About: As a pre-veterinary student, I am currently seeking a little side business to help me pay for my education. I work as a veterinary technician assistant at my neighborhood animal hospital. I've worked in veterinary care for the last two years, dealing with animals. I've been working with animals for more than five years. I am able to raise awareness about the need of animal welfare. Additionally, I have a lot of abilities and can provide medication to any pet that is currently on medication if necessary. In terms of providing services for each healing pet, I am knowledgeable with post-operative care. Someday in the future, I want to further my education. Please message me with any queries or worries. Since I work part-time at my local animal hospital and have most weekends, including two days of the week, available, I have chosen to take online programs in the meantime. Those with hectic schedules can benefit from my services. Being able to provide for animals as much as possible when I can makes me happy. It can be stressful to entrust your pet to someone else, but I'm here to help. In the field of animal care, I hold numerous credentials. I am a trained veterinary technician assistant with training in animal behavior. I have also worked as a kennel technician for two years.
“Olivia was amazing! She came by to feed our senior cat who only eats wet food. We also have other cats that can make things tricky since they always want that food too, but she followed our instructions perfectly and handled it with no problem. It’s such a relief to have someone trustworthy come into our home and care for our pets. We’ll definitely be booking with Olivia again!”

“I was able to enjoy my vacation because Mel was conscientious and dependable. He took great care of my two cats and sent pictures every day. He even cleaned up their messes! I appreciate his care and will be ready to book another time.”

“I can’t thank michael enough. He provided house sitting for my two cats over a holiday and ensured every single one of my instructions were carried out precisely. My babies were both lookin good and feelin great when I returned and I’m so thankful to have been partnered with Michael. Will definitely utilize him again.”

About: I have always been the go-to person for many of my family and friends to go and feed the dogs or hang out with them. I grew up with dogs and always understood cues on when to give space or when they needed something! I adopted my dog almost two years ago and immediately started dog walking with her and later did basic training. At the moment, I work part-time from 1:00-6:30pm. My mornings are free during the week and I try to stay available for weekends. I am more likely to accept a new request with at least a week advanced notice, I will try to be flexible if that is not possible. In other pet owners home, I will make sure to follow any guided directions or precautions in order to ensure trust and safety in the home environment. In my home, I keep areas clean and free of anything harmful to dogs. I throw toys away that are damaged or could cause harm because of damage. I give lots of enrichment through feeding games, training inside and outside, and toys that allow her to use her brain! I make sure she eats well and drinks plenty of water while getting lots of outside time!
“We are so grateful for the wonderful care our dogs received while we were on vacation! 🐾 The daily updates and photos gave us such peace of mind and showed how happy and well cared for they were. Thank you for treating them like your own—we couldn’t have asked for better care!”

“They took excellent care of our 16 yo Chihuahua and 8 yo cat! They were very thorough, always refilled food/water, gave treats, played with them, made sure they had potty time, and even brought in packages left outside. Definitely recommend booking these two if you want peace of mind your pets will be well cared for.”
“Anne was very attentive of our pets, made sure they had their needs met. She went beyond what was asked, at short notice and we our very thankful to her. Thank you Anne and Rover for your help. Chad”

About: As a dog owner and someone who has been around dogs for as long as I can remember, I truly believe they are our best companions who stand by us through thick and thin. Their unconditional love and unwavering support bring us immense joy and comfort. My schedule works perfectly for me, as I have a day job that allows me to be available in the afternoons and evenings to spend time with some furry friends. I treat them as if they are more than just pets, ensuring they feel truly special by showering them with extra love and attention. I focus on creating a joyful experience, making sure they enjoy both my company and the services I provide.

About: Hi, I’m Amelia! I am in the Southtown area, and I love animals. I’m new to Rover, but I have grown up with dogs & cats and enjoy them immensely. I unfortunately am unable to own any due to my job and apartment size. So I’d love to help take care of the critter you love! I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, and I’ve sat for both for my friends throughout the years. While my job keeps me busy throughout the daytime of the week, if you need someone in the am & pm or weekends, I’m your gal! ✨ I work full time for the USAF, so Early mornings pre 7 am and afternoons post 4 pm until about 9:30 pm will work best for me weekdays. Weekends and holidays are absolutely wide open! When I care for someone’s critter(s), I do so with my whole heart. I will give them oodles of attention and affection (consensually! I know not everyone jives with that) and make sure they feel well taken care of. I’m extremely detail oriented and will make sure that your pet and home are well taken care of in your absence!
“April went above and beyond and best of all my pets just love her! Highly professional with fantastic check in videos. I will certainly have April at the top of my list next time I need pet care.”

About: I have been around pets since I was born, so that makes pet care an essential role for me. I have looked after birds, dogs, and sometimes cats. I am open for anything! I am available for anytime as of now, until further notice. As of now, I am flexible with any time that is given to me until something else comes along. I care for my pet by making sure he is fed, and I try to keep walks in his daily schedule. I make sure he is bathed so he can spend time with me on my bed.
“Kristi has dropped in on my fur baby a few times. Quick responses, good communication, flexible and always on time. I would recommend Kristi if ur looking for care with your animals.”

About: With 21 years of pet care experience, animals have always been a significant part of my life. Growing up on various farms, I've had the privilege of caring for a wide range of animals, from cattle and horses to dogs, cats, and rabbits. I've raised both puppies and kittens and have provided loving care for animals throughout their lives. Your pets will be in capable and compassionate hands with me! I am currently employed full-time, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM. I have a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, during which I am available for walking, bathroom breaks, and engaging with your pet. After work, I have no additional commitments, as I am single with no children, allowing me to devote significant time to caring for your four-legged friend. On weekends, my only responsibilities include completing assignments for my online college classes. Outside of my educational obligations, I enjoy staying active and spending time in nature. While I currently cannot offer boarding services, I'm excited to provide house visits, dog walking, playtime, or even overnight stays in your home. Your pet will have plenty of opportunities for companionship, as I have many friends with friendly dogs who love to play! I lead an active lifestyle, taking long walks in the evenings, running 2-3 times a week, and exploring new hiking trails on weekends. This active engagement is wonderful for your pup’s mental enrichment and overall happiness during their time with me.
About: Hi! I’ve been caring for small dogs (under 40 lbs) for years—originally for friends and family, and more recently for clients through Rover. I also had the honor of caring for my own senior dog during the final stage of his life, an experience that deepened my understanding of the needs of aging pets and taught me the value of patience, empathy, and attentive care. I currently share my home with my energetic senior English Springer Spaniel/Blue Heeler mix—equal parts cuddlebug and goofball. Living with a disability has never limited my ability to provide a full, enriching life for her or for the dogs I care for. I’ve developed safe, effective strategies for training and daily care that prioritize the comfort and happiness of each pup. I offer in-home visits only, allowing your dog to stay in their familiar environment and routine—ideal for pets who thrive on stability. My flexible, open schedule means I’m available when you need me: weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m experienced with administering medications (including pills and eye drops) and love keeping dogs engaged with enrichment activities like puzzle feeders, sniff walks, and tug-of-war. Your dog’s happiness and well-being are always my top priorities! I currently don't work so I have a very flexible schedule to come to your home and feed, walk and play with your fur babies My open schedule will ensure that your dog gets properly exercised. I can do separate walks for multiple dog households. Crating can also be done.

“Ximena was a big help and an awesome first time using rover experience. She did an excellent job taking care of my 4 cats with daily drop ins. Truly cares about your little fur animals and gave some great updates/photos during the week.”
