About: 📍 Service area includes the Great Neck Peninsula and surrounding areas of Manhasset and Port Washington. ——— ✅ Reliable, Experienced, Ready to Care for Your Pup! 👋🏼 Hi, I’m Christian — a dependable, active dog walker and sitter based in Great Neck, NY. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m currently available for new clients! With years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. I’ve walked everything from Italian Greyhounds to Mastiffs and understand how to handle high-energy pups, leash reactivity, and separation anxiety with calm and care. 🐾 I work fully-remote in legal compliance, which means I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog the attention they need, whether it’s a midday walk, a check-in while you’re at work, or overnight care in your home - my office is wherever my laptop is. 💻 I got my start walking dogs through Wag! as part of the first group of walkers in Boston while studying at Northeastern University. I’ve been a reliable companion to dogs ever since. At home, I live with my fiancé and our labradoodle, Callum — a sweet, goofy 5-year-old who’s taught me a lot about patience, especially when it comes to leash reactivity and anxious pups. 🐕 I’m always happy to do a free meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a great fit. Let’s connect — I’d love to meet you and your dog! 😁 I work from home full time as a legal compliance analyst, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m happy to accommodate your scheduling needs. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow any provided routines closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, crate time, or favorite walking routes. I’m attentive to each dog’s specific needs, especially when it comes to things like leash reactivity or separation anxiety, which I’ve personally dealt with and fully understand. My remote work schedule gives me the flexibility to give pets my full attention throughout the day, not just during quick visits or walks.

“Keoma is amazing! This was the first time we left our guy alone since the pandemic and she made us feel so comfortable. He seemed so happy with her and she made this an incredible experience.”

About: As a vegan, I care deeply for all animals. I’ve grown up around cats and dogs, have volunteered at sanctuaries, and have a sweet cat named Corny. I have many friends with dogs of all sizes and love them all as my own! I’m currently looking for part time/night time/weekend shifts, but am very open to discuss weekday availability. I nanny my niece 3 days during the week, but am free early morning and evenings/nights any day of the week. I give a lot of attention to pets when I visit their home. I recognize it’s their safe space, allowing them plenty of time to get used to my scent and presence, play with toys, and give lots of treats (if and when allowed). I’m also very comfortable with elder or more independent pets who may not be as cuddly or active.

“John did an amazing job taking care of our two labs for eight days! He treated our girls like his own. He was excellent with her multiple medical issues, including, my girls, diabetes, which requires injectable insulin twice a day. He sent us constant updates multiple times a day, which included photos and video! He was so respectful of staying in our home and left it clean and tidy after his visit. I highly recommend him- he gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our family dream vacation!”

“Antoinette is lovely and our dog, Larry, really enjoyed being with her! She clearly loves dogs - took Larry for a great long walk - and sent pics to us! I highly recommend her!”

About: Having 2 dogs of my own, I know how much clients/dogs owners care for their babies. They need to be fed, exercised, trained and taken care of as if they were little kids. That's what I do with my own 2 dogs and that's what I would do with any other dog under my care. My goal is to create a trusting and safe environment for the dog and return him or her to their owner as happy as ever.

About: I’ve walked many dogs of all sizes and shapes, and I’ve also done overnight dog sitting at my home, including hypoallergenic breeds. I treat every dog like my own, giving them personalized care, attention, and lots of love. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well exercised. Pet care works perfectly into my schedule. I am a freelance photographer and videographer so my schedule is pretty much free this summer since most of my work comes to me and I am free to choose. Whether your dog stays with me or I come to you, I keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. At my home, I offer a clean, calm environment with plenty of play, rest, and attention. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all care instructions closely, providing updates so you always know your pet is in good hands.

About: Experienced pet owner for 13+ I can play with your dog most of the day/night I don’t mind how old or young I don’t mind big or small Very punctual and reliable! I currently work as a DSP in Port Washington Monday-Friday from 9:15am-3:15pm. I’m available after 4pm and free all day weekends! Please remember to book in advance! Thanks :) As I do not care for pets in my home at this time- I can deal with any circumstances to keep your pet healthy and safe in your home!

“Cynthia watched my pup overnight and took such good care of him. I felt at ease knowing he was not alone and with someone who genuinely likes dogs (even old cranky ones like mine). Thank you so much Cynthia!!”

“Andrew stayed at our home for a week to care for our rescue dog, Melvin, and our cat, Dolce—and he was absolutely incredible. Melvin is usually slow to trust new people, but thanks to Andrew’s calm, patient energy, they bonded beautifully early on in the stay. By the end of the week, Melvin was completely attached, and we were honestly amazed at how well it went. Dolce also got all the love and care she needed. Andrew was respectful of our home, incredibly reliable, and easy to communicate with. We came back to happy pets and a spotless house. This was our first time working with Andrew, and it won’t be the last—highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!”

About: Hey there! My name is Raquel, a college graduate with a minor in veterinary studies and i’ve loved all animals my entire life. I dedicated a large part of my childhood and school years to volunteering with shelters and rescues so there really isn't a breed I haven’t loved working with! I come from a family of dog lovers, my sisters owning a total of 9 collectively. Family reunions are packed! (no pun intended) My best friend (a vet tech) owns a dog grooming and boarding business, which I like to help out with on occasion so I guess you can say I’m living a dog lovers dream! When I’m trusted with the responsibility of taking care of someone’s fur baby, my schedule revolves around my guest! I try to include them in everything I do and if I can’t bring them along, that thing can wait. The pets take priority. I’m big on positive reinforcement and always do my best to respect an owners requests (ie: asking to crate at night, avoiding overstimulation or playing with specific toys) Dogs are always walked on leash and are never given human food.

Lastly, I can easily tell when dogs are in trouble or need to use the bathroom, etc. My schedule is extremely flexible so I can accommodate most requests! I will be present in the backyard anytime the dogs are there and will keep an eye on them while they play. I will be home 24/7 while your dog is with me, and will be monitored at all times.

She owns two shitzu-chihuahuas named Rocky and Heaven. She treats them like her own children. Aside from that she is amazing at training dogs. She loves walking her dogs daily to keep them healthy and stays on top of their health and grooms them herself. You wouldn't regret having her as a dog caregiver because any dog would feel love and warmth when in her arms and care. She would do anything to make sure any dog feels comfortable and protected. Kelsey watched our two German shepherds for us overnight and she was incredible. We have a very large, anxious and hyper 2 year old and a 4 month old puppy so we were very nervous about leaving them at all let alone overnight, however Kelsey met with us beforehand and we instantly knew she was warm, responsible, and a true animal lover so she was the perfect sitter for our pups. When we got back from our trip, our home was incredibly clean and our dogs were happier and safer than ever. We highly recommend Kelsey!!
