“We booked Stephanie while on a getaway and she was very responsive before and during the sitting. Very flexible and has all things our little one needed outside of food and his meds. Our dog didn’t want to take his meds with the snacks provided and Stephanie improvised to get him to take them and kept us up to date. Any questions she had - she asked in person or in the app. If we’re in the San Antonio area we’d definitely book with them again!”

About: I've been a lifelong dog owner and have cared for dogs most of my life. I've frequently dog-sat for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, administering medications when needed and providing lots of attention and playtime. I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My partner is retired and also home most of the time, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of care, playtime, and comfort during their stay. Dogs under 40 lbs. please. We provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment and follow each dog’s normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Our home has a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy time outside. We also have a friendly 5-year-old dog who is low-energy and well socialized. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is also respectful of dogs who prefer their own space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to us. We introduce dogs slowly, supervise interactions, and treat every dog in our home like part of the family. We are also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I started rover right after high school when I turned 18 to be able to get myself more infront of dogs and people which has been very kind to me ❤️, in preparation to start my own dog training and pet sitting buisness 🐶 I took a break and have missed my regulars a ton 🙏 but during that time i completed a full 9 month in person immersion at a dog training school and have learned a ton!!!! About: My whole life I’ve owned dogs and cats big and small. The neighbors even relied on me to take care of their furry babies. I currently adopted my own dog who I love and care for! Not only will I watch and walk your fur baby, I will give them the exercise, playtime , love and affection that they need. I am also able to take care of pets other than cats and dogs such as bunnies! I’m currently working part time at a doggy daycare and attending college majoring in business and entrepreneurship, so my schedule isn’t too flexible but I can make things happen and fit you into it! Safety comes first in my environment always. I keep an eye out the entire time I am with your pups and they never leave my sight. Walking them they will be on a tight leash at all times and I watch for any signs of discomfort, overheating, anxiety, sore pads, diarrhea, etc.

About: I always have been around cats and dogs all of my life. I first started to volunteer at San Antonio Humane Society in 2021 and previously wanted to start a career in Vet Med but decided to switch to Forensic Science. I’ve learned how to work with sick patients, surgery after care, medication administration, pet diabetes, reactive pets, and even can help with livestock cleaning and feeding ^~^ I am currently between jobs and can do multiple daily check ins / walking. Im always fostering kittens at home so I am definitely constantly moving ^~^ When I care for your fur babies in your home, I will always keep in touch with you on their condition and will let you know if anything happens ASAP. If there are medications to be administered I will keep a written log of time and date it was given. On top of that I always monitor daily water and food intake to see if there is any changes that may occur.
About: For the past 6 years or so, I have been trusted to take care of family and family friends' animals while they are on vacation, including reptiles and small animals, leaving them worry-free knowing that their beloved fur babies are well taken care of and comfortable. I also have cared for senior dogs and have no problems accommodating their needs to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. I'm currently working from home, so I will always be here with the pets and can keep them entertained throughout the day. My schedule is pretty open, and I have no problem working the pets that I am sitting into my schedule if something comes up. I have a massive yard at home with plenty of room to run around and explore, lots of toys too, so there is always something for them to do, and giving them their own little vacation away from home. Being in the client's home is even better, allowing the pets to be in a familiar place while also having a new friend to play with. Following a set schedule with feeding and activity is something that I love to stick to; this keeps everyone as happy as possible.
