mornings are free during the week and I try to stay available for weekends. I am more likely to accept a new request with at least a week advanced notice, I will try to be flexible if that is not possible. In other pet owners home, I will make sure to follow any guided directions or precautions in order to ensure trust and safety in the home environment. In my home, I keep areas clean and free of anything harmful to dogs. I throw toys away that are damaged or could cause harm because of damage. I give lots of enrichment through feeding games, training inside and outside, and toys that allow her to use her brain! I make sure she eats well and drinks plenty of water while getting lots of outside time!

About: Hi, I’m Amelia! I am in the Southtown area, and I love animals. I’m new to Rover, but I have grown up with dogs & cats and enjoy them immensely. I unfortunately am unable to own any due to my job and apartment size. So I’d love to help take care of the critter you love! I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, and I’ve sat for both for my friends throughout the years. While my job keeps me busy throughout the daytime of the week, if you need someone in the am & pm or weekends, I’m your gal! ✨ I work full time for the USAF, so Early mornings pre 7 am and afternoons post 4 pm until about 9:30 pm will work best for me weekdays. Weekends and holidays are absolutely wide open! When I care for someone’s critter(s), I do so with my whole heart. I will give them oodles of attention and affection (consensually! I know not everyone jives with that) and make sure they feel well taken care of. I’m extremely detail oriented and will make sure that your pet and home are well taken care of in your absence!

About: I have been around pets since I was born, so that makes pet care an essential role for me. I have looked after birds, dogs, and sometimes cats. I am open for anything! I am available for anytime as of now, until further notice. As of now, I am flexible with any time that is given to me until something else comes along. I am currently employed full-time, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM. I have a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, during which I am available for walking, bathroom breaks, and engaging with your pet. After work, I have no additional commitments, as I am single with no children, allowing me to devote significant time to caring for your four-legged friend. On weekends, my only responsibilities include completing assignments for my online college classes. Outside of my educational obligations, I enjoy staying active and spending time in nature. While I currently cannot offer boarding services, I'm excited to provide house visits, dog walking, playtime, or even overnight stays in your home. I also had the honor of caring for my own senior dog during the final stage of his life, an experience that deepened my understanding of the needs of aging pets and taught me the value of patience, empathy, and attentive care. I currently share my home with my energetic senior English Springer Spaniel/Blue Heeler mix—equal parts cuddlebug and goofball. Living with a disability has never limited my ability to provide a full, enriching life for her or for the dogs I care for. I’ve developed safe, effective strategies for training and daily care that prioritize the comfort and happiness of each pup. I offer in-home visits only, allowing your dog to stay in their familiar environment and routine—ideal for pets who thrive on stability. My flexible, open schedule means I’m available when you need me: weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m experienced with administering medications (including pills and eye drops) and love keeping dogs engaged with enrichment activities like puzzle feeders, sniff walks, and tug-of-war. I currently don't work so I have a very flexible schedule to come to your home and feed, walk and play with your fur babies My open schedule will ensure that your dog gets properly exercised. I can do separate walks for multiple dog households. Crating can also be done.
