“Rylan did a terrific job taking care of our cat with a week of drop-in visits while we were on vacation. Rylan did an excellent job of providing daily updates and photos, and also brought our mail in, put the garbage cans out, etc. it is apparent that Rylan has a real love of animals, and it helped knowing that our little guy was well cared for while we were away.”

“LeAnn was very friendly and conscientious with our two cats. She came over before we left to meet them, go over the instructions, and understand where everything is and what needed to be done while we were gone. She spent enough time to play with both cats and give them some much-needed attention. We appreciated her pictures and updates on how the cats were doing. Both of them were comfortable with Leann and were very friendly with her. We are very happy with how she did and plan to use Leann again in the future as our primary cat-care person.”

“Melissa was a great sitter for our cat. She communicated promptly, asked appropriate questions, and sent photos on each day of our cat's care. Sidney was well taken care of while we were gone. Thanks Melissa!”

“This is the second time we’ve had Jeffery take care of our cat, Nora. A wonderful job! Attentive to Nora who can act a bit shy at first. It’s clear by the pictures she is very comfortable and at ease. That is extremely important to me. Very reliable and trustworthy. I’m completely happy, as is Nora.”

“First time Rover user and Jessica was absolutely fantastic with my two girls. I appreciate how accommodating and understanding she was. I hope to use her again!!”

“Stephanie was wonderful! I felt very comfortable with her dropping in to care for my cat. I appreciate her detailed updates and photos from her visits. Stephanie will love your pets like their her own 😊”

“Katherine successfully completed three drop-in visits to feed our cats, provide them with fresh water and scoop their litterboxes. She was on time (which we really appreciate) and cleaned up the dirty cash dishes. We have already requested her for future visits :-)”

“Denise did a great job, with our cat. She kept the food and water dishes full, cleaned litter box everyday. Also gave our cat some needed attention. I would highly recommended Denise for care of pets. Very reliable.”

About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. I would love to have the opportunity to spoil your pet as well as give you a safe space to leave your furry friend! Over the summer I am out of work and home with my pups and kids. In late August I will be headed back to work at a school nearby but working relatively short hours. We love to go on walks, to the dog park, the human park or just lounge in the back yard. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a large back yard. It is not fenced in but I do have a long line. I have a 12 year old pup who is a calm, unbothered queen and a year old pup who loves everyone and everything. In addition, I have 2 kiddos that are incredibly respectful of other pets space and will love your pets as much as their own however they can be crated if needed 😉
“Carolyn is absolutely amazing. There were a couple of technical problems through rover and she addressed them right away and was able to get everything straighten out. She fills out full descriptions of what she does and puts me at ease know my cat is well taken care of. Lots of pictures too! Carolyn was great ! Can’t recommend her enough.”

“Lacie took great care of my old kitty with heart disease who needs medication twice daily. I was nervous to leave her for the first time with someone I didn't know, but Lacie put my mind at ease right away. She responded quickly and was very communicative throughout the process, and sent lots of updates with photos and videos which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with Lacie again!”

“Gavin took great care of our dog, Luna, and my brother’s dog, Ike, over the holiday weekend. He was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated with photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups and would gladly book with Gavin again. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Vanessa is a true cat-lover and our cat was comfortable with her from the first time they met. She took excellent care of him while we were away on vacation, followed directions, and I would highly recommend her to other cat parents.”

“Thank you for dropping by and caring for our cat while we were away! Communication was so easy and I appreciated the pictures everyday! It was so good to know he was well cared for. Thank you!”

As of August 2026, there are 2,585 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Grant. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Grant. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
