“I would like to start by saying, in general I am a skeptical person who does not trust people with my dog because like others, my dog is my child. With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. While scrolling through Rover I found Diane and I am happy I did. She was amazing in every aspect. She kept me posted about my dog with text, videos, and pictures several times throughout the day. She gave him sooooo much love and affection, responded fast and answered any questions I might have. She was very accommodating to me and Kobe. She treated him like he was her dog. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. For the past 12 years, IV had three dogs (one we need to say goodbye to after 11 years) a Rottweiler, golden retriever and a little Pekingese. As well as several cats through the years. My absolutely know and fully understand more then anything that these are your babies. Because when I have to leave my animals with someone I want to know they're in the best hands (just like my children!) I love animals, going for walks, playing, bathing. Keeping company. I don't sit on my phone and call it "companionship" animals have emotions and love, and deserve to have the best of that when they're in someone else's care. I love that I have the freedom to make my own hours, and do what I love. I do work as well, however I know my schedule weeks sometimes months in advance. About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience, professional pet care skills, and a home environment designed around each dog’s individual needs. I have about 5 years of experience caring for dogs, including dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I pay close attention to body language, comfort level, and interactions so I can recognize when a dog is relaxed, overwhelmed, or needs more personal space. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I’m both pet CPR certified and a certified groomer. This allows me to provide attentive daily care while also helping with brushing, bathing, coat care, and general cleanliness when requested. My home has a private backyard of approximately 900 square feet for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks, along with additional rooms that allow me to separate dogs based on size, temperament, energy level, or individual comfort needs. I understand that every dog has a different routine, so I do my best to accommodate feeding schedules, sleeping preferences, sensitivities, and other special instructions from parents. I also send frequent photo and video updates throughout each stay. My goal is not only to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, but also to give parents real peace of mind while they are away. Caring for dogs is a major part of my daily life and my full-time focus. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, outdoor play, feeding, rest time, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and adjusting their routine so they can feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay. I’m pet CPR certified and also a certified groomer, so I’m comfortable providing basic coat care, brushing, bathing, and grooming services when requested. For longer boarding stays, I’m happy to include a complimentary basic bath when appropriate. For shorter stays, bathing or grooming services can be added for an additional fee. My priority is always to provide attentive, reliable, and personalized care for every dog staying with me. I live in a clean and well-kept home with a private backyard of approximately 900 square feet, giving dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, and fresh air throughout the day. I also have additional rooms available, which allows me to separate dogs by size, energy level, or comfort needs when necessary. This helps each dog have a safe and quiet place to rest, settle in, and decompress without feeling overwhelmed. I have a 3-year-old Border Collie who is very sweet, gentle, and full of positive energy. He has done very well with other dogs and enjoys spending time and playing with them. I carefully supervise all interactions and introduce dogs gradually, while paying close attention to their body language, personality, and comfort level. I never force dogs to interact if they need more time or personal space. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, supervised backyard time, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax comfortably indoors. I also try to follow each dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and daily routine as closely as possible. Sleeping arrangements can be flexible based on the owner’s preference and the dog’s needs. For dogs who are more sensitive or feel more secure near people, I can arrange for them to sleep in the same room with me. After outdoor time, I clean the dogs’ paws to help keep them comfortable and maintain a clean living environment. I also pay attention to brushing and overall cleanliness throughout their stay. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and welcoming home where every dog receives individualized care and owners can feel confident while they are away.
